Called for a quote on a muffler delete on my car and gave me exactly the price he quoted for. The place was extremely clean for a shop. After the delete, my car sadly was droning loudly (more than I expected) on the freeway back home so I turned around and brought it back. The guy who did my mufflers recommended that I add two glasspacks onto the exhausts and it worked great, the drone was like 97% gone haha. These guys did a great job making my car sound great! Props to the guy who was doing the muffler job, he's a beast and very professional. He wanted the exhaust tips to be aligned perfectly. "Outstanding Service". I took my Lincoln MKX to Jerl's, to have them clean up a sloppy mess that another muffler shop did under my SUV. I had them replace the MagnaFlow mufflers, and install some Dyno Max Performance Mufflers on my Lincoln MKX. The gentleman that did the custom welding did an outstanding job. I am a guy who can do almost all car repairs himself. That being said, sometimes it's just nice to pay a fair price to have someone do it for you. I called at 1230 and asked if they could give me a quote for replacing the front brake pads on my wife's Toyota matrix. some places will balk at giving a quote over the phone but they quoted me a price of $150 or $100 with the brake pads that I bought myself. They said come on in and I showed up at 1:30 PM and I was out of there at 2:30 with the brake job done and the tires rotated for an extra ten dollars. It seems to me that these guys are interested in running an honest business at a fair price and capitalizing on the business that will come their way as a result of their great service. I will not consider another car repair facility in Riverside until Jerl's forces me to do otherwise. read more

I took my car here today to get a battery replacement, brake job and serpentine belt since I'll be driving across the country. Meno and his wife Natalie were both VERY friendly and helpful, and they were amazingly fast at getting my car finished the same day. We dropped it off as soon as they opened and got it back just a few hours later, even though I expected I'd probably have to leave it there over the weekend. There's many great reviews so maybe this was their only screw up maybe? But came here to get my car aligned for $70 and its not fixed. I made the mistake in not watching them do it and you're on a busy schedule and having your alignment done is important. In the past, my tire got bald from the alignment not being done and had a bad accident in the rain so it's so important for them to do this properly. read more

I religiously get my oil changed from the Toyota dealership. I always seem to leave with a "laundry list" of things that need to be fixed on my car. I only trust Jerl's Muffler, so naturally I took my car to Jerl's. I gave them the Toyota paperwork, which stated that I had numerous leaks.. Valve cover, timing cover, power steering... And numerous other "issues" once they pulled my car on the lift, the only thing that was wrong (regarding leaks) was my oil pan, was loose.. they tightened the bolts and guess what?? No leaks!! amazing!! I'm extremely disappointed with my local Toyota dealership. But, extremely grateful that Jerl's took their time and are honest.. One of the very few things that actually needed to be repaired/replaced was my motor mounts. Had Jerl's do that.. Gave me a fair price and had it done in less time then they told me my car would be done. read more

Very impressed with this place of business. I had just received an outrageous quote from an authorized dealership and started to call around to different business' and noticed Jerl's had an impressive record and has been around for awhile. Arrived at the establishment and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Then proceeded to tell them what the dealership advised that needed to be fixed. Instead of saying ok we will do that for you, they insisted on verifying that the problem existed. Jerl's advised me that the service did not need to be done and helped me with what needed to be fixed. I went from spending almost $1100.00 to barely anything and my car is running excellent now. I have had an ongoing brake noise problem and have been to several mechanics who have been unable to fix it. I called Jerls and went in for an estimate within 30 minutes of my call. They looked at my car right away and quoted me a price $100 less than the dealership. I went in the next week and they pulled my car right into the garage to start working on it. I had brake work done by another shop and they completely ripped me off and did work that was not necessary and that did not take care of the issue my car was experiencing. Highly recommend this place; honest people. This isn't the first time we've use this place and they have demonstrated their not trying to rip you off and charge you for stuff you don't need. Typically places say you need stuff done that doesn't and you land up spending a lot. I just saw another customer come in to have something they thought was wrong with their car, The technician went and test drove it and tested it and nothing appeared to be wrong....Jerl's didn't charge them for anything not even to look at it and told them to bring it back if they feel they still have an issue. How easy would it have been for Jerl's to say there was something wrong and charge them to fix it. read more

I called about a week ago at 7:45am to make an appointment. The man I spoke to was very kind and knowledgeable. He told me it was first come, first serve and there weren't appointments. This morning under the assumption that they opened at 7:30, I dropped my kids at school early and made the drive over to Jerl's. I arrived at 7:40 to a closed gate. That's when I realized that they open at 8. I patiently waited until 8:10. At 8:20 when no one had arrived, I called Champion Auto about 2 miles away. They ordered the brakes during my drive over so they could get my car in when I arrived at their shop. Within 10 mins my car was getting new brakes. I've been having problems with the brakes shaking for awhile. Dealer says everything looks OK but finally decided to get a second opinion. I called and was able to get in immediately. The people there were very nice. After asking a few questions, they said it was probably my rear brakes but they would check it out. Turns out I needed front and rear brakes and resurfacing the rotors. Not only was the cost inexpensive but they did the the whole job in about 1.5 hours. So I installed a flowmaster exhaust system on my brand new car and my welder took a dump. I used the clamps that came with the kit. First took the car to Mota auto repair who specializes in catalytic converter replacement for a simple finish weld job. Big mistake I was told the job was too hard. Really? I build race cars... They could only tack weld the exhaust in place, but they were the closest.... My mistake....they charged me $60.00.....what a bunch of crooks... Went the next day to Jerls muffler and low and behold no problem 10 minutes later exhaust all welded up and super clean and for less$$$$.. Jerls is my spot when I need an honest opinion or a helping hand...and let it be known they have the cleanest shop I've ever seen...... read more

old miata needed a new cat conv. and a coworker told me to call these guys. i shopped around for prices at about 4 different places, and these guys were the cheapest by $25. they did very nice work fitted the new cat conv in welded the old flanges to it, so it still looks oem and can be unbolted if needed. these guys were great read more
