Beware: this store has very poor employee morale. Tonight I bought a sandwich here. The employee took my order, took my money, then crumpled the order printout into a little ball and threw it away. She then walked off the job. She didn't say anything to me, just threw away the order and left. The other store employees didn't even know I had ordered and paid. If you're ordering for delivery, be prepared to wait! I kept getting delay notices. I called JM's and was told they Were shortstaffed and my order would be out for delivery in 5 min. Since you can track the progress, I could see the driver at the store, left and then went back to the store later to get my sandwiches. Way more than five minutes before my sandwiches were ready. This was my third time having a sub from Jersey Mike's. The last two times have been at this location in Burien because I work nearby the airport. My last two visits here were great. I placed my orders online and when I got there, the gentleman had it already prepared. I was in and out. The most recent time, the same gentleman and a very nice young lady were working the counter. They were very chipper and attentive. The young lady's name, which I believe was Cecelia, according to the receipt, made my sandwich. I ordered a number nine, which is the club supreme. It includes roast beef, turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mayo. I also added dill pickles and jalapenos, and of course I got it Mike's way, which includes olive oil and vinegar, and blended mix of herbs. Also, they just released their new rosemary Parmesan bread. That was tasty! Just looking at how delicious the sub was getting, she even received compliments on it. More customers started entering the shop, and the staff greeted every single person. read more

One star because it is the lowest rating. My issue with this store is that they do NOT listen. We have been purchasing sandwiches from this place for several months and it is ALWAYS the same problem. They don't seem to have the skill set to cut a sandwich in half! They either forget to do it all or worse, cut it partially in half. Now you have to tear it creating a huge mess. Why not include a plastic knife and shift responsibility to the buyer. Sandwiches are not bad. read more

Pre-order at 11am to pick up at noon. Email confirmed order would be ready on time. Got here 5-10 minutes later and still wasn't ready. Then as I sit and wait they say it was taken by someone. I am not impressed at all. The only thing I like was the meat inside my Philly cheese steak. But everything else, meh. First, I have to say how confuse I was, after I step foot inside the restaurant. As my first time, I had no idea rather or not I was suppose to order and pay first or order and pay later. The customers that were there before me told me that I was up and to go to the register, the lady behind then told me I was suppose to order first. And I am like thats fine. Fabulous staff and very welcoming as soon as you walk through the front door. Impressive to watch them work as a team, and they checked with each customer making sure they knew what options were available for their order. Heard about these guys for awhile. So I went there the opening weekend as I was in the neighborhood. After waiting in line for a good 10 minutes, they ran out of bread. The owner was apologetic as I think this was the first day. So he gave a coupon for a free sandwich. I thought that's cool. Upon further review it's a free sandwich if you donate to a charity over the labor day weekend . . since I stopped there on my way out of town the not so "free" sandwich coupons was pointless. I was in the neighborhood again and decided to try it once more. The ingredients were good and meats are freshly cut, however it was soaking in Italian dressing. The crusty bread disintegrated in minutes making the sandwich fall apart. Complete failure. Jimmy Johns remains the only decent chain I can deal with. read more

I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but sometimes they work out well. Although I'd heard of Jersey Mike's a long time ago, I didn't have any desire to try their food. They just opened this franchise near my home, and since they sent me a coupon for a free sandwich, and because it was late, I was hungry and I didn't feel like driving far, I thought I'd give it a try. When I got there, they were out of bread, so I was ready to leave and forget about this place. However, the young man behind the counter was willing to improvise (at a chain restaurant?) and seemed sincerely interested in making things right. He made me something that was not quite on the menu . . . and it was really exceptional! Although I doubted Jersey Mike's was much better than Quizno's or Subway, what I ate was certainly better. And the customer service was excellent. The guy who made my sandwich was friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely interested in his job, and this,more than anything else, is what will bring me back to try the food again. I give this place 5 stars for customer service, but my overall rating is only 3 (I wish I could make it 3.5) since I don't really look forward to eating fast food as I would with a family-owned, sit-down restaurant. However, I will happily return the next time I am rushed for time and don't feel like driving far. read more

My children and I have eaten subs here 4 times since they have opened. Their roast beef is excellent. Our favorite sub so far is the club one with bacon.Their employees seem really happy and do a great job. My kids get really excited when I tell them we are going to Jersey Mikes. read more

Sandwiches are good, really enjoy the phillys, what's not ideal is the service and the attitude to customers who are not familiar with the menu. If I don't understand that hot sandwiches come pre-made. I got educated real quickly and rudely. I just wanted extra hot pepper and mayo which when my order was taken I had no clue I had to add on at the moment. It was an honest mistake on my part but I felt the staffs attitude was demeaning, calm down I didn't know and you make sandwiches. It is like another version of Subway. The cool thing about it is the sandwich meats are being cut right in front of you. I saw the guy spending his time to cut every inch of those meats. Perfect place to call if you want a rude employee to talk to you and decide if your worthy of take out. Not to mention they wouldn't take my order unless I get there half an hour before they close. I got there in ten minutes as promised but they weren't ready. In fact I had to wait an extra 6 minutes. Don't know why, the place was practically empty. Can't make sandwiches without messing up the order. Foods not bad, I like their philly cheese steaks and price for hot sandwiches is great, cold subs might be a little expensive. Now I often go in while at work with my two Co workers and never have the three of us gotten sandwiches without them messing up at least one of them. Some of the staff seems nice but they seem like have 3 new people every time we go in. Order the Chipotle philly and they'll forget the Chipotle or give you chicken instead of beef, even when you don't order something special they get it wrong, manager is often there and seems friendly but his staff doesn't have it together. read more

