Highly recommend Tony!! I called today at 8am and by 2pm he arrived to fix my Samsung top load washing machine within the hour. He is honest and knowledgeable- he knew exactly what the issue was within minutes. He also thankfully had all the tools and parts needed- saving even more time. Our GE stacked-on washer and dryer started leaking water. I texted Tony Garcia at America Technicians on Christmas Eve 2023 that I would need help with my washing machine after Christmas. He responded shortly thereafter and responded "OK". He reached out to me a few days later, gave me a two hour window in which he would be at my house, and was at the house when he said he would be. In addition, I asked him to wear a mask in the house and he had no problem doing so. I add this because there are some folks to whom this is important, AND it speaks to his character and agreeableness. Tony from American Technicians has helped us 3 times so far, and today will be the third time. When we moved in, the washer came with the house. When it broke, Tony came by and gave us recommendations, which was to just buy another washer as it would be more cost effective than spending all this money to fix it. We went with a brand that he recommended and are so far happy with the washer. Then, my husband tried to clean the oven for the first time and detached the electric coil from the inside, something sparked and then the whole range stopped working. He came by and it was really a flip of a switch that he did since it was a very minor problem, and everything worked again. It would also be a task since our current range is a slide in or drop in range that fits in a particularly small space, that they don't really make anymore. So when we have to replace our range, we will have to do a bit of construction, what a headache. Then the fridge that came with the house stopped being cold. He diagnosed the problem and then scheduled a time to fix the problem. We saved a lot of money because buying a new refrigerator would cost an arm and a leg. He said that the efficiency of our current fridge isn't that much different of a new fridge so I'm happy that I don't have the headache of picking out a new fridge. Now our dryer that came with the house is making a funny sound when turning it on so Tony will be coming by today to take a look at it. Tony is honest and is prompt with setting appointment times. I called him today, Saturday morning, and he is going to come this morning! What service! He charges a small flat fee for coming out and if there are repairs, then I believe it's waived. Not sure how I located this company, but I have used their services twice now. The first call was for service on a dryer several years ago and I recall that the serviceman was very nice and his work was thorough. He repaired the dryer for a nominal cost and included his rather low service call fee into the price for the repair. The repair also came with a one year warranty which I never used. The dryer is still working fine. My washer broke down this week, so I had Tony come out to repair it for me. First of all, I was able to get an appointment the very next day even though my call was placed after 5:00 PM. He then worked with me to establish a time that worked well for me and my work schedule. He arrived and not only recalled coming out to my home before, but the appliance that he repaired. That was a good feeling for me since it made me feel like a real customer and not just a number. At any rate, the problem was diagnosed quickly with one small catch; he did not have the replacement part with him. He apologized but said that he would return at my earliest convenience which would be 2 days later; so this was fine for me. He left and about 30 minutes later called to say that he had located the part and if I wanted him to return to finish the repair. I was elated, and of course let him come back to finish. It is now around 8:00 PM and he was back at my house within 20 minutes. About 15 minutes later, he was done. That is my idea of service! He went the extra mile to find the part and extend his work day well into the evening for me. My 11-year-old dishwasher was still cleaning dishes perfectly, but it was hard to turn on and off and finally became impossible. Based on Yelp reviews, I called America Technicians. Tony made an appointment to come by the next day. He analyzed the problem as the electronic circuit board. Unfortunately, it would require changing the whole board. He felt and I agreed that the price was not worth spending on this old machine. He charged me a very reasonable price for the service call, but I could apply it toward installation of a new machine, purchased either from him or elsewhere. I found a good deal elsewhere, and made the appointment with him to install it. He's very competent and honest, and I think is a one-man shop with no employees. That's why all reviews just mention him. He's easy to reach by phone, and will be my go-to man from now on for any appliance issues. Only problem for me, and why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that he takes cash or check only, no credit cards. I'll just also mention, he didn't give me any paperwork. Maybe if I had asked for a receipt, he would have given me one. I didn't ask, and he didn't give one. However, he guarantees work for a year, and I am completely confident he will honor that if necessary (and I doubt it will be necessary). read more

My Dishwasher and Oven stopped working 2months apart. Deciding I needed to contact an appliance repair service, I researched and researched for a smaller business that had great customer service. After many calls, I settled on Tony of America Technicians (not to be confused with American Technicians) because of the positive reviews he received as well as Tony's prompt phone calls and organization. He would have come on saturday, but I couldn't accommodate him, so he came the following monday. Tony even calls after hours, meaning after 5pm, monday -Saturday, unlike the larger companies that had call centers and voicemails. Tony called me after 5pm on the day I called him! Tony was prompt, phoned to confirm our appointment and diagnosed the dishwasher (I had mistakenly turned off the water supply for the dishwasher, so this was a quick fix for free!) and then just charged me $185 for the oven repair, for parts and it included a 1 year warranty (this is standard). He took about 3 minutes to diagnosis and 20 minutes for the repair (he had the parts in his truck). He even cleaned up the burnt debris in my oven too. Most importantly, the price was very good and he was accurate and fixed the problem. In the past, I have used other companies that have charged me $65 for the service call and then charged me on top of that for the repair and parts w/no warranty. And these other companies have even had to come back 2 or 3 times before they got it right. I would strongly recommend that you call Tony of America Technicians, it was refreshing to find such a great company who really cares about their customers and doing a great job for a fair price. I learned that Tony was trained by his father and that they have accounts all over the San Gabriel, San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles Areas.
