I was attending an anime convention at the Radisson over the weekend, and they handled the huge amount of over-excited people really well and with a smile.

Staff are quick to help with orders or questions, but they're quite busy! They have some small or sharing options as food, but it's mostly cocktail focused. Great selections for drinks, very well made. Some fun and unique options - see menu. Had 2 different cocktails and tried a 3rd, just wonderfully mixed with lively flavors and nice presentation. Also had some of their small notes - pickles and another - both devoured quickly by our table. Great spot, thanks.

The service was okay, the Hostess was quick to find us a table which was awesome since we were a party of six, so that was super appreciated. We sat down and drink orders were pretty quick but they did take awhile, which shows that they really do make everything from scratch. Their drink menu had some really cool, unique drinks on it and I honestly wanted to try them all. If they had a flight, I would have absolutely not been able to say no. We were super impressed with their bourbon selection, and they actually had pretty good prices too, so we were able to try some great options. It was the perfect night cap for our group to indulge in one last drink before bed. Awesome spot to chill and chit chat.

A friend highly recommended Crown Tavern, and I can honestly say the food was outstanding. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and the drinks were great as well. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our waitress made us feel neglected and overlooked throughout the evening. For a meal that came to over $220, I expected a much better dining experience. It wasn't just slow service--it felt like we were forgotten at times. I did speak with the restaurant manager, Zach, and I truly appreciate how he handled the situation. He listened, was sincere, apologized, and genuinely cared about our experience. His professionalism left a positive impression, and I'm grateful he took the time to address our concerns. Crown Tavern has an incredible kitchen and serves amazing food, which is why it's disappointing that the service didn't reflect the same standard. I sincerely hope this is addressed because I'd hate for other guests to leave feeling the way we did. If I were rating the food alone, it would easily be 5 stars. Unfortunately, because service is such an important part of the overall experience, I have to give this visit 3 stars. I truly hope our next visit reflects the quality that the food already delive

McGarvey's... Oh McGarvey's…read more.. I really don't have anything bad to say about McGarvey's. I also really don't have anything good to say about McGarvey's either. It's just kind of... there. McGarvey's is like that one Uncle at family get togethers that just kind of sits on the couch and watches TV the whole time. No one really pays any attention to him, but they all love him. Everyone has better things to do than to watch TV with him, but everyone finds themself sitting on the couch watching TV with him at some point throughout the gathering. That's McGarvey's. Is it anyone's "go-to" bar in Manchester? Probably not. But does everyone love it and find themselves there at some point during the night? Probably not. But this review isn't about other people, It's about me. I don't care if other people don't like McGarvey's (I'm looking at you, Anthony A.) And I don't really care if the bartenders charge an extra $0.50 for rude behavior (I'm looking at you, Anthony A.) And most of all I don't care if people don't want to go there. I do. I want to go there. I do go there. All the time. In fact, I find myself at McGarvey's all the time. When I do go there, it's all the time. I practically live at McGarvey's, that's how much I go there. All the time. I usually go to McGarvey's maybe once a week. I can't really say I'm there all the time, but from the times I have been there, I was. However, I've been there enough to come to know, on a first name basis, all the bartenders that work there. There's this one bartender, I can't remember his name, but he has a bunch of tattoos and everyone loves him. Cream of the crop kind of guy. There's this other bartender there and I can't remember her name either, but she's definitely there too. All the time. Now at this point you may be asking yourself: "Why am I still reading this review?" The pool table at McGarvey's is also really one of a kind. There's an identical one next to it as well. Two pool tables, 12 pockets, 32 balls... Sounds like a great time, right? Wrong. But I don't play pool so can you really take my word for it? Nope. But if I did play pool, would I enjoy playing on these tables? More than likely, yes. The pub's motto is: "What happens at McGarvey's stays at McGarvey's". I personally don't think that's their actual motto because no one has ever said it besides me, nonetheless, it rings true. What happens at McGarvey's stays at McGarvey's because by the next morning, you won't remember anything that happened at McGarvey's... But the bartenders will. They remember everything. And you know where they stay? At McGarvey's. All the time. Speaking from experience, here's a list of things you may bump into at McGarvey's: The counter The doors The pool table Chairs People The trash can More doors More people The urinal (Male) The urinal (Female) (Don't ask) JV The pillars The bouncer (He will not give you a hug) (Don't ask) I've never come out of McGarvey's without a few bruises. Whether it be from running into things because I'm drunk, tripping over everything because I'm drunk, or telling everyone they have something on their shirt then doing the little nose flick thing then they punch me in the head because I'm drunk, I always leave looking quite black and blue. Overall, I will definitely be going to McGarvey's again. I'm there right now, actually. But the point of this review is to help determine if YOU should go to McGarvey's. So let me just say this: If you come to McGarvey's, you definitely should... All the time.

These were served with a pea and bacon risotto whose rich flavors matched the meatballs perfectly and the accompanying crisped breads balanced texture for the perfect combo. The pork belly tostadas had a great combination of toppings that gave them a fresh feel and almost made pork belly feel healthy, and the popover short rib dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. This one wasn't my dish, but I managed to snag a nibble and may be ordering it next time if they decide to add it to the regular menu. So good! The dishes were a nice size, leaving room for desert, and the fresh fruit meringue was an excellent finale. The restaurant itself is small, with a bar and just a handful of indoor tables. They had 4 more tables outside, however, which would be great on slightly cooler days. The indoor window seat we got was comfortable and the whole place had a cozy, friendly feel. Service was top notch, from a greeting as we entered to constant attention - we never really noticed our slightly small (bar style) table as all the dishes were cleared so quickly. I loved this place and will probably have to keep returning until I've tried the whole menu. I'm definitely hoping to try the outdoor tables next if weather permits.
