I've had trouble recently finding a dentist within my insurance (BCBS AZ), which seems to have fallen out of everybody's network ...so, I was happy to find somebody in network who was also referred by a friend. Consultation went well so I scheduled my next bi-annual cleaning with them. They did refer me out to an Endo who was unfortunately out of network, but hoping we can continue to figure out ways to assist me in the future. For a consultation and initial visit, everything was pretty good. Excited to return for my cleaning appointment!

Drs Kyle and Corey Rush are both highly skilled and a delight to be around, as is their whole staff! It is actually a pleasure to see the dentist and to have my "upkeep" done! Staff is so welcoming, and takes an interest in meeting our needs and getting to know us! We travel almost 20 miles to see them but it is well worth the drive! After 30 years of being a patient there, I can highly recommend Rush Family Dental to all!

I have high standards when it comes to my teeth because I have troublesome dental issues -- I grind my teeth so much that I have bad abfractions (gum recessions). There are many things that I look for in a dental practice -- technical skill, bedside manner, billing management, affordability, etc. most places are roughly similar. But one thing I've RARELY found in a dentistry is ARTISTRY. This is VERY important, people!!! Even if the dentist is smart, affordable, friendly, blah blah blah, it does not matter if they DO NOT have artistic skills!!! Ok, if you have healthy teeth and never get cavities, fine, go to whomever you want, but if you're like me and have teeth problems? Do yourself and your pocketbook a favor and find a Dentist who has BOTH Technical and Artistic Talent! Ok so here's proof positive of why Fulton Ranch Dental is a good fit for me, my husband, my son, and frankly, anyone: Recently, I had a gumline filling crumble off (remember, I grind my teeth) and so I immediately called Fulton Ranch Dental. Now, let me go into detail about my experience from the scheduling to the checkin at the front desk and wait time to the actual procedure with the dentist and dental assistant to the checkout and payment with the office manager. Scheduling & Insurance: Talked to Loretta ad nauseum about my insurance and she called them and made sure that benefits covered us properly and within the right timeframe. So that we knew what to expect as far as payments go prior to our appointments. So no surprise billing. :) She was very patient and polite! Checkin at Front Desk & Wait Time: I was greeted graciously by Jill and handed a form to complete. The entire process was quick and courteous -- my wait time was 5-10 minutes, if that. Actual Procedure The Dental Assistant (I blanked on her name -- oh crumb!) was fairly new to the industry (fresh out and only 2 years there) but she could have fooled me! She actually read the salient points from my medical questionnaire to Dr. Kyle -- say what??? Now this is an important part, people... because so many places don't even read what you fill out (you're just a number to them) but she really read my medical past??? How simple is this attention to detail??? And yet so rare and wonderful!!! Next up, Dr. Kyle was very friendly and informative. He took one look at my abfraction and knew right away what had to be done. Luckily, he had the bandwidth to fill it and did so, seamlessly, painlessly, and quite beautifully. He actually painted it and exquisitely color-matched it -- all while I watched an episode of How Stuff Works on Discovery Channel behind his head. They asked me to touch the filling for smoothness and it feels smooth like BTS butter. :) Checkout & Payment The office manager (again, didn't catch the name) was ever so kind and lovely. What is in the water at this place??? :) I'm waiting for a hitch but even the bill was not a sticker shock because I knew how much it would cost and it was fair. I've been to some crazy fancy dental spots who have lasers all over the place and charge $3K for a meager crown. This wasn't so. It was reasonable and well worth the 35 minute drive!!! Overall, I am incredibly happy to have switched my family over to Fulton Ranch Dental and I'm so glad we've finally found the holy grail of dentistry!!! :)

Poor Communication and Subpar Work…read more I would not recommend this office. My experience was painful, unprofessional, and financially frustrating. Lack of Pain Management: When they removed my temporary crown, I was in significant pain. The dentist didn't explain why and only gave me a local injection after I practically begged for it. After the shot, the dentist left and never spoke to me again. Poor Workmanship: A hygienist - not the dentist - replaced the crown with temporary cement. It was seated unevenly, meaning it's now the only tooth that touches my top row, causing constant pain. Insurance & Referral Issues: I was referred to an orthodontist to fix the mess, but because this office already started the work, my insurance now covers 0% of the follow-up. Had I been referred correctly from the start, it would have been covered. (This sort of mistake is typically understandable oversight - but the lack of support after and persistent billing attempts make it clear this is emblematic of the practice.) Billing Over Care: The office has made zero effort to follow up on my unfinished, painful procedure, yet they constantly contact me for payment. Interestingly, the bill gets smaller every time I complain and every time its an "accident" that wont happen again. Bottom line: They seem more interested in my money than my dental health.
