I have been a customer for years. I had an appointment that I made months ago for a tune up on the burner. The tech said it was leaking and he cleaned it but couldn't fit behind the burner to fix it and didn't have time he had other calls to go on. I called the office to make an appointment for next week for someone to fix it and the nasty woman on the phone said they aren't fixing those issues they are too busy!!?!? I paid them in full and want it done correctly not too much to ask. The burner wasn't leaking before he serviced it and now they won't fix it. I asked to speak to the owner and the woman sarcastically said she would give him the message. Terrible way to do service no wonder their reviews are awful!! Horrible customer service. Been a loyal customer for years for a commercial building ordering thousands of dollars worth of oil. But recently very disappointed with the service and unprofessional of this company. For starters I order a delivery and it was scheduled for th day. As a commercial property we have certain hours of operation and hours that nobody is in the building. So we need to know ahead of time an arrival time to have someone there. Well that day I call early in the morning and gave me an eta of 10:00 am perfect I go at 10:00 waited nobody show up . I call again and said in the next hour . Waiting and waiting nobody show . Call again they said the same thing the driver is going to be there in the next hour . Waiting and waiting , long story short I didn't receive the delivery till like 7:30 pm wasted an entire day I couldn't afford rescheduling for another day because second storm coming and it was the coldest week of the year we needed the fuel. Whatever is fine I even help the driver remove snow and prepare it so he can get access to the cap. I let that slide. I would've been okay if they said they were arriving at 7:30 pm but the fact they told me 10:00 am and had me wait all day on false hope the driver was an hour away is unacceptable and very unprofessional. Now we call again to get a little more oil. We scheduled for Monday. They know is commercial and they need to call ahead of time. (They been delivering to us for years). They call when they already there at 8:30 am. Mind you last time they had me waiting all day for no reason now they show up unannounced. I call them back if the driver can go back today or even later the same day day is fine . They denied it and put me for the following day. At this point I'm frustrated how they handled everything. I demand a discount nothing crazy just something for the inconvenience. They agree . Now Tuesday they call saying driver is 30 minutes away. Perfect I made my way to the building , I wait 45 minutes and driver hasn't arrived yet again , now I'm scare is going to be the same situation and going to waste a whole day. I call they affirm me the driver is soon to arrive , I ask about the new price with the discount they said their is no discount I'm transfer over to the supervisor who also said no discount after I explain the situation and the frustration of the last two deliveries I had with them. Any good business will see that we pay them every time and not small order thousands of dollars worth of oil every year. And that they have been unprofessional recently, to keep the customer happy a small discount is the least they could do . Nothing crazy even if they said 10 dollars of for the inconvenience I would be happy cause atleast they care . But no not even that instead I get an attitude from the supervisor saying there is no discount for you , you want the delivery or not ? Like they could care less . Expected more from a "family own business " . The driver arrive as was in the middle of the call so I said okay is fine we will pay full price. We got the oil but not happy at all with how they work definitely will not be ordering from here again and I recommend you don't either. Zero stars read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I've been a loyal customer for many years. I had a house fire last year and could not renew my contract. As my house is being restored 2 plummers looked at my oil burner and advised me of things that were wrong. I called to have JC look up my service records. IMMEDIATELY the rude woman , Lisa, is defending JC without even knowing the full story. She wouldn't let me talk-kept talking over me while she said I was talking over her. She accused me of things and told me I'm stupid. I started recording the call because I couldn't believe how rude, belligerent, and nasty this "CUSTOMER SERVICE " person was.!!!!! Then to top it off she first refused to give her name and hung up on me!!!! I called back to get her name. What an attitude!!!! She should not be dealing with the public. She should go take a remedial CUSTOMER SERVICE course!!! Apparently the office employees who take the phone calls, especially Lisa, is not well versed on dealing with the public! My experience with JC Discount is terrible! The people who work there are rude, and it is very sad. I scheduled an oil delivery and the driver was completely rude and out of his mind. He damaged our property with no care or caution around sensitive plants in the garden. When spoken to, the driver through a fit, and left us dry with no oil. We really needed it. What is worse is that I called a day in advance and they told me after 1pm the driver would arrive, he got there early and he was mad that he waited less than 10min. When we called the company to complain they didn't resolve the issue and left us with no oil stating that the drivers behavior will be dealt with on Monday ( Today is Friday ) I will never trust this company! read more

They charged my card twice on the same day for high amounts after explaining to them the damage they have done with messing up my banking and receiving multiple overdraft charges the nasty woman said that she shouldn't be crucified mistakes happen and there is nothing she can do as if she is the victim. They've come when I've had problems pretty quick. That being said, a friend of mine has burner problems and JC Discount not only cancelled the contract but also won't sell them oil. I have been using them for over 7 years now for oil deliveries only. I replaced my boiler and tank and still only used this company for oil, nobody else. Their oil turns into sludge and is very dirty with debris. The fuel line keeps getting clogged with dirt and debris. NEVER EVER get your oil here. Myself and my husband called them about the problem and the women are nasty, abrupt, and uneducated (nicer to say than plain old stupid). Was transferred to their dopey serviceman who insisted I needed to change the nozzle and have the burner serviced. We already had it serviced and replaced the nozzle numerous times in a 2 week period directly after getting our last dirt filled oil delivery. I ordered 300 Gallons. I have a 550 Gallons tank. JC Discount driver dropped less then 200 Gallons but print me a ticket for full 300 Gallons and charged my credit card full price. I have an actual measuring stick for this specific tank that shows exactly how many gallons I have. We had used them for over a decade, and called them on a thursday for fuel, they said the couldnt get anyone over to us until saturday, shocking, but whatever I need oil, so I ask them for a time frame to expect the delivery on saturday and am told between 12-3. They send a driver at 7:50 am, when no one is around to pay for it, and dont call to authorize charging my card, and have the audacity to tell me I must now wait to tuesday. Extremely happy today with the service I received. I recently moved to an oil heated home from gas and when Matt showed up to do my tune and clean, I hovered over him, watching him, asking a million questions. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me, explaining on a level I could understand. He even adjusted my oil gauge for me that was hung up inside the tank. He was polite, knowledgeable and professional. I had used JCs before for fuel delivery but this was the first time I used them for service. I used this company to do a oil furnace tune up. The guys changed a nozzle and filter. The soot and crud from years of no oil furnace service is still in the furnace. I called the company after the technicians left and the representative told me that the technicians were supposed to brush then open the furnace to vacuum the debris. When I told her that the technicians never opened the furnace she later backtracked and told me that was not included in the tune up. RIP0FF! read more
