After my insurance company caused complications that led to First Call terminating the job which I understood, I received an invoice in May of last year. I paid that balance in full with two separate checks within two weeks. I have the receipts, the copies of the checks, and the bank statements showing exactly when First Call cashed them. After a full year of zero communication, I woke up today to a voicemail and email threatening to send me to collections within 48 hours. They claimed they had been "trying to reach me" for 12 months, which is untrue. I checked my call logs and my email history; there was absolutely nothing. When I called and provided my proof of payment and the exact dates they cashed my checks, they admitted the "error" was simply because someone forgot to check a box in their system. It is incredibly stressful and offensive to have your credit threatened because a company can't be bothered to check their own bank deposits before sending out threats. As a veteran, I live by a standard of integrity and doing your due diligence. Relying on a "checked box" as the Bible instead of doing actual research is lazy and unprofessional. Do better, not just for your customers, but for the reputation of the guys out there doing the actual work.

Last night I saw a giant rat run across my garage so now I've paid $3500 to hazmat clean the 1/2 my garage but still have a rat infestation. I'm now working with a rat removal service but before A2Z allowed me to hire them & get in contract they should have advised me to be sure to complete the proper step beforehand of ensuring the rat infestation was resolved. Now i'm out $3500 for an unnecessary garage cleaning and still have a rat infestation. As a new homeowner (or any homeowner) I'd assume a good business would make sure I've done the pre work (in this case rat infestation elimination) before accepting the job. That's in my view a shitty thing to have done to me as the client. Really disappointed because they seemed professional throughout the process. So for this reason of not holistically proactively making sure the proper prep was done I cannot rate this business any higher than a 2 star. I'm not angry I am however very disappointed and feel that I've been tricked. I cannot recommend this business.

As I said, the work was well done but if you use this service make sure and get a full estimate by someone on site before getting the work done.

My house was going on the market and needed a bleach spot in the carpet repaired right away. I called Capital Carpet Cleaning because of it's reviews. They actually answered the phone. Travis was very accommodating with my time limit and came right out. Travis addressed all of my concerns and questions. He was very meticulous when repairing the carpet and did a fantastic job! A few weeks later, my daughter spilled some RED cough medicine on the living room rug. We managed to get it out with some store bought carpet cleaning spray, but totally didn't know that it had seeped underneath to the carpet. About a week later when removing the carpet to pack, we saw a big RED stain on the carpet. In a panic we grabbed all the carpet cleaning sprays in the house and began to scrub. IT WOULD NOT COME OUT!!!! I waited a couple more days and tried again to no avail. So, I called Travis and asked him to see if he could get the stain out or repair the carpet again. I was certain that he wouldn't be able to get it out...after all, it was RED dye that had been there for some time already. He started working and I went to go check on his progress and...."WHAT!?, you got the stain out!?" Travis got the stain out, I couldn't believe it! It was as if it was never there! They educated us on how his products conditioned in addition to cleaning our carpet & Upholstery. They provided instructions on how to care/maintain the carpet to keep it cleaner longer, to keep it soft and fluffy and what improves the overall lifetime of the carpet. We also had ripples in our bedroom where the carpet has shifted over the years and we thought we would have to replace the carpet but Travis also provides a service where they can fix that and straighten it out with no problem. WAIT... DID I MENTION THE PRODUCTS??? We have a pet and occasionally have accidents and Travis provided us with a carpet spot remover that works like MAGIC! Although Capital's business hours are closed on Sundays, we were still able to call on Sunday and make an appointment, for the next day! We were in a jam trying to move out and find a time to schedule professional cleaning in such short notice. Travis, the owner, came personally. He was on time, explained how he came up with our quote, explained in detail the chemicals and machines he uses and how they benefit the carpet and my family. I now know the importance of having quality cleaning for carpets, furniture, and even mattresses. He explained the health and safety benefits of having these routinely cleaned. The price was affordable and the work was impeccable! You have to keep in mind that you get what you pay for, and if you decide to go with a cheap company, odds are the quality work won't be great and the you chance of them leaving soap and residue in your carpets is high. Being new too an area, you never know what quality of work you'll find, what price will be fair or if somebody is going to try to rip you off. I had heard excellent things about Travis Moore and Capital, but was still a little skeptical. Well that passed very fast. Travis and his Crew were not only there on time, but very professional, explained the cleaning process to me, answered all my questions and quoted me a very fair and reasonable price. They never pressured me, offered names of other clients and just made me feel very comfortable. As for the work itself, the cleaning was better than I could have hoped for. Everything was spotless. It was obvious that Travis and his crew took great pride in doing the job perfectly. My daughter highly recommended Travis at Capital Carpet Cleaning so I hired him to come out and clean my carpets about a year ago. He explained everything he was going to do without a sales pitch which was truly appreciated. He did a great job in getting my very old carpet cleaned to perfection in a timely manner. I called him again last week to clean my sofas and easy chair. He arrived with the 2 workers who were going to do the job. Again, they did a great job...except for some spots on one of the pleats at the bottom of my easy chair. When I called about it, Travis came out himself and took care of it very quickly. My son and I had decided to have his wall to wall carpets cleaned and Travis was called in for an estimate. His pricing was good and it was not difficult to chose Capital Carpet Cleaning to do the job. Travis was prompt, using time efficiently. The end result was excellent. While he was there I asked him about cleaning an area 9 X 12 area rug that had been ruined with dog urine... to say the rug was ready for the trash is putting it mildly! However, Travis said he could save it and got busy doing so. An hour later the rug was clean, dog smell free and drying... could not believe it. I had Travis an his guys come over to clean my carpets a few months ago. Prior to that I had been using Pristine carpet cleaning. I realized after I had Travis come in and clean that my carpets weren't really cleaned before. They explained the whole process to me and showed me what to do if I get any spots on the carpet in the next few months. It's been 6 months and the carpet still looks the same as when Travis and his guys came. She and her team absolutely get after it! I did some research before narrowing it down to the top 2 companies. I called Koren first as she had also been recommended by some neighbors as well. A competitor had a website where you could book appointments and secure cleanings for certain parts of the house. It was a little much for me and led to more questions, thus my call to Koren first. I explained the Sq Footage in my home, the layout of the lower and upper levels, how many stairs as well as the loft. She explained the processes she and her team go through and answered most of my questions that I would have asked. We booked an appointment, she said she would text me an hour before, and she kept her word! We had a few older stains and a few recent and she and her team made our entire carpet look new with no more stains!! Her price after researching and inquiring with Koren was very fair and the work they do justifies the expense. I told her and her team, as they were packing up, that they "are the hardest working, most thorough team that has ever cleaned our carpets, EVER!".
