This was my first time ever at this Fremont location and oh my goodness I loved how spacious and clean everything looked!! They also had an assortment of pastries granted it was 9 o'clock in the morning! Everyone seemed to be in the coffee shop doing their work on their laptops, so it was very quiet. There was a lady at the cashier as well as two kiosk you could order from. Everything in the kitchen was very spacious and they have cute little curtains that block the view, but you can see their feet as they walk by and hurry to get each order made. I got the bay sandwich without the meat and added arugula. I'm always curious to see how much avocado people actually put on sandwiches since they're so costly. I was surprised I had two big chunks of auto avocado that was not bruised or moldy looking. Hee. I love how they put the chipotle aïoli sauce on the side so I could dip it or pour the sauce on myself. I got a Matcha latte with coconut milk, and that was simply divine!! The Matcha was thick and creamy, and not sweet, and the Ube gave it the perfect little hint of flavor! I honestly love my breakfast and I wish I would've ordered a pastry since they had a Pastory case with fresh items inside the lady next to me ordered one and it looked delicious and I could smell it a table away! I'm definitely going back to try all their different drinks and pastries!!
Super cute cafe with lot of fun drinks and snacks. Came in between errands for a quick drink and snack, but due to my timing, I coudknt ask for the sauce I paid extra to get for my corn dog :'( The corn dog was made fresh and very good though! I got it with corn flakes! For drink- I got the pink guava matcha with whole milk and strawberry collagen whip topping Limited Street parking- might have to walk a bit if it's busy!
This cafe is super cute! It definitely gets pretty busy and packed. If you're lucky enough to snag a table, it's a great spot to do some work. I really appreciate the cute decor and the filtered water on tap that is readily available. Their breakfast sandwich and sauce provided is delicious. The side of fries were deep fried with a great texture and flavor (but of course a bit greasy from the fryer). I also enjoyed their refresher and their matcha. I was a bit disappointed that hoijicha was no longer sold and I wasn't the biggest fan of the blended coffee because it lacked a strong coffee flavor. If you love chocolate though then I think you would enjoy the blended coffee. I would definitely return if I was in the area to try their other drinks.
I'm really disappointed in this cafe. The vibes are nice, but the quality is mid at best, and it's so disorganized. I hope they figure things out and turn it around. We came on a Saturday morning, so it was busy, but there wasn't a huge line. Even so, there didn't seem to be enough staff to handle the volume. It looked like they had only one person doing all the food prep, and only one person splitting time between the register and service. Because of the understaffing, the table we sat at wasn't fully clean, and our food order took 20 minutes to come out after our drinks were done. The food was also not good--and since their food is something they seem to emphasize, that's a bigger deal for this cafe. We ordered popcorn chicken, and it was pretty bland. Plus, it seems like we got a mix of two batches: Some of the pieces were warm, but some were so cold that it seemed like they'd been on the counter for a while. The drinks were mid. We tried both a regular and special coffee drink, and neither tasted better than what you'd get from a Nespresso.
I had an hour to kill before my doctor appointment so I took my daughter here to get a cup of coffee. I ordered Nutty by Nature (cold, with oat milk) and a chocolate mochi donut for my daughter. I loved my drink. The roasted sesame flavor complimented the coffee perfectly. As for my daughter's mochi donut, it had the perfect chewy texture but the chocolate melted as soon as we touched it. Since this store doesn't have a designated parking lot, I had to drive around twice, just to find parking. This is on a Wednesday morning.
You have to try the spam i am sandwich! It was soooo good! The nutty by nature latte was so good too! The pork belly sandwich, superb! We tried this place on a whim with a couple of friends and we already talked about going back! There's so many options, whether you're in a sweet or savory mood. They also make everything fresh and you can tell when you eat it. I would suggest coming here if you like flavors that aren't in common coffee shops. Real Asian inspired flavors that are so delicious! Only downside is it gets busy and there's not a massive amount of seating. It does clear up pretty quickly but when we came there was a bible study group occupying most of the space. So Sunday mornings, i can assume are usually quite busy.
Ordered ahead via their website! Had to get two matcha lattes because I didn't know which one I wanted to try! Got the guava and the banana! So good!!! Got chunks of banana & also the guava flavor is good! I arrived right on time & the drinks were ready. I was greeted immediately & the staff was friendly. The inside is very quiet-- a great place to stop by to study/work. I definitely would come back again to try more coffees and their breakfast sandwiches/mochi donuts!
I've never actually visited the Stardust Coffee House, but I've twice now ordered their Avocado Toast with Egg for delivery -- so delicious! On Uber Eats, this cafe is still going under the name Fremont Food Hall. I think Stardust was one of several businesses belonging to the Food Hall but apparently now on their own? Although I'm not sure of the background, I'm very glad they're still there to make the best Avocado Egg Toast that I've found yet in the area!
I've had a wonderful experience at the Campbell location, so I was looking forward to my visit to the Fremont cafe this past weekend. I had been here before when it used to be the Fremont Food Hall, not too long ago. The place looks pretty much the same. They have self-order kiosks, but other guests were super slow ahead of us, so the staff took our order at the counter on the right side (there are three front counters total). Service was sufficient, and our order took about 10-15 minutes to be ready. My bf and I were able to enjoy several items in their indoor dining area on a Sunday morning. Hot coffee (americano), iced chocolate milk, smoked salmon chowder, avocado toast with the egg cooked overeasy, and the BAE area breakfast sandwich minus avocado. Overall our items were okay, but a far cry from the quality we experienced at the Campbell eatery. And with the prices we paid, it didn't feel like the value was quite there. The chocolate milk was weak on the chocolate flavor, the chowder stock was thick and tasted somewhat generic, and the bae area sandwich had less of every ingredient compared to the version I had in Campbell. Particularly, the eggs were flat and the bacon was hardly noticeable. It wasn't bad, but it was a little disappointing. The avocado egg toast was probably the best part of our meal, with nice presentation, lots of avocado, and decent flavor.

