Last night was my husband and I's first time at Jeffrey's! We just moved to Mooresville and kept driving by the restaurant often. I told my husband let's try Jeffrey's tonight! I am so glad we did because we had an awesome experience. Abdelmajid was our server and he was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable, gave suggestions and he was very attentive. The bread and oil to start was one of my favorites. He made sure to give us fresh bread! Javier was also very kind and attentive. The medallions were cooked to perfection and I loved my holiday cosmo! We will definitely be back!

Great food, service, and atmosphere. I had the fish one night and the seared tuna salad the next night, both were very nice.

Came here for a work dinner. The service and the shrimp appetizer were good. The food was okay. I had the baseball steak trying to be Beef Wellington and it was not good. There was piece of pastry on top that was very dry and hard. The steak flavor was not good.. basically dry. I had mac and cheese on the side which was good. If you need somewhere near the hotels, it's a good option but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

First time visit. Fancy interior with gorgeous, colorful paintings. Hostess and waitress were very friendly... and the food was one of the most delicious and perfectly cooked ... Monday special was Southern Fried Chicken with 2 sides for $15. The chicken was boneless and fried and season perfectly. We chose the guoda and truffle macaroni and cheese, which was soooo flavorful and creamy, and mashed potatoes with gravy - yum!! The gravy was sooo good!!! We split it and had a side salad with blue cheese (one of the best tasting blue cheese dressing). We also ordered the Spinach Artichoke dip (not photoed) because it didn't come out before our entree... instead of throwing it away, they kindly packaged it up for us to go (didn't charge us - thank you) and we enjoyed it for dinner... wow!!! It was delicious, the Chips and dip were definitely one of our favorites. Looking forward to visiting again .

The place gave the impression of being a rather nice place, with a dress code. Said dress code was not enforced, so please don't feel like you will be overdressed. Business casual is truly not a requirement as it says on the door. However, The food was delicious. My husband had the beef Wellington and he said it was fabulous. The chicken was pretty underwhelming, but that's what I get for ordering chicken at a steak house, so no points really taken there. Just overall, it was an alright experience, I just don't feel like it was the high dining that's costs the almost $200 check. The table cloth was faux leather so they could just.... Use windex and wipe it down between customers. One of the forks still had food on it. The table was wobbly. (which, it was suppose to be a nice restaurant, why are we not double checking tables before service starts??) I hate to be so knitpicky, but for $200 I expected at least a little bit of fine dining. A romantic steakhouse dinner like they claim to provide. So, TLDR; great food, underwhelming service and atmosphere. Also, don't dress about your outfit, they don't care.

I got the special which was a coffee rubbed NY strip, served with asparagus and loaded mashed potato's. All around a great dish. My wife got the pecan chicken breast which is always excellent. Only complaints were the steak was overdone but they corrected the mistake promptly. The lobster bisque was slightly salty but man they packed that thing with lobster meat. I'll definitely give them another visit.

They used to have a sign that said "No WiFi, talk to each other," But didn't see it this time around. Anyways, Linebergers is a great spot to eat at if you are looking for some good food in the Lake Norman-Mooresville area. This is a fairly casual steakhouse, so if you don't dress up you won't be the odd ball in the room, but you certainly have a choice. Every server is fantastic. They are friendly, they treat you like family, and are quick. To my knowledge, almost every entree comes with a trip to the salad bar. They have the BEST salad bar. DO NOT SKIP ON THE SALAD BAR! They also give you warm rolls with "Texas Roadhouse style" honey butter to start. I highly recommend the prime rib as an entree. Don't get me wrong, it's not the absolute best prime rib I have ever had, but it is up there. It has great flavor, is seasoned well, and is tender. Their creamy horseradish is just ok, but that does not ruin the quality of the meat. The last couple of times they put chopped onions in my mac-and-cheese, which was weird and didn't taste good at all, but luckily this time there were no chopped onions. Both my older and younger cousins got the mac-and-cheese also, and one said that the cheese was too bland, while the other said that the cheese was too strong (sharp). Me personally I think that it is on the more bland side, so Linebergers can take that advice and apply it into their recipe, but nonetheless it is still good. They have the best dessert called the "Lake Norman Mudd Pie," which is essentially a layer of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and Oreo pieces. It is a good treat to have every once in a while, but is rich!! But, if you want a sweet treat, I would recommend opting for that. As a summary, the hospitality at Linebergers is unbeatable and has some pretty solid food (don't forget about the incredible salad bar). Once again, if you are in the area, do not miss out. Head to Linebergers! You will not be disappointed.

