    Fall Festival in Mossdale Landing!

I love to support Jazzy! The drinks is delicious and you can tell its the "boujie" stuff. Definitely pricey but so worth it!!! The trailer is super cute, everyone loves it and his personality. We can't wait to see him more!

Hot Mocha was so delicious the coffee tasted great I would definitely make the drive for this .

Passed by Skillet'z in Niles and randomly stopped in for brunch--so glad I did!…read moreEverything we ordered was actually really good and hit the spot. The Bravo omelet was super soft and fluffy, loaded with mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado, and bacon--really fresh and not heavy at all. The New York steak sandwich was super satisfying, with big chunky pieces of steak and avocado that made it extra good. And the coulotte steak was cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and just really well done overall. Definitely a great little brunch spot if you're in the area.

We were looking for a family friendly brunch experience before hitting up the Niles Farmer's Market…read moreand found Skillet'z Cafe just around the corner. Luckily there was no line at 8:30 in the morning on a Saturday. Rating Breakdown: 1/2 Stars for Taste -- The menu is HUGE and it was difficult to pick just one thing to order. I ended up choosing the Tio Pancho because I can never resist biscuits and gravy. The scramble itself was good, I'm a big fan of their chorizo as it's not overpoweringly sour/tangy like some other places. It was also mild enough that my kids were able to try a little. I opted for the hash browns which added a nice crispiness into the mix. I would actually skip the biscuits and gravy next time -- the biscuits are on the cake-y side and the gravy is a bit bland. My husband ordered the Mexican chicken fried steak. The steak itself was also bland, but it was fine paired with the chorizo and sauce on top. Their hashbrowns are crispy on the outside but made thick with a more mushy inside, not our favorite. My husband's sunny side eggs were also a bit underdone, the egg whites were still runny. We were both fans of the salsa that came on the side. For the kiddos, we got one pancake. We're glad we only got one because it was literally the same size as the dinner plate it came on. It was super fluffy and thiccccc, just how I love it. It was also not too sweet by itself so I felt less bad about giving it to the kiddos. I would say the dishes are served "rustic", it's not the most instagrammable if that matters to you, but it is a mountain of food and a veritable feast. 1/1 Stars for Value -- It's about $20 per entree and the serving sizes are humongous. Definitely enough to share or take home as leftovers. Coffee was $4 but it was actually good coffee, not the watery stuff diners sometimes serve. It only cost $3.95 to upgrade the side of toast to a pancake, which is a steal...I mean, why wouldn't you do it? 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- The food came out unbelievably quickly. We literally said "That can't be it" when we saw them bringing it over. This place is optimized for efficiency -- everything from seating, serving, coffee refills, to bringing the bill was streamlined yet not rushed. Bonus star because we would come back when we are craving brunch. We would come early to avoid the lines.

TLDR: Indoor & Outdoor Seating…read more Wifi & Outlets (Inside) Low Prices & Good Drinks Friendly & Warm Staff Plenty of Parking --------------------------------------- I've been to The Nile Cafe 3-4x, and the friendly staff, good coffee, and low prices keep me coming back! 1. Atmosphere: I LOVE the small town vibes. Same 2 ladies always run the place. They know regulars by name, favorite order, and even details of families and travel plans!! The community makes it a very pleasant place. The inside is covered in vibrant, eye-catching murals (from a young woman artist who passed away - Fremont lore the owner can share!). There is equally colorful, mismatched, but endearing tables and chairs. The patio is huge and shaded, with many beautiful plants and cute deco! One down side is its loose sand and can be dusty. 2. Drinks / Food Drinks are insanely priced! Smalls (12 oz) are $3.80, and Larges (20 oz) are $5.50. Loved the Vietnamese Coffee (my go to now) and thought the mocha was decent. They offer lots of different breakfast and lunch foods - toasts, omelettes, sandwiches, soups, and salads. I can't eat most of them, but the bread smells SO good! 3. Amenities Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with wifi and outlets inside. Great place to study or work from home! Indoors tends to be a little busier, so I typically sit outdoors. There's parking outside with no time limit; later in the day it fills up but there's residential parking available on the same street. There is a bathroom that is a bit cramped, but functional. Overall a great, mom and pop cafe in Fremont!

Immediately upon entry, you can see the huge display of neatly arranged donuts, malasadas, and pastries and they all look amazing! So many flavors to choose from that it was a little overwhelming. As others have said, the price point is around $5.50 per piece so have that in mind going in. Ordering was simple enough and servers were kind and patient. Parking is maximum 3 hours and there are some tables and chairs outside to sit and enjoy your goodies. Overall, I think I'm still going to stay loyal to Doughweime in Union City, but these malasadas do live up to the hype. Everything bagel malasada: Surprisingly really good, a light cream cheese filling with everything bagel seasoning on the outside. And the texture of the savory donut was crispy and airy. 9/10 Strawberry cream malasada: Kind of plain, would've been good with strawberry bits inside. 7/10 Biscoff cream malasada: You can taste the real Biscoff crackers in the filling. 7.5/10

Visited Tyme for Tea for the first time this holiday season. The minute you step foot inside,…read moreyou're welcomed with cozy, charming, and festive vibes. The business is both a tea room and shop with tea ware, decor, vintage clothes, and other items for sale. Reservations are a must and my family was seated promptly at 1:30pm. The menu has two tea options and we each opted for Victorian tea. They present the scone first on a separate plate rather than on the tiered tray. The scone was delicious nonetheless, served warm and with three spreads: cream, lemon curd, and a seasonal maple butter which was a standout. The sandwiches were tasty and also served warm, with unique offerings like a cheese melt and mini quiche. My favorite was a cheese puff pastry item. The cucumber cream cheese sandwich was slightly hard to the bite (possibly overripe), but still tasty. The tea menu listed all flavor profiles and decaf options which I appreciated. I ordered a decaf blackberry sage English breakfast which went well with the scone and desserts (fudge, snow cookie, petit four). I enjoyed the warm scones the most, and the savory items second. This is one of the best value afternoon tea services I've found in the Bay Area for the price. Service was well paced and all parties were well situated so that everyone had their own corner. They even had a pile of a tea party hats to choose from towards the back wall. Overall, I would highly recommend Tyme for Tea and it's my favorite tea room I've tried in the East Bay. This business also perfectly complements the historic and charming qualities of the Niles neighborhood.

The parking lot is small and hard to get into but there is street parking. Review is for their breakfast, I love how they are open at 7am, it's perfect for early risers like our family. The remodeled bank is really nice and there are fun areas on both stories to explore. The windows and old bank architecture are particularly nice and you get really nice lighting throughout the day. Will be back to try their pizza based on how good the breakfast was. Breakfast Burrito: Probably the best we've had in our area. This is our taste but we don't like them too big. Avocado, eggs, sausage, and potato wrapped in a thin tortilla. The salsa this came with was excellent. My wife and I actually split this and it was perfect portions for us. Coffee: Cappuccino and Halo Beriti Pour over. You can see their timers and equipment so you know you are in for a nice cup of coffee. The only ding here is I actually asked for a flat white and the person working that day said it was the same thing as a cappucino. The cappucino was so good I was fine but I do like more coffee taste than milk which is why I asked for a flat white. Pancakes: Very well made with apple and whip cream topping, the kids ate way more of this than we thought they would. Yogurt: With granola, blood oranges, and pomegranate. We finished the whole thing, it was a very interesting blend of toppings that paired well with the drizzled yogurt.
