Asked for jalapeños in an omelette, they were canned, and the country fried steak was gross (old oil flavor, wasn't fried at a hot enough temp so it was soaked in oil, and zero seasoning in the breading. The steak is coated in panko bread crumbs, making the crunch very light (yet satisfying), without feeling greasy nor having it get super soggy under the gravy. First time coming here with my daughter for brunch. It's super cute in here, all of the quirky country decor is super cute. The staff was friendly and the Cafe was decently busy when we arrived but it died down after we were seated. I ordered a side of biscuits and gravy and a side of hashbrowns and my daughter had the kids French toast meal with bacon and scrambled eggs. We were here for an hour, the wait for our small order was the majority of the time spent here but everything seems fresh upon order. The gravy was pretty good, biscuits seemed to be homemade and the hashbrowns were crispy and delicious. My daughter enjoyed her French toast sticks, I expected them to be frozen because most restaurants half ass kids meals but they were made fresh and she enjoyed them. The drinks are pricy in my opinion so I had a water, drinks are $4 for a fountain drink. The kids meal was $7 and came with a drink but refills were $1, just an FYI. Super sad to say I had to walk out with my daughters today. Especially my littlest as it was her birthday. We were seated quickly by someone and then were completely forgotten & ignored. As we sat looking at the menu after at least 10 minutes. Another couple was seated and drinks gotten right away She saw us... proceeded to clean a dirty table. Then seat another couple ... finish cleaning a dirty table then get the drink order for the most recent couple. She didn't think why would we be sitting there with no drinks ??Or even to ask if we had been helped. Not in the slightest ok with me. I was a server for years. Pay attention. After perusing the extensive menu and claiming that we needed one of everything, my hubby got the Banana Split Waffle and a side of hashbrowns, and got a Create Your Own plate with poached eggs, corned beef hash, homefries, and rye toast. Everything was cooked to utter perfection-firm poached eggs with a runny yolk that was ideal for dipping my rye toast in, salty and savory corned beef that was definitely not from a can, crispy homefries and hashbrowns that were crispy on the outside and almost creamy on the inside, a beautiful Belgian waffle that was cooked to pillowy awesomeness! I am not so sure why this place is rated so high. At first glance it's cute with an old time diner feel, but a look behind the counter has me questioning things. There were cleaning supplies scattered around the food areas and the bucket of water to wipe tables looked like it hadn't been changed in days. Move into the bathrooms and you could see the poo splatter from patrons prior. Mind you, it was 8 am when we were there, and this wasn't fresh. I couldn't tell you the last time the urinal cake was changed or the pee stains cleaned off the urinal. Overall, the service was good. No complaints there. The food was ok, our IHOP last week was better, but to cap it off, my wife had a hair in her omlet and has been pissing out her butt since we left. Food was decent, traditional American breakfast fare. Their sign says all you can eat hashbrowns. They look like the potatoes went thru a wood chipper (size), served slightly underdone and are overwhelmingly greasy. They were a huge downfall of my plate (that and apparently ordering eggs over medium well translates to runny yolks!) Waitress was on point, gave us a carafe of water and our coffee cups were never empty. She was pleasant and they do turn tables quickly. Decided to explore the valley for a cool breakfast spot and found this place! Cute decor, good food, big portions, tasty orange juice, and okay service. Everything was spot on except getting our waters refilled, sat the cup at the end of table to make it clear we needed more and it was ignored for half the meal. Other then having to share and ration my cup of water, everything was over all good. I got the steak & eggs with sour dough and a cup of orange juice. Everything was cooked perfectly, I did have to put salt on everything and there was to much garlic on the steak. Otherwise delicious! My boyfriend got the country biscuit with hash browns and absolutely loved it. We both left happy and extremely full! It's definitely worth checking out for breakfast if your in the area. read more

We went for breakfast on Sunday 12/18/2022 and it was packed. We had about a 10 minute wait to be seated. When we received our food (Jenny Benny omelette and a scramble) we were sorely disappointed, the portions were extremely small the omelette was about 5" long and had watery, bland hollandaise sauce and tomatoes on top with a small amount of hash browns. The scramble was luke warm and dry. We did not finish the breakfasts and were very disappointed with the quality of the food. I've gone to Jenny's for years and have met the owner Jenny and she is a wonderful person. I understand having to be thrifty to keep a business afloat, but sacrificing quality is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant. Jenny's use to be a "go to" breakfast for us, but after our last few visits I'm doubtful we will ever go back as there are much better choices for the cost and quality based on our last couple of experiences at Jenny's. read more

They're managing COVID guidelines incredibly well. We stopped in after a heck of a night traveling and having hotel issues etc.. after being on the road for five days. This was the best meal we had the entire trip. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the pumpkin waffle special, hash Benedict special, and smothered biscuit. Our waitress was a gem, coffee and water kept full, and checked in often. The best part was the atmosphere. The other waitresses knew the regulars by name which is always heartwarming.