I enjoyed the ube taro matcha more. You could really enjoy the ube mixed into the drink. I would love to return to try their other beverages. They have lots of different matches and hojicha!

This is a cute new spot with great drinks! The interior is really aesthetic with a modern look. You can order on the kiosks. We got a passionfruit mango hojicha, banana matcha, and hotdog with corn flakes and light sugar. Hojicha was too sour, I think it might be from the passionfruit. Banana matcha was really good! Great balance of banana, matcha, and the layer of cream on top. The corn flakes rice dog was so good!! Super crunchy, corny, and overall a really great combo of flavors that's not super common to find at other Korean hotdog spots.
I went in the morning to try the B.A.E Area sandwich and Guava Matcha Latte to earn a sticker for Fremont Restaurant Week. The barista was kind to help at the register even though she was on the phone for a bit when I walked in. She was nice to bring the sandwich to my table including napkins. The B.A.E Area consisted of bacon, avocado, and soft scrambled egg with a side of spicy aioli sauce, which is not too spicy. I ate without cheese and mayo to cut calories and it was still good. I feel like it would've been cheap like Jack in the box since it's not organic. The guava matcha was still sweet when I asked to lower the guava syrup, but it's still have the matcha taste and not watery. I really like the tables and decor, but the ambiance can be a bit loud since there are people chatting. Overall, it still feels the same as grand opening without Smochi merchandise.

As a disclaimer, this was my experience back in July and likely around their grand opening time so they were still working out any issues. We came in around 5pm on a weekday during one of the quieter times. The inside is spacious with many seating. At that time I ordered the strawberry collagen latte, I think it was part of the speciality menu at that time and popcorn chicken. Overall while it's an excellent place to study at, the drinks and food that I tried weren't the best. Strawberry collagen latte: 3.5/5 It wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. The espresso was good but it didn't seem to work well with the strawberry collagen foam? Seemed a little bit grainy and it's more berry flavor forward than specifically strawberries Popcorn chicken: 3.5/5 While it came with a spicy mayo sauce, it wasn't the most flavorful on its own. The chicken was well cooked but also on the dry side. It fulfills a craving. Overall, it's not a bad place to stop by after work. I'll just order something else on the menu next time read more

