Peach wine is wonderful!! Bought some to take home. Wanted homemade ice cream but I was late for that. Maybe tomorrow!

I emailed them, asking why a tip is automatically added onto the gift shop purchases, and never received a reply. At this point in time, they will no longer get any more business from me.

Finally made the trek over to check out Wildseed Farms. We came across this place accidentally as…read morewe were leaving Enchanted Rock. At that time, there was nothing going on and nothing growing so we decided to come back around when spring was happening. So this time around, definitely more popular, more cars and people wanting to check the place out. Essentially I was expecting this to be more of a field of flowers. But, it's basically that (although there wasn't much of it yet, just some flowers to see) and garden decor, pots, gifts, wine, pickled things, plants and LOTS of wildflower seeds to plant at home. The plants, some were decently priced, most were a little pricier. Just depends on which ones. Majority of the ones we wanted were a little better price wise vs going to home depot, at least we think so! We walked around the adventure trail (since it was free) to get some steps in and have the kids burn some of their energy out while roaming around (minus my toddler, she would want to run away and fast haha so I changed my mind on that idea). The trail itself was open, spacious and a great way to get some fresh air. You can be lucky enough to catch some glimpses of some flowers that could be sprouting out even though there's not much! The shops: they had different types of store fronts, one for food/snack/pickled items alongside a small cafe where you can order beer and wine, another for more accessories, clothing and some planting items too! They had standing wine tasting area near the trail walking area if you want to walk around with some wine. Parking: so much parking, so definitely not to worry although I can image it being more difficult when the flowers really bloom in their field.

Every seat in the place was taken but the bartenders were still on top of it and kept our glasses full the whole night. Like a lot of people, we were there for a bachelorette weekend, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. Brooke herself was there managing the crowd, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience and making sure everything is running smoothly. She also just launched her own bubbles, and they were delicious. It's cool to see a young owner so hands-on and clearly passionate about what she's building.

Still decorated for Christmas, pink and candy were seen all around. The bartenders and our server were a fantastically fun time and seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can't speak to the negative owner comments as I didn't encounter her, but they seemed to be doing fine in her absence. I can definitely see how some might feel a little uneasy here, as if you don't "fit the vibe" you will look and feel largely out of place which is unfortunate. Granted, that's kind of a Fredericksburg thing in general. Long story short, if you want a place that is gram worthy - this is the dream location. If you want to be relaxed and have a slower more inviting pace, look elsewhere.

I saw that it was called a Bob Ross bar in a couple of reviews... when visiting Bob Ross was playing in the background at the bar. I found it kind of nostalgic. We ordered a few things as a group (see pictures). I just wasn't happy with my food. I ordered chimichurri street tacos and my tacos were mostly lettuce. The meat was seasoned OK but kind of tough. I felt like I was eating a salad with a little bit of tortilla. My friend who had the steak salad enjoyed her food, but she didn't note that the steak needed a little more seasoning. And my other friend enjoyed is salmon with the same note. Overall, I think our food was okay, as in everyone was somewhat satisfied but not overly impressed (minus me). The service was pretty good. Bartenders worked the bar and the tables. I think that if you'd like to have a drink, this is a good place to stop in.
