CHIPOTLE @ CARMEL CREEK This Chipotle is located kind of next to the Starbucks in their little plaza and there is so much parking here we easily able to find a spot walking in. This was generally the nicest chipotle I have ever been to. It is so spacious. They have high top tables they also have the low ground ones the boots they also have like the side ones overall this was like definitely a Chipotle that I've never been to and I was super excited too, and it was just so big and I had a buy when you were free in my Chipotle account my friend and I made our way on a Wednesday evening. It was pretty packed for just a random weekday and there are lots of people and we got in line and I was able to get a burrito and I got half steak and half Carnitas and this was super delicious. The guy that was helping me was extremely nice and they didn't really have that much brown rice left and instead of scraping it he had me just wait for a couple minutes which I did not mind at all just to get some new batch of brown rice and it was really nice and all their items are also just was really full. It looked clean and I got like sour cream cheese lettuce. Everything just looks so good and I also asked him to grill my burrito as well if that was possible and he did which was really nice. It was super delicious. I also ended up getting my buy window free. It was such an easy process and I only paid $10 for two items and overall I would definitely return to the Chipotle. I think my only issue is that the tables were all super dirty and I think it's just because of how busy it was in the amount of people that were sitting eating and leaving but overall the experience is great. I would highly recommend stopping by here. I really like the chipotle better than the other ones I've been to and the staff for super friendly. read more

First things first, I'm not one to write a bad review over minor frustrations. And normally, going to this Chipotle has always been a pretty good experience. Today, I was very unsatisfied and honestly in shock over what happened. Number one: my son ordered a burrito with double rice and double chicken. Safe to assume, the first tortilla ripped and was asked if he could double wrap it. We were fine with that. However, his second attempt to wrap it was an incredible failure. He did not tuck in the sides properly and when he tried to wrap it in the aluminum, it was completely undone. Instead of fixing, he grabbed another aluminum and twisted the tortilla in the aluminum like a tootsie roll. Number two: It was the bottom of the barrel chicken. And I heard the other employee say 5 minutes. I told the guy that I would wait for the new chicken. Multiple times. He ignored my requests and continued scraping the bottom of the container for the scraps of shredded chicken. I kept telling him I'd wait and he said, this is "basically almost" the amount and that he could add a couple pieces of steak to make up for it. I still said I'll wait for the chicken. Still ignored me and continued asking what else I wanted thinking he'd fill the extra amount at the end. Not at all. He covered everything and at that point I was so agitated I needed to get out of there before I turned into the kind of customer I hate. Here I am though, writing a review. Unlike most people who would give a one star over one crappy experience, I'm going to give it a 2 star, mainly for being ignored when I said I'd wait for the chicken multiple times. Not sure if this guy was trained properly or if he was just new. But not only did my son get an oversized taco, I was given shredded scraps of leftover chicken. By far the worst employees who have bad attitudes and really don't care at all. Food is good, but asking if your order is ready when its 25 minutes late than when it said it would be ready is not acceptable as the teenage girl working on it made it clear by slamming the bag of food on the table when it was finally ready. Is anyone paying attention? I have to ask - what the actual f*** is wrong with this place?? A couple of weeks ago, you weee out of all sorts of meats and other items by 8 pm. I gave the store another chance and it was EVEN WORSE. Out of cheese, out of guac, people literally waiting for more meat to be cooked- 2 hours before close!! This is honestly an embarrassment!! I even submitted a review to your online survey and the second experience after the first terrible one with the pathetic BOGO coupon used was even WORSE. I frequent this Chipotle and usually have a decent experience, so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, my last visit was extremely disappointing. I placed a mobile order at 12:53 PM (order #E1B-UA2) and didn't receive my food until 1:30 PM -- nearly 40 minutes later. I waited patiently, but the delay was frustrating. When I finally got my food, there was no Tabasco available, so I had to wait again just to get some. On top of that, the employee who prepared the mobile orders during that time (an older woman with glasses and a larger build) told me the cup I was using for soda was "only for water," despite the 16 oz cups on the app clearly stating they can be used for soda or iced tea. I felt extremely disrespected by how I was spoken to, especially as a regular customer. Order is rarely ever made correctly or on time. There's been several occasions where I'll arrive 10-15 minutes after the mobile order pick up time, and there are still 14 mobile orders ahead of mine. The few times that my order is ready on time, several items are made incorrectly or just flat out missing. The only customer service option available is pepper and it lags and is of very little help. Not sure what is going on at this location but it needs serious help. read more