This Stardust is a must in Fremont. I've been to other stardust in SJ area and this one. Let me just say the one in SJ does not have same menu items as the one in Fremont. Food and drinks were good. read more

This was a surprising find! Happened upon this location walking the area, I'll be honest it looked just okay from outside. But the vibe inside is really good. It's spacious and there's ample seating, spread out. I'm considering this to be the location for my book club because it's also right next to a bookstore. My favorite part is that they have setup a good area for kids with many books- this will be a perfect spot for mom & baby dates. A very thoughtful touch. I ordered cortado. It was slightly bitter for my taste. The pastries also looked amazing. I'll be back to try more. read more

I'm already planning on going back to Stardust! I loved everything about my experience here, from the wonderful location, the ample seating, the decor, to the high quality hojicha that didn't incur an upcharge for the dairy free milk options! The ordering process with the kiosk was so easy and quick, and the staff was helpful and fast. I recommend checking this place out- it was reasonably priced, I'm impressed with how late they stay open, and it seems like you will always find seating, indoors and out! read more
Stardust Coffee House takes over Fremont Food Hall with same vendors & new modern coffee/drinks. this is their 2nd location. Parking more abundant a block away. More seating in main room. Almost packed. No outside seating. Not much decor. 3 separate food counters: mochi donuts, Korean food, coffee... Stardust offerings: classics, specialty espresso lattes, matcha, hojicha... Greeted quickly upon approaching counter. Ordered. Got drink in 5ish minutes. Sips: Strawberry matcha (7.25) forgot to order less ice. Picked almond milk when offered a choice. -lst taste was slightly bitter. Probably matcha or almond milk. Strawberry layer on bottom small. Majority milk, 1/3 matcha on top. -stirred it up, mixing strawberry purée with matcha on top & milk in middle. Blend had very faint sweet taste. At the finish, ice came into view. Also diluting taste. -didn't enjoy drink much. Didn't know it was a latte. Not a milk nor latte drinker. Doubtful repeat. Worthy if one likes latte. Quality: fresh ingredients. Quantity: 16 oz. Reasonable if one likes it. 3.5 stars read more

This may become my new coffee shop. It was clean, well spaced out, had plenty of electrical outlets and had upbeat music in the background. The drinks and food were delicious but what made it the best of everything was the staff. This woman was so sweet and so kind that it just really made a big difference on my day. read more

Me and my boyfriend went here on a sunday afternoon just to have a little snack and it did not disappoint. First impression, very busy for a sunday afternoon at 4pm. The cafe is pretty spacious and very modern. The mochi donut appears the sell out fairly early on the day since I noticed the register for it was already closed. Even on their online the mochi donut was sold out. I would suggest they add outdoor seating since they actually have a good amount of outdoor space outside. Especially this coming summer, the outdoor seating would actually be nice especially since it can get crowded inside the cafe. I ordered the guava matcha and my boyfriend ordered at banana matcha. Both drinks were really good and very refreshing and not overly sweet. I like the bits of banana and guava in the drink and the banana matcha tasted really fresh. For snacks we ordered the popcorn chicken and I ordered the spam sandwich. I didn't like the egg on the spam and it did take them a little long to make the sandwich. I do think the the popcorn chicken was a little on the pricier side for such a small amount but it definitely as good and it had basil leaves. All in all, great selection, and great tasting drinks. It can definitely get busy so keep that in mind but it was worth it read more

