From there, he coordinated with PG&E, handled the permitting process, and got the city inspection completed within two days, something that is extremely rare in a situation like this. The guy at the counter took one look at it, disappeared into the back and returned with its replacement! I laughed; we laughed - I was relieved not to have to change out the entire fixture! On a side note, one of the great things about this place is that they accept lightbulbs for recycling. I have been coming here for quite a while doing this (the big retailers don't do that anymore), and recently switched out all of my fluorescent bulbs for LED ones in the garage and kitchen.
