This is my first visit to this Panera Bread location. It seemed relatively clean, and the venue was quiet and peaceful at mid-morning. I was in the mood for something new, so I decided to try the BLT sandwich. The BLT turned out to be completely delicious. It was also almost ludicrously overpriced... The staff was friendly and unobtrusive; I almost felt like I was visiting a library while I was here. All things considered, I'll continue to visit this Panera location when I find myself in the area, but I don't think the BLT is good enough to merit its very hefty price tag.

Southwestern Chicken Ranch Salad & Zesty Tuscan Asiago Bagel Stack (You Pick 2, 1/2 and 1/2)

Stopped by here for lunch after a long local hike w/ our pup. Jeff helped me w/ our dine-in order, and I am grateful for his kindness. (I have also worked in food service & really appreciate the people who have to stand on their feet for long periods of time while assisting customers with their orders). Tried the New Zesty Tuscan Asiago Bagel Stack as part of the "You Pick Two," along with the Southwestern Chicken Ranch salad. The food came out fast, and now all I want to eat at Panera is this exact combo &/or def. the bagel stack item. Yay for a new item that hits all the mark for both taste and satiety. The eatery is very clean compared to all of the other Paneras I have been too, and love the outdoor seating so our pup can enjoy a nice lunch/water break with us.

I love Panera, this is the only bad one I've ever been to in the entire state of CA. Asked them if the Chipotle chicken sandwich had cheese. Said no. Ordered. It came with surprise cheese which wasn't on menu. Took it back. New one came with no sauce. Dry as cardboard. Cost me 9$. Internet isn't working, the only reason I didn't ask for a refund was because I'm starving. 0/10 can never recommend

Caesar salad, French baguette and Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich

Came here for a late lunch with a friend. We were here on Tuesday at approximately 3:15 pm and noticed a large group of high school students dropping in after school. It's a great place after school to grab a snack and use the free wifi the restaurant provides. It did get a little loud, but the students were well mannered and respectful of other patrons. Tip: If you visit and wish for a quieter experience, you may want to visit earlier, before 2:30 pm or later, after 4:30 pm weekdays. I ordered the "Pick Two" option. My order consisted of a half a sandwich (Bacon Turkey Bravo), half a salad (Caesar without Chicken) a 1/4 portion French baguette and a medium coffee. In the past, we used to be able to choose the type of bread we wanted with the sandwich, but I was given no option. We also used to have the option of receiving a choice of sides, an apple, a bag of chips or a French baguette, I was not given a choice for the side as well. For this reason, I deducted a star. My Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich, was delicious. Just the right amount of turkey, cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The turkey had a smoked taste and all the other ingredients balanced the flavor of the sandwich well. The Caesar salad was a half sized serving. The taste was adequate, but you may want to ask for the dressing on the side. Some people like to have more dressing and others may like to have less. Asking for the dressing on the side may give you a better idea of how much flavor you want on your salad. If you need more, you ask for more and if you need less, you can cut back on the amount. All in all, the food was good. I always love the coffee at Panera and I usually love to take my time enjoying every sip. You have a couple of choices to choose from, decaf or extra strength. You also have the choice of milk and sweetner. If you're like me and like to take a cup to go when you leave, request a "to go" cup when you place your order and you'll be all set. Every now and then, I just like to go to Panera for a cup of coffee and a baked good. It's a treat while you surf the web using the provided wifi and you can enjoy as much coffee as you like while you relax.

