I Bought this car in Ohio with 141k on the odometer. I was fully aware that the car had just been rebuilt due to failed head gaskets. Anyone who knows anything about Subarus, knows this is a super common repair, but also a tad challenging because it requires a full tear down of the engine to access them. Anyways I purchased the car, drove it ~250 miles home, and enjoyed it for another 6k miles before tragedy struck. To keep this review short I'll get straight to the point. During the head gasket repair, this shop replaced the timing belt as well, also a very common practice. In doing so however, they decided to install cheap eBay parts. The parts failed, causing my timing to be thrown off and essentially destroying my engine. Now this is where it gets interesting. I took my car to my local automotive shop, and got it rebuilt for just under 3k. After getting my car back and talking to my mechanic, he gave me the scoop on what had failed and why. It was the timing belt tensioner. I took this information and with the help of the receipts the previous owner had given me from the initial repair, I was able to track down and contact this shop. "fix all" automotive. I talked to the owner, and knew I was in trouble. The first thing that I heard was denial. They tried denying that they ever did the timing belt, but I kept telling them that the receipts proved otherwise. Then once they finally admitted to doing it, their next argument was that he doesn't work on Subarus, and that mine was the last one they ever worked on. I tried to tell them that that's not my problem and what they did cost me three THOUSAND dollars (which is a lot of money for someone who is 18), but they kept blaming it on the fact that they don't normally work on Subarus. Finally, after conversing with them for some time, they stated that my car was scheduled to come in for a "re-tightening" after 5k miles, which was not true but that's not the point. Whoever is reading this, you must know that that is not standard practice for any vehicle as far as I am aware. I have talked around with many mechanics and while thy say it could be helpful, it shouldn't be, and isn't, necessary if the job is done right. Now, approximately 5 months later and many phone calls, they aren't going to put a dime towards the expensive mess THEY created. This shop might do good work but my experience with them was incredibly costly and irritating. This shop has ZERO integrity and will not take responsibility for their actions. Anyway, if anyone is genuinely curious to actually see the part that broke, I have it but I am unable to upload pics to this website as far as I am aware.

After taking my car to them for a change of some wires I was on my way home when I realized my code checker was gone. I called them immediately and was told the guy who worked on my car put it on the gear shift console and I must have lost it. Not in one of the two cup holders. Not in the cubby in the middle of the dash. I tore my car apart or this code reader and it was nowhere in the car. In short, it was taken and I was told it was my fault it was gone. My thinking is... If they're willing to take something small and inexpensive with no qualms, what else are they willing to do to their customers? They get the stars because they did the work and did a great job. But I hate people who steal. This is a second edit: After the owner of the place saw my bad review, he called me early one morning to threaten me, curse at me, and scream at the top of his lungs at me. It was pretty bad and definitely not a good example of a good business owner. He promised to replace the stolen code checker, I even texted him a screenshot from Amazon so he would get the right one, but I never heard from him again, nor did he replace my code checker. People should beware of this place, as the owner can be downright threatening if you don't give him a good review. Because of the threats and cursing at me, I changed my review to one star. I wouldn't recommend, solely because the owner is a dangerously loose cannon.

I went to drop the truck off the evening before a morning appointment and they offered to install the new tires right then at closing time. I texted on a weekend and was truly surprised to get a response within an 1hr (I doubt they were open) from Brian at their shop with a very reasonable estimate on the repair. When I received the repaired rim, having had other rims repaired by different facilities, I was amazed at the repair job. I had the tires rotated about three weeks ago and the very day after they were rotated I noticed a noise from the front end of the car, it sounded like it was coming from the tires. It was like a rattling type noise.. It only happens when my car hits a certain speed like on the interstate, which, I have to drive multiple times throughout the day. When I had looked up possible causes for this noise one of them was, if the tires had been rotated, but not properly placed back on that, could be the reason. Also, my vehicle has been pulling to the left. So, The technician says that he needs to drive my car to check this out, so I give him the keys thinking he'll drive the car down the road and back and then when he comes back, he'll put it up on the lift inside their garage, and look underneath of it to Make sure that the bolts have been placed properly. Make sure that the tires were properly balanced, and make sure everything was properly aligned. But, that's not what he did, he walks back into the store looks at me and says "so how long has that steering wheel been crooked" I responded "it hasn't been. There's nothing wrong with my steering wheel". Then he says How long has it been pulling to the left? I'm like, since the day after you did the rotation. Then he tells me that the source of the sound has to be the ball bearings, and that I need to take my car to a general mechanic and have them check it out. He Didn't spend one second actually looking at the tires or checking the bolts that hold the tire on. As I mentioned before, I'm on the interstate all throughout the day several days out of the week. If God literally forbidding something goes wrong with this vehicle, it's not just my life! And this is my only vehicle to get to and from my job! And I cannot just keep taking off work and come in there and have somebody dismiss my concerns. So once I got to work, I had to find an automotive repair shop that is open past 5 o'clock so I can go and have my vehicle evaluated for something that even the repair man, over the phone, stated, sounded very much like whoever rotated the tires did not put something on properly or didn't align or balance them.
