Had our sewer line back up and start coming out of the tubs. Called a couple companies but Jazz was only able to come out same day. Isaiah came out and was able to figure out clean out the blockage past the clean out. Really helpful emergency response! What was even better was they were then able to check out the whole pipe with a camera after and identify the issue (Big crack catching debris) and a schedule a fix to prevent a future block up for the next day. Marvin and Milton from Jazz Heating and Cooling installed a new Bosch heat pump system for us in May. They did a wonderful job. The install was precise. They cleaned up nicely after themselves. And most importantly the system is working beautifully. I would highly recommend them for your air conditioning, heating and cooling installs. Justin Berry came to service the system today (12/4). The system was not heating. He quickly diagnosed the problem (bad Lennox thermostat), installed a new one (ecobee), ensured everything was working well, and checked out the system. He didn't charge me anything but did tell me to prepare to replace as the age of the unit is old. I think their tech, Naveed, eventually did a good job, dispute their dispatch not communicating with him about exactly when to arrive. He arrived earlier than what dispatch told me when he would arrive, but at least he called me and waited for me while I rushed home. Their dispatch also missed an appointment a couple days earlier when no one showed up. Having said all that, Naveed did do a thorough job, and he was careful and ran options by me every step of the way. He also made sure to put on shoe booties to protect the floor inside my house. Had a problem with our Rheem central heating in the middle of a cold spell in February. Called Jazz to come check it out and they were prepared to come out later that day. I had to schedule for next day due to my schedule. Furnace burner would light but blower would not start and furnace would shut down. Our smoke detectors even went off due to high heat and some smoke came out of the air intake. Nick was the service tech that showed up and he did a great job confirming the problem of the blower motor and he recommended replacement of the control board as well due to the high heat it was exposed to and his experience that control boards often burn out after blower failures. Parts were covered under 5-year limited parts warrantee and Nick was able to run down to Dublin to pick up parts and replace them within a couple of hours. I hired Jazz Home Service to replace the HVAC system at one of my rental properties. After some research, I chose them because of their prompt initial response, immediate availability, and strong online reviews. Since this was a rental property, I didn't shop around for multiple bids, I wanted to minimize disruption to the tenant and was willing to pay a premium for convenience and the ongoing service support they advertised. Jazz quoted $34,000 to install two air handlers, a heat pump. The installation itself went smoothly, and up to that point, everything was fine. The issue came after the installation, specifically around the rebate. Before moving forward, I asked whether they would help apply for the rebate, and they assured me they would take care of it for me. After the work was completed, I followed up. Paul, the sale who provided the quote for me went completely silient. I called their customer serice, they did respond initially with "I'm so sorry to hear that--I'll escalate this for you," but after that, there was no follow-up at all. Despite a couple of more attempts to check in, the issue was never resolved and communication stopped. Because of this experience, I'm giving Jazz Home Service one star. If you're considering them, be aware that while they may be responsive before and during the sale, post-installation support, whatever they promised--may not be reliable. read more

Used Jazz for a new HVAC system last year. Initially things went well and they were very responsive, the installation was okay. Since then service has not been very good and even with their 10 year service guarantee they tried to upsell us on the most recent maintenance call. The worst though is they now have an AI agent that is not helpful at all. I called yesterday asking for information on our system and asked for a call back. Today I received a text with information I didn't ask for that told me to contact an extension for more info, when I did it went straight back to the unhelpful AI agent.
