I've placed two orders with Jenson over the past 3 years. I'll never order from them again. Their shipping is horrible and whatever cheap shipping they use with UPS doesn't allow you to pick up shipments. I think they pay so little that UPS will get your package to you when they are tired of kicking your box around a warehouse for a week. Jenson won't call you back and they are clueless when they do. I had two great purchases from Jenson, and one included a MTB Bike purchase. I then bought a few items including a helmet. The helmet was a bit under sixed and Jenson handled the return/exchange for me on the phone. They did however charge additionally for the new size coming out to me. I returned the wrong size and got an email conformation. I never received the refund money and they still have the returned product. I purchased a Ritchey C220 Carbon Matrix stem for $159.95 from Jenson USA. Upon receiving the stem it appeared to be an open box or returned item. When I attempted to install the stem, I was unable to line up all 4 clamp bolts with the bars in place. I returned the stem within 2 days of receiving it and had to pay the return shipping. I clearly explained my reason for return on the request for return online form. My return was rejected and shipped back to me. I am out the cost of the stem and the shipping charges to return the stem. This will be the last time I order from Jenson USA and I cannot recommend them. I wrote a review about the stem and the service I experienced. They did not post my review even though it was accurate and truthful. There are better sources for cycling products. So do your homework. I received a response from Jensen USA explaining that the stem was installed and I did not inform them why I was returning it. Incorrect! I bought an Orbea Gain new from Jensen about 14 months ago. When I took the bike to a local service shop I was told that the rear triangle was cracked. I cannot use the bike. I made a warranty claim using the link supplied. Putting to one side how challenging it was to fill out all the information they requested I expected to at least hear back. Nothing. I followed up by e mail and phone. Promises that my request would be elevated to "managers" also resulted in no action. I paid close to $4000 for the bike and expected better. There are plenty of places to purchase a bike. The least they can do is respond. I get we are in a pandemic. If I treated my clients this way I would have no clients. The epitome of voice mail jail. You think they could route the call promptly. Worse than trying to call the federal govt. Than after you reach the write cue it goes into a hold pattern and blasts your ears off the line with blaring rock music. So much for placing an order, we just wanted them to be able to answer the d--phone! Then it says "At anytime you can press #2 and get a call back. I ordered a bike rack from them. On ordering, their website said there was one available. I received an email telling me they were back ordered. There were instructions on how to cancel an order, but I am unable to navigate their site. It's impossible to get someone on the phone. Their recording does say that if you paid by paypal, YOU will have to wait to get the money back. So many issues. 1. Get your inventory control right. 2. If it's not in stock, don't allow me to pay for it unless you tell me it's back ordered. 3. Fix your website! I would recommend not buying from this shop. read more

Rudest and most unavailable customer service team in existence. Took over a month to get a return addressed and they mishandled it and sent it back to me. Then called me liar 4 times saying I didn't state why I returned the item, which had been mislisted as boost when it is in fact nonboost, now they refuse to accept it back because obviously no one wants to but an outdated non boost crank and they've even gone so far as to go on trustpilot to lie about the item and how it's equipped saying I did something wrong. Just avoid the at all cost and shop with backcountry, worldwide cyclery and Lost Co. instead so you don't have to resort to social media and credit card disputes to get a resolution. read more

I ordered a shifter and derailer from this website. I spent a few hours trying to install this with a friend. Then I took the parts to a bike shop and they still cannot get the parts to work. We installed a different shifter and derailer in about 10 minutes. I returned the derailer and shifter because they were defective and they will not credit my money back. When I called to talk to them about this the guy I talked to me like a bro and just said I'm out of luck. There are so many other great bike places to order from but this is not one of them. My original review was a very negative review, shocked at the idea that I was being scammed - I made a large purchase and saw the next day I was being charged 1.5 times the original cost, this led me to quickly write a negative review and make as many calls and e-mails as necessary. However, once I was in contact with Jeremy he quickly and easily explained the situation. In the end I was only charged for what I purchased and Jenson communication, albeit slow, has been very helpful in explaining how they go about their business. I'm still waiting for my items to arrive, On-Trac isn't the best, but at least the service has actually been better than I originally anticipated. My advice for JENSON USA, make a note to let customers know how you charge people to avoid any unpleasant reviews. Looking forward to receiving my parts! Attempting to build a new bike, I took some comfort in Jenson's return policy. I went as far to purchase an extended warranty as I fell for the marketing about easy/quick returns. Naturally, the rear derailleur wasn't compatible with my build. By Jenson's estimation, removing an item from the packaging and sizing it up on your bike disqualifies it from their returns. I'm out the warranty, the price of the derailleur, and the confidence to trust anything I read or hear from Jenson. TreeFortBikes or REI are much more trustworthy. read more

