I went to have my speedometer visible again. After Daylight savings when I changed my clock, I no longer was able to see my speed. I tried some things on line with no success. Then I took it to Jeff. Nice guys, but not at all pleased with the work. They say they're skilled at diagnosing, and are experienced with classic cars. But I brought my 69 Mustang in for a compression test; waited around for 4 hours, and got nothing but the readings, which showed very low compression in two of the cylinders. But that's it. They didn't conduct any other tests; no leak down test, etc. It could be a blown head gasket; could be the rings, could be lots of things, but if I want to know, I'm going to have to have someone test starting from scratch. $380 to have my car leave run in rougher than it went in, and not be any closer to knowing the precise problem is not great, Bob. read more

I have no idea how they have such high reviews. I had hoped for a new neighborhood mechanic but after bringing my car there to have a serpentine belt put on I will never go there again. not only could they not get the belt on they destroyed the new tensioner while trying. when I asked them about this they simply said that's how it was - a BRAND NEW tensioner. Needless to say they refused to do anything to resolve the situation and simply walked away from me. I would highly recommend avoiding Jeff's Auto Repair! read more

I had to get my car towed to Jeff's Auto repair bc it stalled and was not running. It turned out to be the transmission. Jeff was very knowledgeable and friendly. He understood that fixing a transmission is expensive and something not to taken lightly. Anyhow I was able to leave my car overnight which I appreciate before I decided to fix the transmission. He explained that most Nissan 2012-2019 came with defective transmissions. However it took longer than I was initially told but I also appreciate that they took their time to do a good job. For years I went to Jim Matson Automotive. Found out today Jim sold the shop.... My transmission was acting up, barely working in low gears, making tons of noise. I thought the worst, but my car was only a 2014 with 45k miles! Did some research and decided to Jeff's shop a chance. Without knowing, I was chatting with Jeff Jr. who I read about on Yelp. I dropped my car off at 9:45am (with NO appointment), went to work, got a call around 3pm my car was ready, and I was back on the road by 3:45pm. Turns out transmission had a leak and had no fluid in it. They fixed the leak, added more fluid to the transmission, and I was good to go. For all I knew it needed a new transmission... I have a car accident the back bumper was crashed and Totally destroyed. Some light were broken,too. The car was undrivable I had a tissue back injuries. I went to a attorney's office and he helped me. I took my car to this place and the people there was really gently. They fix my car in really fast time. Now my car looks like it wasn't have a collision in the rear. It looks nice to me and for the speed I can complain. The only bad will be the crash. Great place! The guys there were very honest and asked for the average price for a new water hose (after a water leak). We also asked them to check the car, which is new, for any other damage and they didn't find anything. They could have made up something or asked for more on the hose as it was the only thing- they didn't take advantage. Very refreshing after bad experiences. This was also true for another friend who has used their services mutiple times for 2 different cars. I will be going back if there are any other problems (hopefully there wont be)! read more

Jeff is the man. Super friendly guy and his shop is very family oriented. Called on a Saturday because I needed an oil change and a tail light replaced. He told me to bring it up at 1:30. He had it completely done less than two hours later. When I picked it up, he and the rest of his workers were grilling chicken and drinking beer right as they closed up shop for the day. I finally found a mechanic I can trust and is located close to me! Like others, I shopped around and came across Jeff's Auto and decided to take my car in after a CEL that wouldn't go away for over a year despite having others check and work on it. Not to mention my car is at times difficult to find someone familiar with the make and model as it has been discontinued. After talking with Junior and giving him details of what was going on, he was able to run his diagnostics and determine what was causing the issues. He is very knowledgeable and willing to explain everything out in a friendly, polite manner. I felt like I was talking to a friend. Many mechanics are not willing to listen to you or are quick to disregard what you are telling them but that is not the case here. I would have been willing to wait days for my car to be fixed but it was ready the same day! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for honest, caring service from mechanics who truly care. I was visiting my daughter recently, when I realized her car needed some attention. After taking it to get tires done, we were presented with an exorbitant estimate for 'additional' repairs. I used YELP to find Jeff's shop, and to make initial contact with them after normal business hours that same evening. By early the next day, I had a reply, and subsequently a same day appointment. Jeff and Olga are both very customer oriented. They worked extra hard and after hours to ensure the car was repaired that same day. I couldn't be more satisfied, especially now knowing my daughter has an honest and reliable mechanic for any future needs. And, that huge estimate? Half the stuff wasn't required, and Jeff had us back in shape at a really reasonable charge.