We got this DoorDashed, from this location, need I say no more! Look at this horrible looking bowl! Horrible presentation, hardly any protein, was soaking wet on the bottom. And the chips that came with it were stale. I haven't had chipotle in a long time the kids wanted it, never again!!! I've tried this place 5 times because it's close to my house but each time something has been wrong. All online orders. 3 times the wait time was crazy, it would've been quicker to wait in line. Almost all orders left something out or added something I didn't want. The quality is also not like other chipotles, there's always something weird, the most recent order the lettuce was different and I got corn when I didn't order it and they forgot my chips. The very worst chipotle. And I mean it in every single way. To start off, the GM Toni obviously is oblivious to everything her job entails. The whole store is a complete mess. There's no napkins, to go cups, the counters are a mess, trash is over flowing. Her apprentice Eduardo is just as bad. Not only was he incredibly rude, he insisted my kids plate had TWO too many ounces of steak. I thought it was a joke but nope! Him and Toni insisted they NEED their extra two ounces back or they'd need to charge an extra $7 to make up for their employees mistake. Now I thought it was funny at first. Haha I gave you two bites too many! Ooopsie! But nope! They insisted I pay $17 instead of the $10 or I have them pick out some meats from my plate. After a little back and forth about the ridiculousness of this, they went ahead and started making a new plate. I should have honestly just left right then. But I figured I should grab a few pictures to show everyone what a great environment Toni has been keeping. The worst part is this was during the slowest part of the day. Imagine during a lunch or dinner rush SHOUT OUT TO THE OTHER LOCATION WHO WAS DISGUSTED BT TONI's and EDUARDO's ACTIONS AND OFFERED TO REFUND AND REMAKE MY ORDER! Mixed feelings. I love Chipotle because of their Sofritas option. I'm a vegan and I thought Chipotle was a safe bet. I'm from the Bay Area and have NEVER had a bad experience at Chipotle. However, this location doesn't know how to warm up a tortilla. My wife's burrito was stone cold. I ordered brown and white rice and thought maybe just the brown rice was undercooked but actually both were undercooked. They made my wife a new burrito but they said they would tell the cook about the undercooked rice. I won't be visiting this location again. read more

Among having waiting in line for 10 minutes, felt longer, the service was very slow and careless for food safety requirements and sanitation among the workers. And later on as I felt it progress, I got food poisoning so if I thought that there was something wrong with this specific location, there definitely is with how much of there food I purged from my bowels. Came in here expecting to get a decent size bowl and it was sooooo unbelievably small. it costs 3 dollars to add guacamole and the guy put a quarter of the spoon size into my bowl. he put 4 pieces of steak inside my bowl and literally the smallest dollop of rice to where u could see the bottom of the bowl. so many empty patches of where there was no food. i told him why it was so small, he went to add more and his coworker was there and turned around and didn't fix it. literally never come here unless you want to beg for a proper portion. it's expensive here and they barely give you anything. do not come to this location at all if your hungry. complained to the front and all they gave was extra rice. i'm outraged at this location and their pathetic customer service! go to a better chipotle at another location read more

I'm not sure what happened, but the staff for the last few months has consistently been super kind and on point with the orders. I don't k know why but the server was very rude towards me, after I finished my order, he threw my bowl hard on the counter and was very rude the entire time while I stayed polite and saying thank you and please. I decided to order through the App for the first time ever. What a mistake that was. The food was ready 20 minutes late. I could have ordered three times by standing in line while I waited for my order. This defeats the purpose of ordering ahead! Every table was dirty at the restaurant. The ice dispenser was empty. The outside eating area was completely filthy with napkins and leaves blown all over the area. The rice wasn't complete cooked either. The employee finalizing orders for pick up was clearly unhappy as there were more people waiting for their orders than people ordering at the regular counter. Why couldn't they help fill the app orders? The printer stopped working and you could see the frustration increase. Felt sorry for her.
