Really enjoyed my cold sub from Jersey Mike's. I got the original Italian, which consisted of provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. The sandwich comes with onions, lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar, oregano and olive oil, but you can customize the toppings to make the sandwich to your liking. You can also choose between white bread, wheat bread, or rosemary Parmesan bread. I loved the rosemary Parmesan bread! I came here early last week to pick up a catering order and had a good experience. The store wasn't too hard to find. The food was also delicious! Everyone was happy with the sandwiches. The catering order was also ready for pick up when I arrived. And they had a fridge stocked with soda and sparking water so I could grab one before making the drive to the customers office. I've had jersey mikes before and got food poisoning a long time ago at this location so I haven't gone back for awhile but my son loves jersey mikes and wanted one for dinner and I felt like sandwiches so we decided to pick 3 up to go. I got his order but when I got there I had a hard time deciding what to get. The menu isn't vast just not sure what the difference is with each sandwich and when I asked the workers they weren't that helpful lol they weren't mean or anything just not helpful and didn't explain all that in depth. So I just got a simple turkey one and 2 clubs. The sizes and prices are extremely high I felt. I was hoping the quality made up for it. I didn't remember it being so pricy for a large sandwich. I got 2 mediums and a large hoping it would be enough for 3. Didn't seem like it until we got home and started eating it with sides. We were able to save 2 pieces for lunch try next day. But the price I feel is a bit steep for a regular sandwich. I wasn't wowed sorry. I was hoping to be wowed by the quality since it was a bit high. And I was hoping the bread would be fresh and it wasn't that night. But was it a good sandwich? Yes. It was tasty. But not sure it's worth the price. OK, so I'm in Austin for work. I'm feeling a little homesick because my family was not able to come with me. First time going to a Jersey Mike's subs as soon as I walked in it felt very welcoming. It seemed to be a little lighter inside of the restaurant than outside. The workers greeted me very warmly, assisted me with the menu and had the food in front of me faster than I knew it. They didn't know it, but for the meal and the time spent conversing with them I didn't feel quite so homesick. My favorite go-to sandwich is The Club Giant sandwich which is like two regular sandwiches if you want to spilt with someone. I learned a lesson. Don't order the Gargantuan, it's too good, and too big, but I got one thinking I would cut it in half and make a snack out of the remainder,(yeah right). It's also too hard not to eat it all, if it's within reach. Seriously all their stuff is fresh, bread is great. Go there at the risk of peddling the bike, or running the extra mile. Customer Service: Poor Timeliness: Horrible It is next to a busy Chick-fil-a, so I decided to skip the Chick-fil-a line and go into an empty Jersey Mike's. 4 employees were preparing online orders. It took them 3 minutes to even acknowledge that I was standing right in front of them. They took my order and then proceeded to continue working on online orders. After I had been standing there for at least 5 minutes I asked if they would make my sandwich since I am standing there waiting. The reply I got was "Give me a minute and I will make it." I waited an additional 6 minutes. The sandwich took only a few seconds to make. What should have been a quick in and out turned into a 15 minute wait with no sense of customer service. read more

This Jersey Mikes cares more about its paper bags than it does about customers... I go to my local Jersey Mikes in Denton all the time and they've always been hospitable and friendly, the food is good. However as I pulled into this Jersey Mikes parking lot, my three year old got very sick. I went inside and asked if I could just have a bag. The lady said "oh yeah no. I don't think we have any." As she stands in front of several stacks of paper bags all along the wall.. She goes to check the back and I thought maybe she didn't know any bag would do (really not picky when my kids covered in barf) so I clarified "even a Jersey Mikes paper bag would work". A second employee behind the counter said "No yeah, sorry". The other employee came back out and said "Yeah sorry, no." They didn't mention anything about company policy and I didn't really ask as I had to get back outside to help my son, but I could see this was probably a matter of not being a paying customer. I get it they aren't a charity case, but idk.. if I had to choose between helping a potential future customer or getting my moneys worth out of a small paper bag and leaving them with a negative memorable experience... Meh. This review is about an Uber order that I placed. I asked the Uber driver to make sure that my sandwich was toasted (apparently the "need anything else" section