Took my toddler son to Dillas for lunch for some father and son bonding! We dined in, and I really…read moreliked the layout of the Restaurant. It was up to date and very clean. I also appreciated that despite it being a chain, they added elements of the Frisco community as part of their layout. The staff was very friendly and the menu had a variety of options that sounded delicious. Ultimately, I went with a regular Founders combo meal, and a kids meal cheese quesadilla. This QSR concept looked like a cook to flow, so it might take a little longer to get your food, but it was well worth the wait for the quesadilla because it was delicious! It was packed with flavor, and had a good toast on the tortilla. I would highly recommended getting the founder with chicken, might try it with steak next time. Now, for a QSR, it is a bit pricey and a combo all included is about $14 - $18 depending on the type of quesadillas you get, with brisket option being more expensive. You can get a gorillas combo, which is closer to $20 -$25 dollars, which is steep. The quesadillas itself is worth the premium pricing, and the fries were good, be it a little over seasoned, yet it did not seem like you get that many, more like a handfulI for a combo and kids meal. I was not a fan of the sauce that accompanied the quesadillas which was the creamy churry. It did not have much of a punch with its flavor and the consistency of the sauce was very watery, and not as thick as sauces at other QSR concepts. To compensate, I did get a side of queso sauce for dipping, and their queso was fire!! Overall, I was still left hungry, and don't know if I would want to spend $20+ for a larger combo. I do plan on coming back as I do want try their other quesadilla menu options, as they do them very well, but I would probably just get it by itself rather than a combo going forward. That is in my opinion the best value way to experience Dillas!

The advertise picture on the menu and what's on their app. Definitely does not match what they give you. The RATIO of toppings to nachos is not equal. Please see my picture for reference. There are more nachos than anything on this plate. They allow you to get two toppings one meat and one nacho cheese. It's like getting nachos at the movie theater. You'll need to get an extra cheese lol Any extra toppings you want they charge you extra With my order, I requested pico and hatch peppers When I got home I had to assemble my plate. All toppings, including meat and nacho sauce came pre-packed in a tiny containers. my nachos were looking pretty sad And to top it off, my nacho chips were stale AF. (I think if they would have assembled it in the store and ladled the cheese evenly all over the nachos it would've been better" Needless to say, I will not be ordering these Temu nachos again

I ordered the…read moremake your own pasta (included spaghetti noodles, alfredo sauce, pancetta, spinach, and hot chicken, topped with fresh grated parmesan). The cook prepared everything as expected putting all ingredients into the warming skillet to give a good mix together over open heat. FYI- this is one of the main reasons that consumers love the pasta at Piada. This brings me to the main issue. My second time ordering (door dash delivery) I ordered the exact same thing, but what I received was very different than my first order. A bowl or dry spaghetti noodles with a scoop of sauce thrown on top, 5 spinach leaves thrown on top of the sauce, and hot chicken on top of that. You could tell that it was not put into the warming skillet and mixed together. The alfredo sauce was thick and barely enough to cover the top of the noodles. The remaining 3/4 of the noodles were completely dry. I was very disappointed with this $15 bowl of lazily prepared lackluster pasta. 2 days ago I gave them another chance assuming the previous order was a fluke and prepared lazily because they knew it was door dash and they wouldn't have to be accountable (no excuse). The tall young man at the counter was nice and quick to greet me when I walked up. As I order my food, I specifically asked him if they were going to put everything in the warming skillet to mix together over heat. He said yes. He put all ingredients into a bowl except the chicken. They were cooking the chicken so there was a wait. I paid for my food and took a seat while I waited. They brought my food to me when it was finished. I open the container and to my surprise, it looked the exact same as my previous door dash order (a bowl of dry noodles, a scoop of thick cold alfredo sauce slapped on top, etc.) I went to the counter to ask why they didn't put it in the warming skillet to mix together especially because I literally asked if they were going to do this and they said yes. The young lady tried to tell me that they mix in the warming skillet at other locations, but not this one. After I told her that I've had pasta prepared this way at this location as well, she then told me they in fact do prepare the pasta with the warming skillet at this location, but most of their skillets were dirty because they were about to change shifts. Huh??!! What kind of excuse is that for just being plain lazy. Especially after I literally asked if you would prepare the pasta as expected and was lied to. As much as I loved Piada the first time, I'm going to take a break from them. What good is it have a customer love your location the first time, if the food and service isn't going to be consistent. As I stated, I loved my first visit, but have been completely disappointed each time after that.

The fries were perfect with the veggies and sauces -- not too thin or too thick, so they paired really well with all the toppings. I personally prefer the non-spicy chicken. It was tender, juicy, and crispy. The spicy chicken tasted more like fajita-style seasoning.

The food is, mostly, a 4-to-5. Over my two visits in a three-day period (one lunch, one dinner)…read morethere were only two quality issues. The first is an overall criticism that they are ridiculously stingy with their "Dave's sauce," both on the slider (nearly non-existent) and as a dipping sauce. For what they are charging for their food, they should be including a larger portion of sauce. I mean, they obviously know how large the tenders are, and the little cup is large enough to dip half of one tender...then you can pay for more (if you can even get to the counter - more on that in just a bit). The second quality issue was with the saucy bites. The breading on our order was borderline burned. The hot honey sauce seemed to nearly entirely poured on the bottom of the clamshell they were served in. I really like the tenders, and the bun for the slider is nicely sweet. I ordered mine without pickles or "Kale slaw," as both disgust me, but that's me. The service, however...that is why the rating is mid. The front-line staff collectively have no personality whatsoever. At lunch, our food was served in nice little baskets. At dinner, and may I say go in at dinner at your risk as the lobby and available seating is far too small for the abundance of traffic jamming up and blocking the entire order area with their heads in the clouds. It seems like the overall clientele is unaware of how standing in line and being courteous to others works. Our dinner meal, for dine-in mind you, was served in clamshell go containers. I find that insulting. It was a cold, drizzly evening, so no one was choosing to sit outside, but the seating area , again, is totally inadequate for the crowd size. Even were you to order your meal to-go through the app, you'd be forced to navigate through large groups who apparently think everyone needs to come inside to get a go-order. I honestly do not know if the hassles in the evening are worth returning for dinner, and that is our primarily time to eat out.

It payed off handsomely for me and Chuys Frisco resulting in a 5 Star Review! After discovering the original Chuys location in Austin 30 + years ago,I became a devoted fan. Every trip to Austin was augmented with a Chuys visit. Along about 1990ish they started expanding and a location near downtown Dallas was a highly anticipated opening. Almost as good as the original. They maintained authenticity for many years expanding even into other states. Then,as often happens, the nose dive began. As a result I quit eating at Chuy's,even when visiting Austin. Not the same. Then,a few months ago enter Darden Restaurant Group. They bought Chuy's lock stock and barrel folding it into their operations which includes one of my faves, Longhorn Steakhouse. I was anxious to try Chuy's again and see if the Upward recovery had begun. I overlooked the Plano location having never liked it that much in favor of the newer Frisco location. Due to my 18/6 eating schedule we went for a early dinner. Bottom line is,Yes! Atmosphere, food, service, prices combine to provide a great Tex-Mex experience. I highly recommend you.... Go! Thanks for the great service Brandon A special shout out to the General Manager doing a world class job Andrew Wilkinson.
