My experience with Jazz Auto was great. Just left there. I was skeptical at first due to many of the reviews on here and was about to go a different and more expensive route. I had no issues with the service. The team was professional and cordial; because there we very few words exchanged, I can see how some may interpret it as rude but not the case. I was told it would take 2 hrs; however, it took a little over that time which is fine (2:30 mins). I do wish there was more waiting room space because there were a lot of customers there; however, I found a coffee shop down the street and got work done while my car was being serviced. The price was beyond reasonable, too. I was getting ranges from $240-$440 to fix my window. They quoted me 149 with taxes and other fees it was 173. Not bad. I'll be going back to get my windows tinted. read more

Waited two weeks after receiving service to write my review and I'm happy to report no defects! The quote for my windshield from here was 200+ cheaper than everywhere else in the city and surrounding areas. I noticed a lot of mentioning of long wait times and feel it's fair to acknowledge this is a small family owned business- by no means is it commercial. I'd highly recommend calling ahead and scheduling a time for drop off/pickup. I experienced no issues and found the owner and his daughter to be very kind and honest people! Understaffed and doesn't know how to give reliable timelines or even provide normal payment options. Called and they said they could replace my back windshield same day. Dropped it off and they did not call me that day with any information whatsoever. I had to call two or three times before they finally called me at 6:30 pm to say it wouldn't be ready until the next day. When I went to pick it up the following day, I had to wait ONE HOUR simply just to pay and get my car, which was sitting there finished, because they didn't have anyone to work the front desk. They said their credit card machine was down and told me to go get cash. I asked to pay with Apple Pay and they said I could do that but made me wait at least 15 mins to confirm they received the money. Most importantly, when I asked if there was any sort of warranty or guarantee, they said there was not, but it would be fine because I "wouldn't have any problems."3 read more

