Laser facials are the way to go. It's quick and feels really good. Think of it like a warm hug for your face. The best dermatologist in nyc is Dr Ferzli. She is patient, kind and informative. My skin gets so dull in the winter. The laser facials really give me a glow so much that I don't even use foundation. Being that I have dark skin lasers can be tricky but I trust my doctor and always get great results. Now, about the Botox! I've never been happier and love what I see in the mirror. Great Hydrafacial with Malika! I hadn't had extractions since starting tratinoin (2+ years ago!) and had a lot of congestion especially around my nose: she did a really thorough job at getting rid of any speck of congestion, and the facial itself was soothing and hydrating. Merve has completely transformed my skin and given my confidence back! When I met her a couple months ago, I was using oral and topical medication for adult acne, and my skin was horrible. I was thinking of starting accutane, but I made the appointment at Tribeca Medspa as a last attempt. Merve was warm and felt like a friend from the very beginning. She gave me hope and detailed information at the free consultation, so I started treatments right away. I did a couple laser genesis sessions, VI peel, and at home skincare, and my skin CLEARED - acne free with texture improvement after about only 2.5 months. Treatment I was prescribed for my skin condition just straight up didnt work. I was told it's a very common problem with a simple fix and was ASSURED that it would be gone. Safe to say it didn't work, and none of the 3 follow up emails I sent to address this were answered. This is so frustrating because i've been to 2 dermatologists before this one, and thought I finally found the one for my problem, after I was promised there was a simple fix for the problem thats I consider my deepest insecurity. Traveled quite the distance for a consultation which took about 15 minutes. The aesthetician seemed in a rush and told me she'd "send me pricing over email" (which I found odd) so I couldn't make the appointment for the actual treatment. A few days passed and didn't receive the pricing email so I called to follow up, and the person on the phone said you usually get pricing during the consultation but that she'd let the aesthetician know. I didn't end up getting a follow up. My guess is that the aesthetician never had the intention to do any treatment on me hence why she didn't share pricing. Super unprofessional and disappointing experience; I look really young so not sure if that was a factor but if I wasn't a good candidate for it, she could've just said so. I work closely with the SkinCeuticals corporate and medical field teams so will be passing along this feedback. We started with botox and I have since received, duel radiance (omg), jevederm in my cheek bones and just the other day very little in my lips.
