Had a scheduled oil delivery which took 3 days to get due to snow storm…read more We had an empty oil tank due to closing on the house a few days prior and previous owner left very little oil in tank. The day of delivery, the driver said he couldn't get down the block to deliver oil because he didn't think the road was plowed well enough. The road was plowed well and not icy at all. They said they would try again the next day. Since we took off work to be there the day before we requested a call to give a time. We got a call saying we were next stop. Since we were 30 mins away, we asked if they could give us some time to get there. We were 10 mins away and driver would not wait or come back. We were then told they would not come back for 3 more days. We were told someone had to be there with cash for delivery. We were not told we could use credit card and not have to be there. The woman who answered phone was very rude and unsympathetic and did not take complaint seriously. Would never use this company! Buyer beware. Management should listen to the way their employees speak to customers and work on service issues

We have well water and have been losing the water pressure on and off for the past month. Finally 5…read moredays ago we lost water completely. Decided to go with city water and requested some quotes from suggested companies. Suffolk Water Connection responded within hours and were at our house the next day to look at our property and begin working. We had water the same day! They were a great bunch of people to deal with in such a stressful situation! Frank Jr. turned our nightmare into such a wonderful experience. They were quick, friendly and he gave me such great advise on so many things I knew nothing about! We now have water and I can't thank them enough! If anyone ever needs any kind of plumbing done, I recommend them VERY HIGHLY. Thank you Frank Jr and your crew for an amazing job!

And that, my friends, requires oil to run many a boiler. AM Fuel Oil Company offers wonderful customer service. Our family rang this frigid morning as - oops - we forgot to check the oil level in the basement reader. Zoom zoom zip! Lick-ity split Jimmy scheduled us in. Promptly at 1pm his pleasant smile greeted us behind frosty windows. (Dude. I was Popsicle level cold.) Having never looked at a boiler or the associated oil tank I asked for a lesson. Yes. Anyhoo, a lesson was provided. The fuel gauge was cleaned. And poor Jimmy returned to the outside cold to add oil. Blessedly Jimmy was patient with my ignorance. He skipped down to the basement and restarted our boiler. (It is my parent's. I just lived here for ~twenty years during formative years.) Jimmy pumped the air out of the boiler - explaining this in simpleton terms - without making me feel the fool I am. AM Fuel Oil Co. also offers on demand service visits. If you're out of town and need them to help with the Moms & Pops - they'll do it! Good people.

The morning of our appointment, I was called and whoever I spoke to at the time stated they had a bunch of emergencies that day and could not make it. I stated that I wanted to start a contract with him, I was told since my family has been using them for years that the first year our contract would of been complimentary and not to worry about someone coming out, that if we had a problem to just call him. NOTHING was stated that we had to sign up for auto deliveries. Now that we had a leak with our boiler, I am being told we have no contract. Very unprofessional.
