$12.95 for a breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, potatoes, onions, and your choice of meat! the sausage was flavorful (might be italian sausage?) and had a nice char. the bacon burrito on the other hand wasn't as exciting. glad they had condiments at tables to give them an extra kick of flavor. unfortunately, service was so slow. we waited 30 min for our burritos which was kind of a bummer, but they were filling! not my favorite place for a breakfast burrito in SF, esp given the long wait, but worth a try if you're in the neighborhood. i think they use american cheese in the burritos?? which was an odd pick and overpowered a lot of the other flavors imo. would've liked to see a monterey jack or blend instead. we saw a bunch of people get huge breakfast plates, so might have to try those someday. read more

The food was good. I ordered the JB breakfast which came with 3 eggs any way you like, bacon, sausage, ham, hashbrowns, and toast. For 17.95 plus tax. Everything but the hashbrowns were seasoned and delicious. The service was amazing. The lady is willing to answer all of your questions and they will modify items for you. There's no ambiance. The owner contacted me and asked me to come in and would make another sandwich for me and guaranteed that it would be much better. Well, I did, yesterday. I made a mistake in my rush to satiate my hunger and desire for a burger.  I failed to look up and see where I was supposed to order.  I ordered where I was suppose to pay.  My advise is to look up and order from the correct location.  The cashier was awesome and allowed me to order from him... I truly appreciate this. From order to food on table was only about 7 minutes pretty quick for a busy Saturday morning.   We sat outside to enjoy fresh air and room to stretch out. I ordered the Avocado Cheese Burger with American Cheese.  The meal comes with a side of thin crispy fries.  The burger was big and messy.  Very juicy and delicious.  The avocado was spread on the bottom bun.. that means, I get avocado in every bite.  Nice big slices of fresh juicy tomatoes and crispy lettuce gave a great contrast of textures. I've had excellent food here for lunch. Today was lasagna, salad, and garlic bread. I've also enjoyed the lunch specials. Service is quick and professional. There is usually on-street parking out front, and the cafe is easily accessed by freeways and arterial streets in the Potrero neighborhood. The food here is absolutely amazing! The staff is so kind, the owners are here everyday greeting you and are super accommodating to any food restrictions. I personally don't eat red meats usually and they accommodated to my vegan orders in the past. There's a wide variety of food options so there's definitely something for everyone. There's both American and Arab influence food options! Amazing!! The ambiance is that of a typical deli but it's very clean and well organized. Located near California College of the Arts, this was a popular place for my classmates and me. JB's sandwiches are known among all of us to be large and delicious. As a college student, this was the perfect place to eat, because the prices were reasonable. Even though it has been a long time since I was a student, I still come back here to eat a delicious sandwich. I like getting the pastrami sandwich or the egg, bacon, and avocado sandwich on a sliced sourdough bread. The ingredients are so fresh and warm. I will never eat here again. My friend and I got sick after eating lunch. Veggie burger and regular cheese burger respectively. I called to let them know about the situation and they were very defensive and aggressive. I believe we contracted Norovirus from unsafe food handling. It happens, I get it. When a customer calls you out of courtesy, don't tell them they took too long to call you. People are busy and no one wants to call a restaurant about getting sick there. It's not a fun conversation. I really love these kind of neighborhood lunch joints where everyone there seems to be a regular. They have really solid burgers and my favorite kind of fries (thin, crispy, fluffy!). The meat was flat but good portion about 5 pieces with onions, cucumbers, tomatoes in a huge piece of pita bread and a boatload of fries. Order first and then go to cashier to pay. I got the falafel wrap and the veggie (eggplant) sandwich with an iced coffee and Coke Zero. The wrap was very good but the veggie sandwich had a bit too much of balsamic vinaigrette. It was really drenched with it actually. You order at the right side of the shop and pay at the left side of the shop. This has to be hands down the BEST PLACE IN SF!!! Everything I mean everything is delicious and home made. This is a family business and you feel the love the second you walk in. My favorite is the tuna sandwich on sourdough. The garlic spread they make homemade should win an award. The service is impeccable always polite and friendly. Had their sorta cheesesteak and I say this because the beef was not as thinly sliced as a regular cheesesteak. But they don't market it that way and it's a pretty good sandwich! It's more like a steak sandwich with cheese and peppers. Maybe the emphasis is more on steak than cheese. read more
