Jason's Deli is one of those places that's been around forever... we forgot it existed until we tripped across it looking for a delicious fresh sandwich. They are known for their sandwiches, homemade soups, fresh salad bar (and free ice cream) that won't destroy your wallet. For us it's a win. We were genuinely excited to rediscover this place. It's family-owned, they give back to our local community, keep everything looking clean, classy, and inviting. You could easily host a group event here for up to 50 people (maybe more). Super friendly staff. They took our order with a smile, happily gave me a sample of their new pickle pasta (yes, I was that person), and actually checked in to make sure we liked our food. Jason's Deli has done it again! I ordered from their Allen location for Lunch this past Week. This time I got The Big Chef Salad with Ranch, The Plain Jane Potato, a piece of Texas Chocolate Cake and a Coke. Everything was freshly prepared and packaged well. The Plain Jane Potato had butter, cheese, bacon bits and it was nice and cheesy which I loved. The Chef Salad was also delicious and it is full of meats, cheese and veggies. As for the Texas Chocolate Cake it was fluffy and was a great way to finish my meal. I will definitely continue to order from this restaurant! read more

Jason's Deli needs more love! I will say, I'm not a fan of the whole rebranding, though. I loved the classic look of the original Jason's, but I guess they must be making the move for marketing reasons. It's very clean in there, and all the wait staff is friendly. Where Jason's shines is having a variety of simply and fresh meals at affordable prices. I absolutely LOVE to load up on their salad bar. I also love their sandwiches, wraps, and chicken tortilla soup. The ice cream comes free with every meal, so my inner child and marathon training athlete self is always happy about that too. read more

Jason's Deli will up charge you on purpose and then their manager Jake will argue with you when you catch it .. my teen asked for their turkey sandwich plain with cheese only $8.69 ... instead they upcharged us $9.49 plus added .69 for cheese then I ordered a Manager's Special $10.79 I asked for soup and then added the side salad for $2.39 he then charged $10.79 plus $4.39 for soup and $2.39 for salad... seriously not cool to do this .. the worst part is that then he argued with me that the Amy's turkey has half the turkey that the other sandwich did so he wasn't going to take it off .. unreal .. sad sad service and well the bigger better BLT wasn't even all that .. we won't be back ... check your receipts .. three for lunch don't be $52.08 ever ... here's his pic because he didn't believe me that I'd be sharing with people who might care to know ... read more

We often meet for lunch during the week and after church on Sunday. The sandwiches are always the best-especially the chicken avocado chipotle panini and Reuben. Also can't beat the tortilla or tomato soup. We will keep returning. read more

Everything at this Jason's location in Mansfield is usually exceptional. The food is fresh and plentiful. The restaurant is clean and so are the restrooms. The staff is kind and attentive. I've had maybe 3 out of 30 off visits where the salad bar and breads were picked over but those exceptions are so few and far between. I tried the Carmela today and it was delicious! My only complaint is the absence of those tasty pickles. Please bring the pickles back, Jason's! And please, never ever remove the ice cream machine! read more

Nice clean restaurant. The food was alright. My roast beef sandwich was decent; not super delicious but not bland. It really needed salt or horseradish but they were out of horseradish sauce. The ham muffuletta was fair. The ham was grilled too crispy with burnt edges. The penne and meatballs were pretty good; slightly bitter but the best of all 3 meals our family had. The fruit and dipping sauce was excellent. I do miss the grenadine in the fruit sauce though. The staff did stay on top of the salad bar being stocked. The pickles did not taste like a normal pickle though which was odd. I've been to several Jason's Deli and this place was below average compared to most. The staff were nice and they did their job well. There was a staffer there that was kind enough to reach the salt for me since I'm short. Overall, I'd try here again to see if the quality of food improves. read more

Was there yesterday about 3pm. At least half of the tables were dirty, filled with dishes. The guy working the register was busy with his long curly hair and couldn't care less. For years I've seen TV shows about Reuben sandwiches and how great they are. So yesterday I decided to see for myself. I ordered one from Jason's since everything I've had from them has been excellent. This sandwich was incredibly disappointing. The bread was meh. There was not enough dressing. I live in Allen, so I have been visiting the deli since 2003. A few weeks ago, I went to the restaurant, finished my food and while I was waiting for my wife to finish, I felt something on my neck. I was wearing a cap and my wife told me I had something crawling on it, it was a small roach. Today was another good day and my review needs to reflect how much better this chain deli has become. For that last several visits I've been acknowledged when entering the restaurant. I like that. I like this place but avoid the new bacon cubano. Unless you absolutely love just mustard. I know why they don't call this a Cuban sandwich because it's an insult to everything Cuban. Most sandwich's here are pilled high with meat, but not this one. Who needs meat when you have a mustard panini. I have to start off with, I'm a fan of Jason's Deli typically. I ran in to get a loaded baked potato w/Brisket to go. Noticeably, the staff here has been the nicest group of folks, I've ever encountered at this Franchise (in any state - they're exceptional). The texture of the brisket was odd, it reminded me of artificial meat. The photo I took, the meat looks as if it's chilli. Not much flavor and by far the most disappointing meal I've ever had at Jason's. I scraped the beef like substance off and just ate my potato, so that it wasn't a total loss. read more