I woke up to bring my daughter to school and saw my car had its drivers side window smashed in. I was originally going to schedule an appointment with a big name company but they couldn't get me in til the next day and the price quoted was outrageous. I searched around for a local business and found Jazz Auto Glass. It had great reviews. I called at 8:45, they checked to make sure they had the correct window in stock, they confirmed they did and said they could fit me in at 9:15. The entire process took 1 hour start to finish. The cost was half of what I was quoted at the other place. Clarence replaced my window and he could not have been more kind, professional and efficient. I went to this place June 3rd , when I was in tow visiting family so I can get a break tag I needed my windshield replaced. Afterward I returned to my home out of state. it rain a whole week and I realized my windshield wasn't sealed correctly and my car grew a odor from the water accumulating in my car literally was raining inside my car and ruin important things I've had . I was told to come back the 19th so I made sure I took 2 days off to come travel back to New Orleans and was told to come back the 20th at 9am the day I was suppose to leave to head back .. time goes by it's 2:00pm I'm calling because I was promised it would be done by noon. they NEVER answered the phone so I had to get a ride . This is not a safe establishment to visit during Covid-19. The person in charge "doesn't believe in all that" when I was talking to him about the lack of masking by customers and employees. He himself didn't wear a mask the entire time. Social distancing in the small waiting room is non existent and they don't even try. I needed my windshield replaced and chose this place because it had the lowest price. I really wish I would've read the reviews beforehand! First of all, they said that the pricing is more on the weekend and that I should've asked for the weekend price! So in the end the price was the same as other reputable people with better service. Buyer Beware!!Car windshield had a crack. We called around and Jazz had the best price. My son took the car in on a Saturday 1/7/23 and was told it would be an hour but it was over 3 hours. They didn't clean the windshield so he got home and went to wipe fingerprints off and noticed a scratch right in front of the driver. He called Coco multiple times and finally she got back to him to come in on 1/14 and they would replace it. He arrives 1/14 and Coco wasn't there but a worker told him it's not that bad you'll get used to it. Call Coco if you have a problem. He calls multiple times no return call so my husband calls no return call so he leaves a message he will dispute the charge. She immediately called back said bring it in on 1/21/23. Today he arrives no Coco and the worker said No! Not replacing, you're being petty and that he could resell the windshield. My son said then resale it I paid for a NEW windshield and Coco assured me it would be replaced. He said he's above Coco and he's not replacing it and accused my son of scratching it!!! After we've called 100 times in 2 weeks. We are disputing the charge. If you're paying for a new windshield it should be NEW, zero scratches. Took my car originally on 8/23/22 for wind shield and tint. Job done wrong was asked to bring back. Husband brought car back on 9/3/22 to be corrected. When husband drove car from back of building notice 2 employees looking and pointing. When husband brought car home notice bumper had a dent. Took back to shop. We were very upset. Receptionist , not Coco had nasty attitude, while husband was outside 4 employees bumbarded at one time. All trying to prove a point.The young man that was supposed to be supervisor, or owner had a very nasty disposition and attitude. And claimed at first that damage did not happen on property. Then he said my husband hit his van in back. Yet did not want to file a claim on my insurance. Then I was told that cameras were not working. We just wanted to review video. In the end we called police and filed a report. A red flag to my husband should have been when they asked him to go to back to pick up the car. It was raining real bad and he climbed in car on back passage side. He did not do a walk around to inspect vehicle. But to Jazz Auto and Tint in New Orleans area. The reason I know it happened on the premises is because all the times I have been to you establishment your employees always drove customers cars to the front of building to be pick up. I have NEVER SEEN YOU ASK A CUSTOMER to come to the BACK to drive off the lot. People please take pictures of your car before you take to this location. Cheaper is not always the best. NEVER GET WINDSHIELD REPLACED HERE EVER EVER EVER! Would give zero stars if I could. I went to get my windshield and passenger window replaced here bc it was the only place I could find open on the weekend. It was very cheap but turns out they did a HORRIBLE job replacing my windshield. Instead of properly installing it, they just glued the bottom plastic to "seal" the windshield and it was 0% sealed so as soon as the heavy rains of New Orleans hit, my car literally got flooded and totaled. Water got thru every corner of the windshield and flooded my computers. The dealership traced it directly back to the faulty windshield. They readjusted it left a second time same problem. Went to Safelite was shown how all the corners didn't properly line up and this wasn't even the right size windshield. I rang again to confirm the price and book an appointment and it was indeed still $139. I go there, I wait for an hour and 15 minutes and I got asked how much I was quoted, I said $139, the man, obviously taking advantage of a female on her own, says oh the glass that was reserved for you broke (oops!) and now we have to go to Safelite and get your glass and it will be $210. Sure. Whatever. I would rather pay Safelite double that, know my money is going to a decent and honest company. I was told that this would take only one hour... 4 hours later... I was still sitting and waiting with other customers who had been there even longer! It was a long and boring wait in an incredibly sketchy location! Unsafe place to be! Terrible service! Expensive windshields! After getting it replaced, I found several cracks in my windshield. I did not want to go back so I went to my dealership and they said that those cracks had been there for some time. I was infuriated! They gave me a used, old, shitty windshield and made me pay top dollar for it. After telling the owner about my issue, he was no help. He said that he could not fix it. The only thing they could do was glue it to prevent further damage. He would not give me the rightful replacement that I deserved. When I went back the second time to get it patched, I waited 45 minutes (after being told it would be no more than 15 minutes) and in the end, they said they could not patch it. i had brought my car to get serviced at jazz auto glass to get my windshield replaced, and i noticed a few days later that water was leaking through the roof so i took it back to the business and they supposedly repaired it, but in the process they used a water hose to water down my car to determine the problem , so before i drove off, i noticed that there was water in my dash and now my radio won't come on, and my ac will not turn off! they told me to give it about a week to see if the car will work, since they have had this problem multiple times smh....and here it is a week later and now my car radio still wont turn on and my car a/c will not turn off....they have ruined my car with water damage and now they are trying to blame my cars age (2011) and the fact that i was in a minor accident over 12 months ago! very unprofessional! read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. the price for a replaced windshield may seem too good to be true, and it is. 13 hours of of waiting (8 while they were supposed to be working on it while the car was dropped off, 5 with us in the shop while they were "getting to it shortly"), rude and argumentative staff, including the owner. their warranty on the receipt is not honored. no instructions were given on keeping the car dry and preventing water from getting in. when we came back in, we were supposed to be charged an additional $100 and i clearly told cyrus/rene we would pay with a credit card, and he agreed. when the repairs were finally completed, he charged us $185 (on top of the initial $185 we paid the day before) and said we couldnt pay w credit card, bc they were afraid we would contest the charge. they held our car hostage and insisted we pay cash. cyrus/rene even threatened violence after he said we called him a liar. the owners nephew, who was also rude and condescending, had to call him off. i called the police bc they were keeping our car hostage. police said there was nothing they could do bc this is a civil matter. so we paid. unsurprisingly we were in a line of people who were also back to have crappy work "fixed." i so wish i had read their yelp reviews in advance. a man named greg, who i briefly spoke w over the phone, claimed he was the owner but refused to give his last name and hung up on me. this is the worst and most jarring customer service i have ever had. read more

He spoke in a very unrespectful manner using s lot of ghetto slang.. the windshield ended up with a air noise and I brought it to a more professional auto glass outfit and they said the previous installer (Jazz) didn't remove the lower cowling and also failed to prime some bare metal scratches. I'm sorry, but if the receipt says "all work guaranteed" and has nothing about how long the work is "guaranteed," to me that means forever. Not the case at this "fine establishment." My windshield is leaking a year and a half later, my car now smells horrible, I am probably getting poisoned from breathing in mold, and they won't fix my windshield. Like many others, I was lured here by their low prices. It was literally half the price of Safelite. I called first thing in the morning, was told they would pull the glass for my broken window, and that I could come over as soon as I was able. I was there less than an hour later. I should have known when I got there that it would not be easy. Their record keeping is a handwritten spiral bound notebook and a messy desk. There was nobody in the office for the first 40 minutes I was there, and I finally flagged somebody down to let them know I'd been waiting. After 2 more hours, I finally moved my truck into their narrow garage. And hour later, it was still sitting there. There were 5 cars in the garage and one guy working, but mostly walking around texting on his phone. The office woman finally returned in her truck with several windshields and my window glass, double parked in the street for another 30 minutes. The woman next to me had been there the day before and was back for another 4 hour wait before being sent away because "they needed more parts" for hers. To their credit, they did do a decent job and the price was right, but I lost most of a day's work waiting for them. I think I was one of the lucky ones as they appeared to have trouble keeping track of anything. Several people remarked that the price was different when they arrived than what was quoted on the phone. And - bring cash. They will sometimes take credit cards, but will refuse them unless you pay a $35 surcharge. read more
