It's alright. There are a lot better burgers in town. This place gets a lot of business due to the location. Very below average burger.

Currently my favorite shakes in town, been so for about 6 years now. I like them better than Iceberg shakes. I hardly ever order anything else here, but when I do, I go for the chicken strip baskets - big pieces, get lots of sauce to dip in. I can only eat a size small shake now before I am full, sometimes not even that. Mini is a good size. Favorite shake is peanut butter, with either cookie dough or chocolate chips mixed in. read more

This was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered a mushroom burger, my son had the Hawaiian burger. It was about 8 pm, no more than 1/3 of the tables were occupied, and only 2-3 people in line to order...yet it took about 20 min to get our food. Both of us were disappointed in our burgers. The thin hamburger patty had to be of the frozen variety since it sure didn't resemble real hamburger. Not good when the lettuce and tomato taste better than the burger!! I had a taste for onion rings, so shortly after our burgers finally arrived, my son went back to order some -- no line, so it was quick to order. However, once again, we waited a long time before the order was brought to the table, by that time we'd finished our burgers and were sitting there waiting. The onion rings were another disappointment. Not only was the batter hard and too crispy, but the batter was flavorless. $4 for a bag of rings, and I wound up getting rid of most of that tasteless crust, and eating the onion with little crust. My son has purchased shakes there and liked them, but neither of us would bother ordering burgers there again. read more

I've enjoyed everything I've eaten there, but it has the longest wait at drive thru in the valley. I would suggest to always plan to go inside and sit down. My impression from being there multiple times is that the employees don't take speed seriously. read more

Good food. Better then many fast food chains. However, their prices reflect this as well. I ordered Blue bacon cheese burger as a small and it was around $10.00. $6.00 for the burger and $3.50 for small fries and drink. The bacon was nice and thick (not the bacon flavored paper other places serve). Hamburger meat was about the same as any other place. Fries were better then most places, thick and fluffy on the inside. Decor of the interior was very nice. Very warm and clean. One additional note: My friend "upgraded" his order to medium. No where on the bill was this shown... but the total was just $.40 more. So if you add the charges up, they are $.40 less then the total. Very misleading from a business not to be transparent in their charges. Lowering to 3 stars for this reason. 2 stars mainly because it's expensive and the quality is only slightly better then 90% of the fast food places out there. Nothing to write home about. read more

It's not fine dining but it still one of the best old-fashioned burger places in town and their chicken fingers kids meal is amazing! Don't go through the drive-thru. It took 30 minutes to get through. Once I finally got my food it was cold as well. The young man that provided the service didn't apologize for the inconvenience or the cold food. So I had to talk with someone else to get it remedied. Another co worker of his was able to put in another order and I had to wait another 5 minutes. Luckily I didn't have to work or I would have been late getting back. read more

I had heard about JCW's from a friend that has an amazing palette so I was anxious to give it a try. It's like the best of Training Table and Crown/Apollo burger at a better price. I've had a few of their burgers now, and have been impressed with all of them. I'm a big fan of their pastrami burger. Their pastrami is leaner than comparable burgers and they grill it. The result is more flavor and less grease. They also have a hickory sauce that goes great on it, and tastes great on fries too. read more

Oh man I love JCW! This place has some seriously awesome burgers. My favorite is the one with jalapeno. Or the guacamole one. The food was fine although it wasn't anything exceptional for me. But I have to admit that the whole experience was tainted by the fact that getting food from the drive thru took about 30 minute! No joke - it literally took that long which is completely unexcuseable for a drive thru. Next time I think I'll go to Red Robin and get faster service for about the same price. read more

Has anyone ever been through the drive through at jcw's and not waited Atleast 30 minutes for your order? "That will be $14.95 at the next window, please pull up to lane number 7 to your right". I love hearing that through the intercom as I go through the drive up. Pulling up to the drive through window at Jcw's is similar to getting on the freeway at the lehi exit during rush hour and navigating your way over to the car pool lane. With that being said, I can't complain about the amount of ice cream I received. I ordered a kid sized grasshopper shake and they must have thought I ordered a shake for a kid sized grizzly bear. I only made it half way through the shake before I realized I was asleep on my couch and waking up randomly with no feelings in my arms. Upon waking up I immediately had slings placed on both of my arms to keep them elevated for I feared the beginning stages of Gout were setting in. I am writing this review to let everyone know that I have fully recovered after eating only half of a kid sized shake from jcw's. read more

