Both were good and mediocre the eggplant omelette was decent nothing to brag about the French toast was ok. My daughter ordered the pear and cheese omelette & hans potatoes (country potatoes) which she said was actually tasty. Most pastries are $3-6, and the drinks are in the $4-7 range depending on the size. This is better than most other coffee and tea shops, especially in the Bay Area!! As for the interior, there's lots of seating, and every time I visited there are many people studying or working on their laptops. The music isn't too loud, but sometimes locals are chatting pretty loudly (so studying and working here is hit or miss). My only criticism (which isn't every time) is the speed of service when it's busy. The staff is always friendly, but it often looks like there are only two or three people working. Because of that, sometimes it can take longer for an order to be ready, and I once received my "warmed up" pastry a little cold since they probably forgot about it and were working at the cashier counter or making drinks.
