On the day, the crew (Cesar, Jeff and Jaime) arrived on time at my door and were very efficient in getting everything loaded on their truck, while being very friendly. At the destination, they were as efficient, everything was quickly unloaded and put in its place and they also took great pain to place a couch into a room where it barely fit through the door. I adore JC Moving and every employee I've interacted with there over the years. They handled all of my local Los Angeles moves and I was lucky enough to work with Beatrice and Edgar every time. When you reach out you'll get a response from Beatrice or Jaime. They are very quick to respond and extremely friendly. Beatrice has also remembered me from my moves over the years and I have always appreciated that! I also discovered that Beatrice and Jaime are a husband and wife team who run the business! JC Moving has pretty flexible schedules and very competitive rates for the area. Beatrice will always reconfirm your move a day or two before and provide you with arrival time and the movers names. On the day of the movers always arrive a little early and are truly at your disposal. If you need more packed or unpacked than expected they'll gladly help. If you need to stop at goodwill they'll do it. I've also received tons of moving tips such as how to best pack your boxes and prepare for your movers so that they can do the job as quickly and safely for you as possible. They also provide fun conversation! Definitely a chatty group if you're open to it :) I've now moved out of LA and used JC Moving in August for this last move and felt the company deserved an A+ review. If I could leave zero stars I would. Tony walked my place gave me an estimate and then showed up for 2 minutes and left. The guys destroyed our file cabinets 2 desks and who knows what I haven't found yet. Then ARGUED I DID IT. "IT WAS LIKE THAT". - we are an 88 years old company - everything they moved was an investment and important and they didn't destroy it - they didn't protect almost anything - except the things I requested be wrapped with my own moving blankets. I paid THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR THIS?!? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The boss is worthless. They take over an hour a lunch and charge you for it. I was understanding until when I said we have to be more careful they told me it was already like that. Look I get things can get damaged- but don't act like it wasn't you. Needed help, sort of last minute, and they were more then willing to help and were available when I needed them. I got two guys and a truck for $125/hr plus 5% fuel charge which is a very good price. The guys were very friendly and efficient. We were completely done in 4 hrs. Nothing broken and they assembled everything before leaving. In the past, I had moved my personal belongings on my own and for this past move from a storage unit to a new place I realized I needed to hire a moving company for the first time. I was recommended JC Moving from a Storage facility which had been amazing to me so I quickly called them up and dealt with Beatrice who was wonderful and was fair with pricing. On moving day the 3 man team showed up on time and assessed with me the moving details quickly and efficiently. I had mostly packed boxes and furniture. My furniture is mostly vintage mid century modern and the workers took great care in wrapping the fragile pieces in blankets for the move. Fully mirrored pieces of furniture were wrapped in blankets and cardboard which impressed me. I felt comfortable leaving the movers finish up the job while I headed off to my new place to get it ready for them to load in. They arrived and took several trips up a 30 foot staircase with ease. I can go 0 star if it allows. We moved from an one bed room apartment. I called to get a quote. The estimate was for 3 - 4 hour only. It sounded reasonable to me. It turned out to be 7 hours! These guys literally held only 2 items per trip from the apartment to their truck. I had a wagon and offered them to haul the stuff. They didn't want to. Overcharged by the tapes they used as well. I bought some. They refused to use mine so that they could charge me for the additional $$. They requested a tip so frequently that it made me annoyed at the end. read more

When the men from white glove turned up they not only cost me a fortune but also could not complete the job at hand- telling me the job was impossible. Such a waste of time and money. I cannot tell you how unorganized the owner was. They were quick to schedule us & though all boxes were ready to go, it took them close to 6 hours and STILL WERE lagging behind. They weren't going to finish unloading their last load unless I paid them before they finished! Before I lost my cool, the owner said either PAY, or, ' we KEEP your stuff' I asked him 'why?' And he said because they were working overtime Since this wasn't my fault, I told him he.Couldn't hold my belongings hostage...he didn't like being told what to do and became even more non communicative! I wouldn't refer this guy to anyone!! He took PHOTOS of my things so I couldn't prove he broke anything! As if he were ready to have to refund me!! Also, they took all clothing boxes back so ALL CLOTHING HAD TO BE TAKEN OUT so he! could have them back!! Buyer beware and they overcharged!!!! read more

Used this company twice. First time not an issue. We just from one unit to another. Second time we moved to Corona. His movers got lost even though we gave the address. Took an 1 hour 1/2 for them to get to our place. Broke a few items still not a big deal. But what made me write this negative review is they charged us more than what we originally agreed on. J.C.'s reason was "I didn't know that my guys were supposed to bring the furniture in the house I thought it was in the garage only." Who brings furniture only in the garage and not inside the house?