Great location, hate the parking lot and I love their onion rings. This place is a decent competitor with places like Crown Burger, Apollo/Astro Burger etc. A very similar menu, just done a little differently. I think I prefer the others burgers but their onion rings are awesome and other items are really good as well. You just have to take a chance as see how it turns out. read more

This is our 'go to' for fast take out near our house. I always get the fish-n-chips, and my husband usually gets the chicken bacon sandwich. Once in a while the fries have been disappointing, but most of the time they are hot and tasty. Sometimes we dine in if we are going out with the kids, and they love going there too. read more

Decided to try JCW's today because I had heard good things about them. Pulled in and took a couple mins to decide what I had wanted and ordered. Once I pulled up, I waited for the attendant/cashier to walk up and grab my payment. The attendant proceeded to walk past my car and start checking out all the guests behind me. I waited for 7 mins before the attendant walked up and asked for my card. No conversation or "hello" just walked up and grabbed payment and then walked away. I was asked to then pull up towards the end of driveway after he brought the food out for the guest behind me so she could pull out and leave. I then proceeded to wait another 15 mins for my food to come out. The food wasn't hot, it was slightly warm meaning that most likely it had been sitting for a good few minutes. I work as a server in a restaurant and I was severely under-impressed with not only the service I was given, but the quality of food considering that the prices are very high and the food wasn't that great of quality. Got a Hawaiian chicken sandwich today and the chicken was over cooked and just not that great. I don't think I'll be coming back to JCW's based on this experience cause I could pay about the same money and have a nice sit-down meal. read more

Had a hard time with ordering. I asked if the halibut was ground and shaped into fish sticks. They didn't understand what I was talking about. So I ordered, and found it to be over cooked and dry. Why doesn't anyone do a proper fish and chips? Dry Fish? Gross! Fries were also over done. There is an optimal time for cooking things. Since each piece were different sizes, you need to "hawk"the fryer looking for a specific color. read more

I agree with the reviews that the food is great and the employees are slow! They need to take a lesson from Chick-fil-a! When we finally made it through the line to order, the cashier offered no greeting, just looked at us. After we ordered, we had a hard time finding a clean table, and finally cleaned one off ourselves. The floor had garbage all over it. I felt our food came out fairly quickly, but we had to wait quite awhile for our shake. I am giving 3 stars because the food is good, but they lose two for cleanliness and speed read more

If you want to go here, please plan on making it a day long adventure. The speed is ridiculously slow. We went through the drive through and it still took almost 30 minutes with only two cars ahead. The food my kids got was ok, they had corn dogs, which is hard to mess up, so they seemed to like them. I got the gyro, and I must say, this was the single worst food item I've ever received, and I've eaten in war zone dining facilities. It was three small slices of lukewarm "meat" that tasted more like a hotdog than gyro meat on a really soggy pita with a grainy tomato and so much white sauce it was a mess. I took a few bites and couldn't eat the rest. My wife was ok with her salad, but thought it was a little expensive for nothing more than iceberg lettuce with a little sliced lunch meat. My wife and eat at JCW's at least twice a month. I was interested in reading the negative comments, and could not disagree more. I have never left JCW unsatisfied. My favorites burgers are the bacon bluecheese and the Double Cheese burger. We usually order one burger in a meal with the large drink and cheese fries (to die for) and the 2nd burger separately, so our dinner comes to $17 and we can usually not finish the meal. I have loved JCWs ever since they came to Utah. The first one I went to was the Thanksgiving Point location and they were and still are the best. I went to the 106th S location to get my weakness the hot fudge pecan shake and they told me they don't have pecans anymore. Bummer! read more

JCW's is normally awesome, though my last experience was horrible. The bacon and burger were burnt, so all I could taste was the char. It was supposed to be a guacamole bacon burger, but I never tasted the guacamole on the half I ate. Yes, I only ate half, because I don't like the taste of burnt meat. The shake was awesome, like normal. Just a big disappointment that this location is so bad, I'll go back to the AF location instead. read more
