My first time at this particular location but not my first time at Jersey Mike's. I am so happy there is a Jersey Mike's close to home! They had just opened so the line was out the door, but the staff handled it perfectly. Even though it started outside, I had my sandwiches within minutes. Jersey Mike's cuts the meats when you order the sandwiches so it's very fresh. And you can tell how fresh the rolls are by their softness. They have a pretty simple and straight forward menu of sandwiches that you can order by number. My favorite is the #7 Turkey but today I also got the #13, the Original Italian. I got my sandwiches cold but you can get them hot as well. I order "Mike's Way" which is onions, lettuce, tomato, vinegar and oil and spices. It makes it so easy to order. You can add other items as well. For me, Jersey Mike's is the best when you want a traditional submarine sandwich. So, if I were to compare, hands down they are better than: Subway, Which Wich, Quiznos, Togo's and a handful of other fast sandwich places. There are deli's that make incredible sandwiches but for a fast, quick and very fresh sandwich, I don't think you can do better than Jersey Mike's and this store is a welcome addition! read more

Don't bother using new app. Glitchy. Got order wrong, but the worst part is that they had no idea how to handle the problem. It's a pandemic, and no one should wait around in a restaurant right now. How about, "let me fix it for you. If you give me your credit card and wait outside I will get your order fixed." Simple. That's all. Basic customer service. You have no customers inside and three pick up orders waiting. You will need to get a new protocol to weather this storm. read more

Made the mistake of coming during lunch crowd. Looks like they were making most of the sandwiches great but when it came to any thing other than just standard it was quite the cluster! They actually made two of the sandwiches ordered incorrectly.The person ringing up the order was actually rude. Both to me and his coworkers! Well. I only yelped bc the gentleman at the the counter wasnt interested in providing me with the managers contact info. Entered the establish at 857pm and there hours state they are open until 9. I understand it was right before close and I was happy to take it to go. Gentleman wasnt interested in helping. Instead only told me the clock on the system where I clock in says its 9 o'clock so we are closed. The time clock you see in the backroom which is visible from the register also confirmed it was 857 at this time. If they want to close prior to 9 no biggie. Change your closing time to something earlier. What a colossal waste of a trip. Not who I would want representing my business... read more

Matt & Natalie were awesome! The sandwich was delicious. Service was excellent. Shop is clean. TVs inside. Great location. Highly recommend! I hadn't been to Jersey Mike's in a while. This was my first time here at this location. I walked in and immediately struck up a conversation with Matt, who recommended to me that I order the Club Supreme, regular size. They asked me how I wanted it and they suggested I get it "Mike's way", which is the standard toppings that the shop recommends. Natalie prepared the perfect sandwich. Matt recommended that I add Chipotle mayo. The sandwich was incredible. I loved every bite. I basically devoured it. It was gone in a matter of minutes. I finished wishing there was more. The real strength of this shop though is its service. The entire staff was incredibly courteous and polite. Their willingness to engage in conversation and make suggestions about their sandwich and toppings selection was a great addition to complement their exceptional sandwiches. Matt asked me later on after I had finished my sandwich if it was good, I gave him the thumbs up and he expressed his gratitude and delight in my satisfaction by offering a complimentary cookie. I went up to the counter to get it, and he offered a free cookie for my friend as well. We spoke about UCLA (my alma mater) for a few minutes, too. I like this one. My boys love Jersey Mikes so I come in to grab them subs. It's clean and friendly. They do have tables but this one is not very big. They have their usual line of sandwich makers so it goes quickly even if it's noon and the lunch line is long. Their meat is cut to order and they have so many topping choices. Besides lettuce and tomato, they have a red pepper relish, banana peppers, pickles and the rest. Oh, and if you are craving one of those old fashioned Giant pickles, they keep a jar on the countertop! A must remember when I want one of those. read more

Never been to a jersey mikes before. Pleasantly surprised. It's super clean, friendly employees, and the sandwiches are super fresh and delicious. You have the option of getting your sandwich "mikes way" which is just pretty much everything on it. Glad I made the choice to get it this style. The oils added a pop of extra flavor. Pretty much an overpriced subway and the sandwiches were lacking in flavor. Only two types of bread offered (white or wheat) and it had a chewy consistency to it. The product is good, I tried them again. My first experience was weird. I eat Jersey Mikes often and this location constantly prompts me for a tip. I thought it was just an aggressive employee. I went back recently for a to go sandwich...and again solicited for a tip. They were so concerned about the tip they forgot my sauce. THE SANDWICH SHOULD ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH IN THE PRICE FOR LABOR. Its not table service!! Stop bugging customers for a tip on the checkout screen its annoying! I wont be back. The cc paperwork will allow us to place a tip if we want to but checking out being asked for a tip seems unnecessary. read more

Quick, fresh and tasty deli sandwiches made to order. I would put it a star below Board 'n Brew and a star or 2 above Subway. Ordered my sandwich in a tub so it was actually a salad, but delicious - lots of turkey and not overdressed with the vinaigrette. My teens love the sandwiches here and this little neighborhood mall is safe and withing walking/boarding distance of our house, so they can go with friends. Very pleasant, smiling staff, easy location off the freeway and parking for those driving by on the 5 or on their way to the beach at Torrey Pines or Del Mar. This location is awesome. I came in today at about 4:30 pm and they really impressed me. I mentioned the time because I forgot to ask their names but the crew that was working at that time was super nice. They could tell I was exhausted from work plus it's like 100 degrees outside so they did everything they could to make me feel better. I will visit this location everytime I'm in the area. I recently moved back to Del Mar and what made me really happy was that there is now Jersey Mike's here. Even better, Chris Richie former manager of the Mira Mesa location is now the manager in Del Mar. Brand new location with the old quality I'm used to at Jersey Mike's. Food is fast and the area are friendly, even if they get something wrong, which is rare. I came in today with the same high hopes as last time. I'm one of their regulars here, but this time a new girl took forever to make my sub. Once they brought it out of the microwave the bread was soggy. I just got a new one after sending it back. Ordered online for pick up. Arrived and it was pretty busy, was able to grab my order after a few minutes. When I got home the order was unfortunately not correct. I think they were having issues with the POS. I called and spoke with a girl who was very apologetic and immediately remade the order correctly and the manager went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I am a huge fan of Jersey Mike's subs but after my experience at the Del Mar location today I don't think I'll ever be coming back. The customer service is lacking. My husband ordered a cold sub and the gentleman making his sandwich was very rude and irritated. As he was making the sandwich, he dropped the vinegar bottle into the mayonnaise tub (top side) and proceeded to drizzle the sandwich with it. I ordered a hot sub. After taking two bites I realized that there were 3 distinct drops of blood on the bottom of the bread. I should've taken a picture and posted it but I was so disgusted that my husband and I just got up, threw our sandwiches away and left. This was very disappointing. read more

Horrible service! I ordered a sandwich and they decided to put a topping I did not order, nor like. I went back to have it corrected - the employee insisted that I be more clear on the phone, and next time should order online. After I told him I'm a regular, he said he couldn't replace it and would have to charge me again. The most disappointing was he was unapologetic. This is our local Jersey Mike's and probably my favorite, next to Solana Beach store. Owners and staff are great. They support all the local teams and the food is consistently great. As always, I get a #7 unless I'm up for a hot sandwich and then we go with the Philly Chicken. Somehow we never get tired of this place. Enjoy option of new rosemary Parmesan bread too. Parking is mostly easy at this location. I prefer dining outside and saying hello to neighbors and friends we inevitably run into. Did I mention we look for a Jersey Mike's in every town we visit?
