After a 15-minute inspection, he ordered the necessary part and said he'd be back in two days. He returned as promised (after a text) and we were back and running before THREE DAYS BEFORE the Big Name local appliance store would have even shown up for the initial inspection. When I talked to him on the phone he told me what the issue was, a known issue with LG refrigerators. He came out anyway and gave me options on how we could fix it/ get a new fridge. Ultimately we wound up buying a new fridge due to the age of our old one, but I was very appreciative of Russ' timely service and honesty! Their repair guy said the problem was 'cosmetic' so the warranty company denied the claim & we are out an extra $100 for his 'service call'. And then he wanted $190 to come in and replace the glass that we have had to obtain on our own! He would not return my calls to even discuss the fact that this is a safety issue, not a cosmetic one!
