Nice staff and food tasted fresh and homemade would come back if I am in the area again!

It's really 3.5 stars for me but I will step back because I'm not hyderabadi and people are commented about their catering. We got the chicken biryani and I had a kebab roll and for me I wanted a Karachi style kebab roll which cannot be made with a seekh kebab and a naan... that is a DIY meal I would make after a dawaat. Service was fast and server was nice and the place is small and neat but it just didn't hit for me. Aloo paratha was also like too thick and greasy but maybe I was just really craving more paratha vibes. Nothing tasted bad and everything was seasoned well but the buck stopped there for me

The haleem was so delicious! The mutton biryani was tasted amazing as well! Can't wait to go back again. Recommend it for the authentic Hyderabadi food. The owner is from Hyderabad so you can expect it to be authentic.

    Mixed grill

We had once tried their iftaar buffet and really enjoyed yet so we thought we'd give regular items a try today. The food was truly delicious and would love to go back again. We will definitely tell others to come. The mixed grill was good but it was only chicken. The mutton biriyani was kind of dry for me but it wasn't the best we had for Paki biriyanis. We will try chicken next time. The best part of the meal was the mutton fry. OMG it was the bomb with lacha parantha. All the food was carefully made and hard work was put into it. The service could work a bit. They should serve water in the beginning and give bill when it's appropriate timing. I had seen others get irritated with that but overall it was a good experience. They're nice people there.

Heard this spot recently opened so my family & I wanted to check it out. They have a small parking lot next to the restaurant which is helpful parking wise. Interior lghting is like a strip club, lol. First off, this is a restaurant that caters to carnivores mainly. Their menu is 95% meat based items. They have daal, bhindi, aloo dish & vegetable biryani as veggie options. Also, they have no appetizers. We ordered butter chicken, Chilli chicken & they were both pretty good but overly expensive at $16 a plate. My vegetarian family members ordered dal & 5 mins later the server came out & said "sorry, no daal", then they ordered bhindi & 5 mins later server comes out & says "sorry, no bhindi"- frustrating! The veggie dishes they did have were vegetable biryani which was just ok nothing to rave about. The aloo bhujia was also just plain & nothing special. The chicken dishes were $16 a plate & def not worth it at that price point. It's more curry than chicken. The standout was their naan which were pillowy & delicious. I can't recommend this spot & we will not be returning.

We love to see new restaurants opening up in Hicksville, NY diversifying various cuisines and regional favorites from South Asia. @jazeera.hicksville hopes to do just that with its Hyderabad-inspired culinary offerings. Last night I was invited to and surely welcomed by the team that brings us 'Jazeera' and my visit was nothing short of memorable. What we tried: *Mix Tandoori Grill Platter *Garlic Naan * (مندي) is a dish that originated from Yemen consisting mainly of rice with a special blend of spices and roasted nuts and of course, tender pull apart lamb shank. *Chicken Biryani *Chicken 65 I'd like to start off by saying , this has to be one of the best new e've tried in a while. Each dish showcased its distinct spice and flavor profile while not compromising on tenderness and/or juiciness. The Laham Mandi was a new dish for me and I was impressed with how bold and accentuating the rice was. The fall off the bone lamb was not overwhelming in the slightest in terms of gaminess and I thoroughly appreciated that. Although the chicken biryani is seasonably flavored, it is accompanied with a raw-spiced marinade to use at your discretion along with raita and green mint chutney. The Chicken65 was a personal favorite. The flavor profile of the tandoori based chicken is unique and packed with different aromas that encapsulate your senses. And to top it off we had some authentic hydrabadi desserts. This is the first time I've tried khubani ka meetha which is made from apricots with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy and has a jam like consistency. We also had Shahi tukda which was rich in flavor and hit all the notes of a royal dessert Lastly, I'd like to note that their decor is absolutely commendable. Soft blue hues found throughout the restaurant along with upscale chairs/ tables is so welcoming and elevated my dining experience! Share your experience when you go, I'd love to hear about it!

