Very unpleasant individual he acts like he's doing you a favor letting you order his food. This is a wonderful place! I have been coming here since I was a little kid and they still remember me! They are great for families because they have some arcade games and great for adults because they have tasty pizza and sandwiches. They also serve $10 pitchers of beer which is great when you come to watch the game or hang with your friends here. They have parking in the back and metered parking out on Sherman way. The owner and his son are super nice and helpful when it comes to ordering! Their wings are delicious and I highly recommend any of their hot sandwiches! My husband loves the chicken Parmesan and I love their hot roast beef or hot turkey sandwich. They are extremely affordable and personable here. This was an exhausting experience... I gave this place a shot after seeing decent reviews and recommendations on yelp and reddit, so I was very confused to find that it was not good at all. I ordered a large cheese and tomato pizza along with 2 meatballs for delivery. The meatballs were very dense and not tasty. I don't know what to say other than it was flavorless. Also, very minor issue, but the bag they came in got kinda soaked by the sauce spilling out. The pizza was terrible- greasy and rubbery cheese, dough had zero bite to it, and no sauce. Let me emphasize that there was no sauce; I literally peeled back the cheese hoping I was just imagining things. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so tragic that a pizza called "Cheese and Tomato Pizza" had no tomato. There were some hints of remnants of sauce along the outer crust but that was about it. The dough as I said had no bite- by this, I just mean it was very soft and bready. Maybe that's what some people want, but yeah if you're looking for any sort of crispiness or crunch, you won't find it here (at least I didn't). It's even more amazing because underneath the pizza had a few black spots... so you'd think that would translate into some sort of texture, but I guess not. What's more, you could see the end parts of the crust were half yellow from soaking in all that grease. Incredible how this missed on so many levels. We made sure to check multiple slices in case the first 2 were just unlucky. At first, I thought maybe it's just not my style? I mean I don't get all the positive reviews. But, I really don't know who this is made for... Honestly, at this point I'm assuming at least some of the reviews must be fake; either that or this place just has a cult following or something... I would be embarrassed to sell/serve this. I feel bad writing such a harsh review, especially if the people running this place are nice, but I need to be honest... Even with all that being said, seeing all the great reviews on the side as I'm typing this has me so confused... My love for Jerry's is strong! Their pizzas are nothing fancy, but that's why they are so good. Just well made, delicious, PIZZA. The crust is nice and thin but not too crisp, the sauce is perfect, they use tons of cheese, and it's a good price. Wowza! We passed this hidden gem for years and finally stopped in to get pizzas to go! It's a real pizza joint with leather banquettes and arcade games! But the pizza - seriously good. We got a custom regular crust with bacon, pineapple and jalapeños and a double crust with fresh tomatoes, cheese and jalapeños. The small is 8", perfect for a couple of people with regular appetites! My family always comes here to get pizza, and sometimes when I was small we'd eat there all the time. The pizza is so so good, and genuinely has really good flavor. I love Jerry's Pizza, I've tried Sausage and Pepperoni, Cheese, Jerry's Deluxe, Alfredo Garlic Pizza, and the wings. They are all pretty good, and the slices are big ofc depending on the size you get. I highly suggest trying the pizza here, it's good for family gatherings, sport days, movie nights, or picnic dates. I have searching through their website and other reviews to find out how old this place is. It's at least 50 years old. I came here all the time as a kid and it was a dive back then. I still remember the rotating Hamm's beer sign that mesmerized me as a child. Now that my mother in law moved a block away, I get to relive my childhood. First it was Cavaretta's and now Jerry's. Fuck the chain restaurants. I want dives. I love mom n pop shops. Especially in the Covid era. I ordered ahead and the pizza was coming out of the o en when I walked in. Atta boy. Hot n fresh. The inside of the place was not worth commenting on since the tables and chairs were stacked up. The guy running the joint on Sunday afternoon was as nice as can be. My ability to get Jerry's Pizzeria delivered to our home has been a challenge over the years. Evidently I'm just outside of their delivery zone. They make some of the best pizza I've ever had. The only other two places that are even close are Lido Pizza and Chi Chi's and they don't deliver. I'm still trying to get West Hills Pizza to deliver but no luck so far. I haven't been motivated to get in the car and drive over there for pickup. Their pizza looks good online. I used Postmates. Wow! Way to add on those delivery fees and additional charges. Too much! Then there was a app called Seamless that used to deliver Jerry's to me for a hot minute. Then no more! Great. For a while I could get delivery but only with a $50.00 minimum.