Guess I missed this Panera location by 11 years since people already put reviews about it. Located in a very populated shopping plaza, also huge building by the way, nice and clean inside, got outdoor seatings, employees greeted you while you were getting drinks, fully stocked on cups, nothing hidden behind the counter, seems like the most normal location I've ever been since November of last year, now that I found out about the place, if I am in between Encinitas and Carlsbad area, I'll know where to hang :)

I'd highly recommend both things I got (Reuben sandwich and mac salad) The reuben sandwich had a perfect amount of meat, perfect taste to it and had just the right of fat (cheese) as well as acidity (sauerkraut!) I would drive from Poway just to get this. Yes, you read that right. The mac salad is a nice add to the meal, the noodles are still very al-dente. The taste is identical to a traditional potato salad except swap the potatoes with al dente mac salad. Owner was super nice and had a lot on his hands but he managed to take 3 or 4 orders in during the time he made my sandwich. And take care of his daughter! I'm definitely coming back. This place gets very high marks on Yelp but I was a little dubious. But it feels great when someone exceeds your expectations. The Reuben sandwich I ordered looked fairly ordinary but it was excellent. I loved it and literally wolfed it down. The basic turkey and cheese sandwich was fresh and delicious. The Italian sandwich (which included your usual assortment of Italian meats) was great. All of the breads used and ingredients were very fresh. I saw them scooping fresh avocado onto the sandwiches. That is what I like to see. They are not skimpy with anything here. These sandwiches are not life-changing but they are very well-made and delicious. The generosity with their ingredients is appreciated. Well worth a visit.

The portion is generous enough to share, and it's so much easier than dealing with the crowds, parking, long waits, or having to bus your own table like we seem to encounter at so many places around San Diego. For dinner, we often stop by the deli and seafood counter to pick up cooked shrimp and a few sides. We take everything back to our Airbnb, warm it up, and enjoy a relaxing dinner on the patio. It's become one of our favorite vacation traditions. The dessert case is incredible, and choosing just one treat is nearly impossible! I do miss the tuxedo custard mousse cake (or whatever it was called)--it was absolutely delicious. It's also a great place to grab lunch meats, fresh rolls, or bread for easy beach sandwiches. Best of all, the staff is consistently friendly and genuinely enjoys chatting with customers. I've had so many pleasant conversations with people at the seafood, meat, and deli counters over the years. Great food, great service, and always a stop we look forward to on every trip.

Based on the description, I expected an individual round quiche that was approximately 4 inches in diameter. Instead, I received a relatively small slice cut from a larger quiche, which was nowhere near what I would consider a 4-inch quiche. It essentially looked like a small little cake slice. They also don't display the quiche, instead they hide the quiche in the back so it just kinda feels deceptive. To make matters worse, the quiche itself was somewhat dry. For $10, I expected a 4" quiche and a better overall experience. I was genuinely excited to try this place and had high hopes, which made the experience even more disappointing. LOL. No but seriously, I am completely and utterly in-love with this place. I am a huge sandwich person but so I am particular about where I go. If I HAD to choose my favorite sandwich, they would be these: -Italian on Dutch crunch roll -Crispy chicken caesar on Dutch crunch roll -Curry chicken salad on focaccia -Tuna on sourdough ( always add the hot pepper salad) *I love the dutch crunch roll for any of the sandwiches but the focaccia also steals the show quite often. I've been here for dinner as well and my recommendations would be: -Charcuterie board -Bruschetta boards ( you pick 2) but my faves are the prosciutto one (the prosciutto is chopped up super small so it's perfect and not all stringy like it can be at times) which comes with mascarpone, pistachios, arugula and lemon curd. My other fave is the brie, green apple with honey and sea salt. Another thing to mention is I'm not a huge brie person BUT I adore it if it's triple cream brie. This my friends, is triple cream so it's fantastic. -The fries are also fantastic and the chocolate chip cookies are fire. I'm not even a sweets person but I inhaled it when I tried it. It was delish. -Italian chopped salad- so good and really light but somehow filling at the same time. In the best way possible. I get it all the time. They have a huge wine selection both at the bar and in their fridge section which you can browse while you're in line. They have a wine club as well! I always love a more local mom n pop type place in general vs chains and this place is just a vibe no matter what time of day you go. The word is definitely out though so it can get busy so cozy up at the bar for a cold one while you wait if you run thirsty like me, ha! Or they have plenty of outdoor seating if you want a ni ce breeze. The owner is rad, the entire staff is sweet, accommodating and overall they just absolutely nailed it here.