Jason's Deli is an all time favorite for my family, its local and it has a pretty basic menu that provides a wide range of entrees for the picky eater down to the salad eater. The service here is always good and the people working here do a good job of keeping the place tidy and clean. Its your typical "walk up, order and pay, then find a seat and put your order number where someone can see it" kinda place. The exception is, if you order a salad bar, you walk down to the end of the register and get your plate. I typically order the bottomless salad bar. I never return for a second salad, but I like the option. If you are in the mood for a salad, this place has a lot of options to build an incredible salad. My experience has always been great since they are always stocking the salad bar and nothing runs out. My kids order pasta dishes typically and my wife typically orders a sandwich of some variation. We are all typically pleased and love coming here on the fly. After ordering, you won't wait more than 10 minutes before someone comes to your table with your meal. My kids rush through their meal as fast as possible with the only real agenda being to get ice cream in the cone. They love that they can make their own ice cream cones and load the cone with chocolate syrup before creating large ice cream swirls on the top of said chocolate syrup cone. Jason's Deli is a great place to drop in and have a quick meal with the family. We find ourselves here oftentimes after soccer games, volleyball games etc. I've always been a fan of Jason's Deli's and feel they do a good job of knowing their customer and demographic. read more

Curbside delivery was definitely not easy. In fact, the online ordering was pretty painful. We got baked potatoes with everything on the side. We were told that the credit card did not process and that we would need to come in. Saw a great deal of evidence indicating that that would be a high risk during Covid times and declined. They took our payment card information over the telephone but unfortunately the person was repeating every digit out loud with a lot of people around. We could see this from the front window. We finally asked her to please stop repeating the digits. It's a scary situation. Not as scary as going into a crowded business with minimal social distancing and many people without masks during Covid times but, not pleasant. Once the payment details were finally worked out, our food was placed in the trunk of the vehicle. The quality of the potatoes Was good. Nothing exceptional. No hickory or smoky taste. Just a baked potato. Fairly large but about eight dollars each. One was just a generic baked potato and the other had chopped beef. The chop beef was overly sweet, low-grade and had a lot of gristle. The difference in price between the two potatoes was about $.10. The chopped beef not worth ever getting again. The fixings on the side were good quality and appropriate temperature. The problem with the ordering and the very low quality of the chopped beef made this an overall disappointing experience. For about $16 plus tax for two potatoes, I think we could have done better and been much happier. During Covid times particularly, we are looking for food establishments to step up and provide a better experience. To her credit, the woman working the telephone, cash register, processing of carry out orders, processing of curbside delivery orders appeared to be maxed out! I blame that problem on management. This order was placed at about 1:30 PM. This used to be one of our favorite places. We will not be returning for a while. It's a pity. For the sake of people that require these jobs, I sincerely hope Management reads these reviews and does what is necessary to improve and make things better. read more

Jason's Deli is a great go-to for a quick lunch or dinner. I was craving a salad, of all things, and I knew I'd get my fix here. They have a great deal of half sandwich and one trip to their salad bar which is very affordable. Salad bar has a nice array of various greens, veggies, salads and toppings. They also have muffins and complimentary frozen yogurt for everyone. They have a good selection of sandwiches, baked potatoes, salads, wraps, and even some pastas and soup to choose from. Over all the place is clean. I'd say staff can be a bit friendlier but they are not rude or anything. read more

I don't come to Jason's deli often but decided to come in for their awesome salad bar, I was so sad that I couldn't make my own, I had to write it all down on paper and -I'm so picky about my ingredients-and have them do it.. when I got home - I reluctantly opened my salad.. to my surprise, it was awesome!! I was so happy with it! They did a great job putting it together. Thank you Jason's deli! Update : I got another salad on another day I guess I got the employee of the month when receiving the first salad because the second one was so wrong.. There was a piece of cardboard in the second salad! And they forgot my eggs. I asked for at least 3 eggs.. there were none. I asked for extra ranch.. and didn't get it.. I asked for extra cottage cheese and only got one little tiny container.. I took everything out of my big order bag because I would have been very angry to be taking it out at home and finding so many missing things- I had to ask for all these things when I clearly had written it on the salad paper. Too bad I didn't actually open the salad or I would have seen that my eggs were missing. the person in the front was not very nice. She was blonde with a pony tail.