When we sat down it was kind of annoying because the sun was in our eyes from the window. They offered to move our seats, but the other table also was in the sunlight. We ordered a chicken kebab as an appetizer and got the mix grilled plate as an entree and goat Karahi. The mix grill plate was huge and came with like 5 different types of meat dishes cooked various ways of chicken and lamb. My favorite thing from the grill platter was the green chicken and the red chicken. It comes with tomatoes, and red onions as well. The goat karahi was good too the sauce was very flavorful and went well with the garlic nann. We also got a mango lassi, we found out half way through our meal that they forgot it and when we got our bill they charged us for 2 so they gave us a cash refund. Overall it was a nice place lots of families were there with their kids.

Friendly service and a lovely ambiance top it all off. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is medium sized, lots of booths, and was decorated for Valentine's Day. They take reservations and were pretty busy. Service was good, although a little slow at the beginning. I tried the following dishes: Cauliflower Manchurian (3/5): This dish was pretty good, but not amazing. I did enjoy it. Garlic Chili Noodles (3.5/5): Pretty good noodles, not very spicy but good flavor and consistency. Hakka Chili Chicken (4/5): I liked this chicken, but my dining partner did not. The chicken was boneless dark meat, which I really like. You can get it with no, light, or full gravy. We did full and had it with rice. I did enjoy this dish. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at HAKA. No dishes were real standouts, but they were all decent. It is not a bad option for Indo-Chinese in the area.

The menu has both indian and chinese dishes. It's not fusion just two different cuisines being sold. We ordered a roll that came with shrimp tempura, mango and salmon. We ordered shrimp with then and they came with fried/tempura shrimp, which we found odd. There was also egg on the dish but it did nothing for the noodles. We ordered the noodles regular so they should have had some sauce but there was none. The chicken dishes were both really good. The chicken wasn't overly fried or breaded. It tasted fresh and had a good bite to it. I like the spicy garlic chicken a bit more because of the spice. The haka chicken was more of a sweet and salty flavor. Both were tasty. If I'm in the area I'll come back here.

Unfortunately, our experience took a very upsetting turn when we found what appeared to be a bug in the food. We contacted the restaurant to explain what we found and hoped they would handle the situation professionally. Instead, the conversation quickly became hostile. After some back and forth the owner ultimately became very aggressive and said "if you want me to deal with this issue personally you can come in person and we can handle it like men" to my older brother which felt threatening. We left the interaction feeling disrespected, intimidated, and completely disgusted with how our concerns were handled. We were unable to reach a resolution or receive a refund despite raising what we believed was a serious food safety issue. Finding a literal insect in a meal is concerning enough, but what made this experience especially disappointing was the way we were treated afterward. From one Muslim person to another- that man had no kindness in his heart. I truly hope the restaurant shuts down or that man ends up on the street bc he's not taking food safety concerns seriously.

I ordered the mixed chicken and lamb over rice with a side of French fries, loaded with both white sauce and barbecue sauce. The platter was massive and beautifully layered. The chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with warm spices, while the lamb was perfectly seasoned, thinly sliced, and had that rich, savory flavor that pairs so well with the fluffy, flavorful rice. The French fries were crispy and mixed right in, adding great texture. I loved the contrast between the cool, creamy garlic white sauce and the smoky, tangy barbecue sauce. They complemented the meat perfectly and I ended up drizzling extra on every bite. The portion was so generous I could barely finish it, but it made for an amazing lunch the next day too. I also got the lamb gyro with white sauce on the side. The pita was soft and warm, stuffed generously with thinly sliced, marinated lamb that was crispy on the edges and super flavorful. Fresh tomatoes, onions, and lettuce added a nice crunch, and that signature creamy white sauce tied everything together beautifully. Every bite was juicy, savory, and downright addictive. Everything tasted fresh, made to order, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. This is my new go-to spot for halal food on Long Island.