Ordered a wheel online at 11:30pm for standard shipping (3-4 days shipping). Next day after researching it was the wrong part. Researched the order status was never started, created or shipped. Attempted to cancel order but was very difficult to accomplish on the jenson usa site. Chat was not working and kept redirecting to another site with a different login to cancel the order. Called them in person and spoke to an agent to cancel the order. While reviewing the order status marked "label being created" on my computer screen. The agent places me on hold to try and cancel the order. Then, agent returns and tells me they can't cancel the order with they status Label is being created. Coincidentally shipping status on my screen changes to shipped. The product shows up on my front door in 2 days from the order date which would have been the overnight shipping option even though I chose standard 3-4 days. WOW, I'll let you guys put it together. Now, I had to claim it on my CC due to their shady practices completing the order vs cancelling it. I will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Have made several component purchases without issue. However, do not purchase a complete bike through Jenson, and do not be fooled by the 90 day returns plastered on the web page. When you purchase a bike online, the one and only way to determine if it's a good fit is to take it out of the box, adjust the saddle, and bars, and test ride it. What they don't want you to know is that it is no longer returnable. I needed to return a MTB, but was told that if I test rode it then it's considered "ridden". When I questioned that logic, I was literally told that it's in black and white and couldn't be more clear. By that logic if you test drive a car, then that car is now a used vehicle. I received one of them but I'm still waiting for the other one. Being that this helmet is for my kid it's somewhat imperative that I get it in a timely fashion. new disc brake rotor missing parts I ordered new disc brake rotors and a cassette from Jenson USA. One of the brake rotor packages was damaged, appeared to have been opened up and the mounting screws for the rotor were missing. Jenson USA told me they would ship a replacement that day (day I called), but didn't ship it, as promised. In addition, they want me to go through the hassle of sending the rotor with missing hardware back to them which requires additional time and effort that I prefer not to spend since this was not my error. All the positives are from the initial selling process. All the negatives are support related. They suck. At the end of the day it's my fault for buying an expensive bike from a shop that's located on the other side of the USA. My worst case scenario came true. An order I placed in November was stuck due to two items that were "in stock" during purchase, went out of stock before shipping. So, I got ahold of customer service after a day of trying, and they replaced those two items with equivalent items that they verified "in stock" in person. One month later, at the end of December, and I am still waiting as one of those items ended up not being truly in stock. As a downhill freerider I go through several mountain bike products monthly. I only use what actually works and lasts. Jenson USA is one of the only companies I feel good about spending my hard earned money. All of the products are real from authorized dealers, not knock off Amazon trash. Shipping is the fastest compared to other bike shops. Getting back to riding is more important than waiting weeks or days for a product. They do have the best return policy. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a part, received it and found it to be defective and had to return it. The part was supposedly a brand new SRAM GX derailleur for $70, but arrived loose in it's box. Upon inspection I found the mounting bolt was loose and certainly unfit to be used, so I boxed it back up. I returned it and to my disappointment my refund was only $53. A full refund owed for sending me defective parts, but instead I am out $17 and have nothing to speak of except this bad experience. I will not shop with this company again and I can not recommend that anyone take the chance as they will not stand behind what they sell. read more

I recently received an order where my camelbak was STUFFED into a box far to small, it was folded in half and crammed in with the rest of my order. It Was disappointing to say the least. The back which is rigid now has a huge bend in it. Is it a big deal? no not really. Will it probably straighten out over time?maybe. Was someone being super lazy while pulling this order? yes.
