My first visit; a little out of the way but not hard to find. An independent building, which is nice but I noticed the paint needed some attention and the windows were a little dirty. Cheerful, attentive staff. The scrambled eggs were okay, the hash browns fine, the sausage patties were hard and way over spiced. This is my go-to breakfast spot in Oroville. It's small but quaint with excellent service. The star here is the food. Great bacon, made to order home fries, and I always get the half waffle instead of toast or biscuit. They're the best waffles I've had, and use quality maple syrup. Was very disappointed in the service received at our visit in June 2021. The breads on both our sandwiches were not what we had ordered and because they were closing early that day and we were hungry, we did not have time to have them remake both meals. So we expected there would be some sort of compensation on our ticket. 1) we did not get what we ordered and 2) we did not make them waste food by remaking it. So we ate 1/2 of what we were given since it was not to our liking. When we got home I sent them a letter explaining our disappointment and asked for some sort of compensation- giving them a chance to make it a better experience showing they really did care. But I have not heard anything from them. We used to live in Oroville and had been there many times, not sure we will return. So be aware and make sure you get what you order! read more

This place is excellent. They make great omelets, very good American traditional breakfast here. They even had cottage cheese since I have an issue with eating potatoes and gluten-free toast! The prices might be a little bit on the higher side but I would not hesitate to come here if I am in the Oroville area I do recommend them the wait staff is friendly all smiles and give very quick service. read more

Worst service everytime I go. If u like actual omelets this is not the place to go. The scramble everything into the eggs (even avacado) then slap some cheese between the folded scramble. Even if u r very specific as to wanting an omelet. When u confront the staff they don't apologize. Not even the owner. Amazing! Great food big portions. Pricing is legit. Won't leave hungry. Love the breakfast steak and eggs, home fries with peppers and onions, and 1/2 biscuit and gravy. Never have a issue. I will never eat there again this is the second time I have gotten sick from the food. I went there for breakfast this morning very hungry I ordered sausage scrambled eggs hashbrowns and a half order of biscuits and gravy with coffee the coffee came it was weak and watery the breakfast came fairly quick as the plate was put on the table there was a foul odor the eggs were scorched the sausage undercooked potatoes were greasy and the toast was burnt I only ate a small portion of the biscuit and gravy and before I got home I was sick.my husband only ate a small portion of his meal which costed us over $35 what a disappointment. The wife and I make a point of eating here a couple of times a month. Jenn and her staff are very attentive and welcoming. We've never had a underwhelming meal here. The food is cooked perfectly and fresh. The wife has had veggie omelets and oatmeal, and is always satisfied. I made the mistake of ordering a skillet one time. It was so large, I couldn't finish it, but delicious. I like my eggs over medium and they are always cooked perfectly. Hash browns at a lot of places are only browned on one side. These are browned on both and just the right thickness. Basically, the food is really good and the portions are generous, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Terrible . We waited 40 minutes for food, then the waitress mentioned that she forgot about us to another waitress and LAUGHED. It was rude. My friends and I just left . It also felt discriminating because we were the only ones who were not of European descent. Would not go again ever! read more

Stopped for lunch here today. First impression was it's old and run down. We went to order and was informed that they were ll out of bread, except for rye. I have been in the restaurant industry my whole life. The grocery store is right across the street, you go buy more bread to hold you over, until your next delivery arrives. We placed our order, and it took close to an hour to arrive. We almost walked out, because I was with my special needs daughter, and that's way to long for her to wait. When the food finally came, my burger had a big black hair on the plate. I wasn't hungry anymore, between the hour wait and the hair. I had to find the waitress for everything. Two flimsy napkins didn't last long, drinks were never refilled, by the time we got our food, the ice was melted, and drinks watered down. So, to sum my review up, the restaurant itself is run down, the service was awful, and the food had hair in it. I have been a waitress and a bartender, and I always tip well. For the first time ever, today I didn't. Btw, if you need to use the restroom, your handed a key and told to go around back. read more

OMG! The garlic fries are amazing! Today my husband and I ate at Jenn's for the first time. BLT with avocado was perfectly done. Hubby inhaled his Spanish omelet. The cafe is cute and homey. Our food server was so personable and FUNNY! She recognized that I had once been a food server myself, just by the way I placed my order. Really great food, nice menu selections and loved the pretty red and white flowers on each table. We will definitely go back again and again. Prices were great also.
