It's rich without being heavy, a little sweet, a little salty, and just enough heat to keep it interesting. One of those sandwiches that sounds unusual, but works surprisingly well. The café itself has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and service is friendly and easygoing. A great spot for a casual lunch when you want something comforting, but a little different. The only deduction in a star is I wish they had the chicken & wild rice consistently more available on the market side and a few more dessert offerings in the restaurant. All they have is lemon bars, cookies, banana pudding. I would like to see a daily pie special. ATMOSPHERE: This is a solid place, clean, good for kids, families, ok for a first date and coffee--definitely not romantic. It is always clean and neat. SERVICE: You order at the register and they bring it out to you, but it is pretty low-key. All team members are great. TIP: Pick up a freezer meal when you leave. Their casseroles and dips are great for emergencies or a night off.