Love this new coffee shop. Chill vibes, chill music, lots of seating, great pastries, great service, and so many creative specialty drinks with coffee, matcha, and hojicha. Tips: 1. On street parking can fill up quickly. If so, use the parking lot behind the adjacent plaza. 2. If you'd like an afternoon pick-me-up, go after 3pm and enjoy half off pastries. read more
Food Yummy mochi donut ! It was really chewy! Had I known I would have bought more since the price is a lot for just ones. Service Order at the kiosk with nice screen, UI took me a while to figure out, should've been more intuitive, give you your order, take a table number to your table. Ambiance Clean, cute, good place co-working, lots of nice soft chairs/seats, cool book shelf and good chill music. The WiFi works until a certain point, they have signs that say there is a 90 min limit and seating for customers only. Verdict I'd come here again to try other good and drinks. read more

Been here twice now and I love them! The staff are always really friendly. The service does take a few minutes though and parking is usually a little hard. The cafe itself is really cute and comfortable to stay for hours to do work. But for me my favorite part is their drinks. They're delicious. And they have strawberry croissants which I haven't seen anywhere else! read more

Very lovely, warm cafe ambiance! I would definitely study or do work here. Parking is limited as it's on a strip with other businesses. Drinks are interesting so I'd be curious to try more of the menu. Coffee taste here isn't my favorite as it's more acidic than I'd prefer, so it's hard to drink on its own. Not unpleasant though, I've definitely had worse. Paired with flavoring, the espresso is more bearable. RECS: + Purple moon ($7.25) had a delicious, subtle taro and ube flavor. It added a touch of sweetness, but not too much, and it made like the latte enjoyable! read more

Ambiance: clean, well-lit coffee shop with spacious seating areas. Service: two self-serve kiosks at the front. After ordering, grab a table number and drinks are brought to you (a nice touch). Drinks: I ordered the Banana Bloom with oat milk. I liked the option you had to customize your dairy (whole milk, oat, almond) at no extra charge. You're also able to add extra toppings and shots. However, sweetness is not customable. Thankfully, my drink was the perfect sweetness for me. 3.5 stars I got the pineapple yuzu hojicha latte, not too sweet without having to tweak it. The hojicha is not bad and the pineapple is a very interesting combo but I got the skinny straw and couldn't really eat the pineapple bits! Wonder if there was a bigger straw and I didn't see it. I don't taste the yuzu though and the flavors are probably too redundant anyways. read more
I went here on Christmas Eve in desperate need of matcha before the festivities and I'm so thankful that it was open. I ordered the banana matcha and it has banana puree in it which I know isn't everyone's favorite, but I enjoyed it a lot. I also love going to the Fremont Food Hall and I've been there before they changed it to what it is now and I can say that it is a nice upgrade. It's a nice place to catch up with friends and there's a variety of things to try as well. read more

Formerly known as Fremont Food Hall, this spot has rebranded as Stardust Coffee House, bringing the individual food vendors under one name while still offering many of the same items. stood out I tried their matcha latte. It was fine, but nothing stood out. The flavor reminded me a lot of Starbucks matcha, and it leaned heavily on ice, which diluted it a bit. I came on a Tuesday to get some work done, and there were a decent number of tables available. There's a cute, cozy nook near the restroom with books and a claw machine. The WiFi was fast, but I didn't notice any outlets, so it's probably better for a shorter work session rather than a full-day stay. read more
Very fun new coffee spot in fremont. Service is fast. Tried a couple drinks to go on a rainy day and they were both pleasant. The Dew You Love Me was a favorite. Very strong honeydew flavor which was wonderful if you are like me and love melon. The Green Gold was good as well but the texture/consistency was slightly a miss for me. On one hand I really appreciate that there was ample banana and avocado in the drink but it was somewhat coagulated at the bottom/sides of the cup and harder to drink through the straw with the actual liquid. Would definitely go again and try more of the menu! read more
Disappointing items and way overpriced. I got the steak sandwich because it had ingredients like a banh mi, and it just tasted like mexican food lol. Not bad but $16 is crazy. Popcorn chicken was ok but also $10 for the amount in the photo. Same for the matcha, very average yet $8. Also, everything about this shop is AI af and just feels so fake, I don't even want to come here to do work because the tables are super small and there's no outlets. I do have to say that the people here are hardworking and nice, service for matcha was extremely fast while food took 5-10 minutes. read more
