It's a fairly large sandwich. Ingredients are fresh and it's made to order. A big step up from a Subways or Blimpies, way up. There are toppings and sauces to choose from, if you wish. It's not as inexpensive as the sandwich shops previously mentioned, but it's worth it

What a friendly welcome. The service was excellent and the subs are cut fresh in front of you with plenty of fresh toppings to choose from.

Great sandwiches! Love this place. The sandwiches kick but over Blimpie and Subway. They do a great job and I certainly recommend them.

Staff there do not know how to follow simple instructions towards sandwiches. Meat is also raw.

We ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches that should take no more than 10 minutes at 9:30, and we walked out after 10. The little old man behind the counter who rings people up doesn't call out orders when they come up, he puts them in the warmer. That's where we watched our order go 15 minutes before we realized, and when we said something, he tried to say "it just came out". Oh and not to mention the lazy bald guy in the purple shirt who isn't helping anyone do anything because he's too busy drinking his coffee. We loved Jay's prior to the new owners, but we will absolutely never be back to give whoever bought it business. Our food looks like shit too, by the way.

This time around I ordered the salami and blue cheese and the roast beef special. The cheese and bread are all super fresh, but that didn't stop the roast beef sandwich from being a bit bland. The salami and blue cheese sandwich is a favorite of mine, and again was super fresh, but the sandwich was small and doesn't come with any veggies. I think the reason I am giving this two stars, and not three of four, is because of the ambiance and service. This time we waited around 20 minutes just to order our sandwiches, as there was only one person in the front, and they spent 15 minutes letting some people ahead of us sample cheese. The shop was packed, but the line was barely moving. We also saw the employees stick his nose in some mortadella and sniff it... not sure if that was a quality check but it was a bit of a turn-off. The shop itself is cute, but it has no bathroom or indoor seating, which is a must after a long car ride or hike (the area is famous for hiking). There are two outdoor tables, but they are extremely cramped. We sat down with our baby and there just wasn't enough room for us and the three ladies next to us, so my husband ate standing up. The cheese itself is quite nice and the staff is quite knowledgeable about what they products they offer. However, I like to stop here for lunch, and the lunch menu is limited to sandwiches. There are only a few sandwiches offered (maybe 5 and two specials) and they don't rotate through menu items very often, so I feel like I've tried each sandwich they offer multiple times over at this point. The sandwiches are usually quite bare and don't come with many veggies or variety. So that being said, I've been returning less because I'm a bit bored by the offerings.

It was rich, sweet, savory, and packed with real pieces of bacon such a unique and unforgettable combination and it had a spice to it as well what paired well with The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to perfection. I've been here a few times and will just add that the food isn't amazing and is typically slow to come out (not expecting that much given that the place is small and can get crowded). Today they had no real lunch items except for soup and a few pre-made sandwiches, all egg or breakfast items even after 11. I wouldn't order the avocado toast again; while the egg was made well, the avocado was spread pretty thinly and the toast very thin and ordinary. The chicken and Waffles with Sriracha maple syrup was pretty good and the gruyere, mushroom, spinach and egg sandwich as well. I think everything is fine, including the bakery, but nothing really stands out. $10 minimum for credit cards. They close on Mondays and Tuesdays. They don't have a big lot but do have overflow parking.
