Jen was on time, responsive and enthusiastic about being our wedding photographer. The event had 40 attendees and spanned 7h. Jen traveled to and photographed all 3 events - a Christian western, Hindu Indian wedding and the reception. Her candid photos were beautiful and her editing made them even more so. She was not intrusive and neither we nor our guests felt her presence and we enjoyed our event without having to think about the photos. She was initially reluctant to share candids and photos she did not think were good despite it being useful and memorable to me and my husband. Jen eventually relented and shared more candids and photos of our guests which turned out to be filled with more love, joy and emotion than the posed photos she had initially chosen for us. Her edited and unedited photos look equally good but we appreciate the 20+ hours she spent retouching the photos. Jen is young and shows a lot of promise. I am confident her talent is best seen through her candids and hope she will learn to see the beauty she captures in the imperfect but real moments. I hope in the future she offers unedited photos to her clients - even if it doesn't look artistic to her, they are still memories to cherish for her clients. Jen is a fabulous photographer. I did a search on Instagram for family photos---and found her pictures to be natural, authentic, and beautiful! She was quick to respond to emails, she was flexible with location (we wanted her to meet us at a winery that we were members of), and had a great eye for capturing unique pictures.
