A couple knocks come from the ordering at the table using a QR code with my phone. I hate this--it was a pain and took forever. Don't make guests spend time sifting through long menus to place an order for four people, then ask for a full tip for the wait staff at the end. I was the one doing the work, and I want to spend my visit relaxing, not battling an app. Plus, we still needed the wait staff for questions (they were very nice), so it would have been better to just have them take our order and be done with it. Really this is a three-star review, but I want to return someday, so I'm being aspirational by giving another star in hopes the ordering gets better. Dropped by over the weekend to see this new and absolutely beautiful location. Parking lot is tiny and has specific ones for the other shops next door so do be aware of where you park! Not sure how strict they are. The classic logo up front, beautiful decor and smells as soon as you walk in, greeted by the loveliest staff and even got to see familiar faces like Liana (owner) and Salma (my favorite Barista). The layout is similar to their original location in Balboa so it felt like we were right at home. Menu is easy to read, love that it has descriptions and photos for a lot of the drinks. I stick to my usual: Small Iced Moody Latte (pistachio latte with strawberry cream top) and they perfect it every time. Perfect amount of sweetness with the strong taste of espresso. The Lee's Special is definitely another must try if you haven't had it before! If I am feeling like a sweeter drink kinda mood, I would get that.
