I…read morebrought them my truck KNOWING it needed a transmission replacement or rebuild because they would not give me any kind of quote over the phone, just for them to "diagnose" and tell me it needs a transmission. They told me that they DO NOT rebuild transmissions, they are ONLY willing to replace them with transmissions from a second company whose transmissions are double the price of a factory transmission. They then quoted me almost $8000 to replace my transmission, which any mechanic can pull and replace a transmission for less than Olympic Transmissions. So they charged me $150 just to tell me what I already knew. I highly recommend Thurston county transmission just down the street. They quoted me over the phone less than the cost of Olympics transmission alone to actually rebuild my transmission like to an upgraded heavy duty transmission with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. In my opinion this is a terrible way to run a business and are just scamming people out of a $150 diagnostic fee. They should not claim to be a transmission shop if they aren't even able to rebuild transmissions and only install another company's grossly overpriced transmissions that don't even come with a lifetime warranty like Thurston County Transmission offers for a fraction of the price.