on the order doesn't appear on the restaurant's side). He asked them to make another sandwich and toast it (mind you I'm pregnant and really shouldn't have lunch meat that hasn't been heated). They told them they couldn't do that and sent the over driver on his way. When I called the store, they had a totally different story. Apparently the Uber driver didn't ask them to remake the sandwich and he refused to wait for them to remake it (if he didn't ask to remake it, why did he insist on not waiting for them to remake it???? Lol doesn't make sense) since they couldn't toast a sandwich that was already packaged up and ready to be taken out the door. Which is understandable, but I made it very clear that if the sandwich was not toasted they needed to remake it. So I don't really buy into what the employee I spoke to said, but to each his own. Side note - this man on the phone who said he was a manager proceeded to tell me that all of their meats are cooked and cured and fully cooked therefore safe for pregnant women. Came here again for lunch and it was a disaster. Their ordering system is terrible, the guy in the middle cuts the bread but then has to go backwards to get the meats and cheese. He couldn't get the orders correct, messed up on the meat selections, and turns out he messed up on my bread as well when I got back to the office to notice. They don't really toast your bread unless you are getting a grilled on, the guy who puts you items on your sandwich has no idea whats going on either. The ordering system here needs a lot of work. The cashier girl wants to tell everyone her life story so that also holds up the line as well. Bad experience, the food the first time was good but the second time went downhill, so I'm not really sure what to tell you. Night and day experiences. Went here for lunch with coworkers. The food is pretty good and you get a good amount of meat on your sandwich. The wait is a little long, I think maybe they didn't have their system down so it was taking a while. It is nice that there is bacon to add to your sandwich. I think they can toast the bread since they have a grill for the cheesteaks but I didn't ask, so maybe next time. I went here for the first time last week with my co-worker for the first time. My JM turkey sub was the best darn sub sandwich, I really wasn't expecting to be dazzled. The bread was good, toppings were excellent. I wasn't going to get pickles but the manager recommended them, they were very good. Service was good, and my sandwich was ready in a jiffy. Me and my friend sort of made it our tradition, because it's one of the only places with a fast, fresh, SUPER F-ING DELICIOUS vegetarian sammy. Those seasonings!!!! Parm bread is my go to. Don't forget to put it your number for the rewards, they don't always remind you. And they've never gotten my order wrong. Only complaint, I wish they had a better alternative to using the wax sandwich paper underneath it while prepping--because they throw it away after they put your sandwich on the clean paper. Refused service because we didn't have masks on. Austin has lifted the mask mandate - every single place around you is open mask free to vaccinated people. I had lunch here today and was a little underwhelmed. With a sizable crowd, it wasn't terribly intuitive where the line started and who was just standing and waiting for their order. It seemed a queue of some sort would help. And yes, it was the lunch rush and the place was packed, but I waited 15 minutes for my food. A lot of people behind me in line got their sandwiches before me. For about $8, my Philly Cheesesteak was okay but not very filling. It would have been over $10 had I added on chips and a drink. Food is usually pretty good, but today I went in with my husband and son and ordered. I didn't see any name tags and specifically looked for a name tag on an African American girl. She was not wearing a name tag anywhere on her. Didn't seem very polite at all. And the thing that is making me leave this review is the fact that she was chomping on her gum while preparing all the sandwiches. Not even with her mouth closed, with it wide open, smacking it with every bite. Now I've worked in the food industry, and for people who haven't, this is absolutely disgusting and as a ServSafe manager, this is inexcusable. I have also been in the position of ignorant food preparer, but at least I had the common curtesy to keep my mouth closed and not unintentionally spit all over the food. I would gladly come back here if they got rid of this girl, or made her go through some serious observation from the management. The service is not good and the owners don't like to make it right. We placed an online order and went to pick up the sandwiches and they told us the order didn't print. Then they proceeded to have us wait 30minutes in line because they had other customers ahead of us. The owner doesn't take accountability and manager isn't much better. We won't be back and would love to see the franchise come down on these owners. They give jersey mikes a bad name. It's unfortunate. read more