Although a lot of people were waiting for tables, the front desk said the wait would be 20-25 minutes. After 25 minutes they had a table for us. We ordered the salmon and a steak dinner. Again the service was quick. The food was to be cooked medium rare. Unfortunately, both meals were overcooked and more like well done, with no pink. As for the rest of our meal, it was good, but when you go to a steakhouse, the main event is that the food needs to be cooked correctly. I've heard from others that eat there frequently, that our experience was an anomaly. I'm not sure if we will go there again, but hope our experience was an oddity as we want non chain restaurants in our area to succeed.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Despite having reservations, the arrival and seating process felt disorganized. Our server was very friendly and sweet, but she was also somewhat aloof, rarely checked on us, and didn't seem particularly knowledgeable about the kitchen or menu. She mentioned at least five times that they had a new chef and that the menu had become "eclectic." In retrospect, that should have been a warning. Unfortunately, we did not have a single item of food that we would order again. At this price point, that is unacceptable--especially when outstanding premium restaurants such as Seaboy are literally just down the road. We started with a fried rice-ball appetizer and a mozzarella plate. Both desperately needed seasoning and were surprisingly bland. My Caesar salad was tiny, limp, and somehow almost entirely flavorless. My wife ordered a fried game-bird entrée--quail, if I remember correctly. I can't say exactly what went wrong in the kitchen, but the coating had the stale-oil flavor of McDonald's fries discovered three months too late. The accompanying sauce was murky, visually unappealing, and did absolutely nothing to rescue the dish. I love fried chicken, and even I couldn't eat hers. When our server cleared the plate, approximately 95% of the entrée was still sitting there. The server asked if my wife didn't like it, and she commented that it was not very good and explained why, yet they did not offer to make any changes or even discount that part of the bill which felt like a significant missed opportunity to address an obviously unsuccessful dish. I ordered the trout. Even allowing for the smaller portions common at upscale restaurants, it was one of the smallest entrées I have ever been served. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver enough flavor or refinement to make up for its size. By the time dessert was offered, we had no interest in spending more money after being disappointed by the appetizers, salads, and entrées. The beautiful historic home, atmosphere, and front-porch dining remain fantastic. Sadly, the food and overall experience no longer lived up to that wonderful setting. Our first visit was mind-blowing. This visit ensured that we won't return. Unless a massive sign appears out front announcing new management, a new chef, new staff, and an entirely new everything, we will spend our future anniversary dinners elsewhere. To those about to nosh, you have been warned.

We were seated and expressly told a specific waitress would be taking care of us then nothing, I mean absolutely nothing thereafter!!! We looked around and realized we were the only two people of color in the restaurant as well. Finally, a young lady started approaching, and we assumed she was headed our way instead she began catering to the table across the aisle from us a table that was seated a full 10 minutes after we were!!!! She introduced herself to them and lo and behold. It was the very same waitress we were told would be caring for us. We assumed she would get to us next, but she did not. We waited five more minutes and then walked out! On our way out. I summarized our experience with the manager, a very pregnant young lady. She apologized profusely and nearly begged us to return and allow her to personally service, but my husband was completely OVER it. This was our anniversary we chose this place to celebrate and the night was now ruined. I have never used the race card in my life, but as I explained to the manager the complete lack of service and failure to even acknowledge our presence in the building felt very intentional. The manager did gift us a generous gift card, which I still have yet to use. Maybe I will maybe I won't but the damage to our special night was already done.