I have had a few Subs from Jersey Mike's, but I have never actually gone in an ordered one. I am from Jersey and we eat Hoagies there so that is what I am used to, Jersey Mikes serves a West Coast Sub on West Cost Bread. That being said I went in to get a sub and there was a long line, I debated going else where, but noted that the line was moving rather fast. I watched the team make the subs. When it was my turn I asked for a Meatball and an Italian. I explained to woman behind the counter how I wanted the Italian put together, in detail and she followed it right to the letter, without any sort of an attitude about changes up her routine and that is where I was really impressed with the crew that worked at Jersey Mikes on Sunday, May 21rst. Everyone of them was friendly, hard working and made a good team and wow they can move a line along faster than any Jersey Hoagie place. The woman who was cutting the meat for the Subs was amazingly fast and accurate. The meatball sub was not a Jersey meatball sub, but it was a dang good sub and my friend liked her Italian sub made the Jersey way. read more

Saturday, April 30th around 8ish close to closing time, i ordered over the phone so I could just pick up once I get there, the girl on the phone picked up and I ask "are you still taking orders" she says "hold on", after she checks to see if they are she says "yes", she then proceeds to say "what do u want" very rudely, before I could even finish my sentence saying "can I get...." She immediately cuts me off and says "HOLD ON" in such a harsh way, if u weren't ready then why did u ask me what I wanted? As I get there I walk in and the young girl gave me a nasty look as she sees me, the girl gave me an attitude as I was speaking to her, she didn't seem to care about her job, I asked her where I could insert my card because I didn't see where to insert it and she gives me horrible attitude while responding to my question, as she finished ringing me up she leaves the front and goes to the back not giving me my order or putting it in a bag, as of now she is no where to be found, I'm left there waiting to be given my order, I ask the gentlemen if I can get my order and he gives it to me. This young girl has no manners and gives attitude to customers she doesn't know, if you're not going to be giving proper customer service then you shouldn't be working it's not that hard. Poor management. Looking at other reviews I see this has happened to other customers, how can u keep an employee who does no good to your business. read more

After the pros who opened this store left, the workers could care less how a Jerseys Mike's sandwich should be made. Talking specifically about the Turkey wrap. This crew doesn't make the wrap up front like all the other stores. They can't get it wrapped tight enough and they only cut 3/4 Of the way. I thought this was a fluke one time, but when I ordered it again it was so loosely wrapped that all the food was falling out. Making it for a sloppy meal. Oh and the older lady that works the lunch shift is such a treat to talk to. We saw a new Apple Pay sticker on their front door. When we were ready to pay we asked if their device now takes it. She replied, "If it's on the door then I guess we do. So so pleasant. By far the worst example of how a Jersy Mike's store should be run. read more

Arrived at 8:49pm on Tuesday, August 18th hoping the try the place for takeout. The sign on the door states open until 9pm. Other customers are inside eating. I go to open the door, the female employee runs to the door and shuts off the open sign, gives me a monotone "We're closed" and looks at me like don't even think of crossing the threshold I want to go home early. There is an obvious need for a service sector minded business person to be in charge here. While I try to support local businesses with my money, I will not be back to this place until there is a "Manager on Duty" sign on the door. read more

Update! I made a review of this girl a couple months back but I finally got her name right ! After she registers me I sees from the receipt her name is Ula. I haven't been here for months but once I walk into the door on Friday I see her and she greets me with my name! Not only that she asks me if I want the usual even remembering my order. I promised I would write a review for her once I left Friday but Work has been so busy but she deserves one. I feel like the people who bash this place simply expect authenticity from a fast food joint. It's fast food, you dummies so it should be comparable to its competitors, subway, Quiznos and jimmy Johns. Not some awesome hole in the wall family joint. In comparison to its competitors, it blows them out of the water, the staff is nice, the wait time is good, during non rush hours and still exceptional during the rush. And the quality of the ingredients is damn good as well. People should realize this place for what it is, and chill out when it comes to making irrelevant comparisons. 4/5 read more

First and foremost, the sandwiches are really big! Even the smallest size was enough to fill me up. They freshly cut the meats and cheese and customize each sandwich. This place was awesome until the old owner sold and Tori the manager left. The new owner has hired an incompetent staff and wait times are 30 mins for a sandwich even when the line is short. We also had a terrible experience when ordering 4 giant subs for a fundraiser, which we have ordered on several occasions. The subs weren't ready on time and when we came back 15 minutes later they still hadn't started to make them. The other day my wife went in and nobody is at the counter and to go orders are piling out of the machine. The new owner doesn't seem to care and this reflects in the employees. I have 6 regular customers boycotting this location and I will recruit more by word of mouth. This probably won't be hard, as the service here is awful. I am done with this place until it changes. I have also contacted corporate HQ and they don't care either. Just sent me a standard response... yada, yada, yada...piss off. read more
