I had a coupon for a free regular sub, thanks to T-Mobile Tuesday so we finally decided to redeem it for a philly cheesesteak. Hubby and both had the Big Kahuna Cheesesteak. He added a note to his to add chipotle mayo, and they did. I was a little surprised because usually, these notes in the notes section go ignored. The sandwich was good but it was much better with the chipotle mayo. I wasn't expecting much but I was pretty impressed by this philly and shocked at how much I enjoyed it. It was better than most pizza places that serve phillies, where the meat is dry and the bread is hard or chewy. This philly was legit, even for a chain. I still haven't found my go-to philly spot since moving to the area but I actually think Jersey Mike's might be a good contender. read more

Unfortunately, I hate to echo all the other most recent reviews for this Jersey Mike's, because I love going here and I certainly love their subs, but the online ordering is just a hot mess. I have no problems when I go in, stand in line, and order at the counter. It moves pretty quickly. BUT, whenever I order via the online app it is never ready when the app says it will be. I'll even arrive late and my order still takes extra time to make. I've stood waiting for my order as people standing in line and ordering at the counter have come and long gone. I love Jersey Mike's and of course I will continue to patronize it, but when it comes to their online ordering system I'll continue to add extra time to the estimated pick up time. My first time posting a review of a fast food location as one of the larger chains, but Jersey Mike's has become a beat-the-heat/summer go-to as a refreshing way for the family to have a quick meal. It's a bit pricey for a meal for three in comparison to a Subway (or a Blimpie if you can find one anymore), but the focus is definitely on giving more of the interior ingredient versus bread ratio... And, in that regard, Jersey Mike's leaves Subway (and it's turkey-based meat fillings) in the dust. If the price point was just a little less... Or if the peppers on a Philly Cheesesteak were cooked to soften a bit better (the second time I got one)... Or if it wasn't one of the larger fast food chains around... I just might give Jersey Mike's FIVE stars. Being as often as it IS a summertime go-to -- Perhaps downloading the app (and getting whatever reward they offer) would be a wise thing to do, and might push it closer to that level. read more

Jersey Mike's is definitely better than the likes of Subway, Blimpie and Firehouse Subs. (But we both know the bar wasn't all that high when it comes to sandwich-chains.) And maybe it's not right to compare them to the countless delis and sandwich shops in North Jersey because it wouldn't be a fair fight. But just judging them independently in regards to price, how the finished sub (I mean hoagie, I mean grinder, I mean hero, I mean...) tastes, the cleanliness of the shop, etc. - Jersey Mike's is mighty fine. Their #13 ('The Original Italian', my standard go-to) is solid. (And to their credit - they're open more/longer than most delis - in case you do get a craving for a sub at an odd time.) Workers are always friendly. (Some old-timers at your favorite deli don't mind letting you know they have a chip on their shoulder and you'll deal with it.) And I can't give Jersey Mike's enough credit for all they've done since the world got hit with COVID-19... helping with meals for the kids in need when schools started to close and donating a percentage of sales to Feeding America - that's awesome and they deserve a star just for that. read more

Am kind of really hating to give Jersey Mike's a 2 but for the last 3 times I did on line orders and given a time......I've had to wait almost 30 minutes more that time given. If I placed an order at 6pm you tell me my order is going to be ready at 6:20, I'm rushing to get what I need to get so I can pick food up either on time or shortly thereafter.......NOT 30-40 MINUTES. I think they either need to hire more people to assist with the overflow of patrons or give it up. My opinion, hire more staff. You got a good thing going on here. read more

My hubby loves their giant sized Chicken Cheesesteak #31 or their Turkey & Swiss! Add on a drink and some chips and we are set. Their roast beef and tuna are also good, but I found the RB isn't piled high so it left me kind of disappointed as I ate more bread than meat. IMO, Jersey Mike's is the best fast food sub chain, period. Everything is sliced fresh while you watch. Staff is friendly and accommodating. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and satisfied. Jersey Mike's has taken the Subway concept and improved on it in both process and food quality. Taste and quantity of meats and garnishings are a full cut above. Of course all of that freshness and cut to order goodness does come at a price as they're about 20-25% higher priced than their downscale competitor. But for me, who eats at one or the other once or twice a month, I'd rather pay the extra money and go to Jersey Mike's. They also have a much larger staff than your average Subway or Quizno's so the wait is a lot shorter during those times when you need to order and get the hell on your way. Really great place. I was amazed at how ridiculously skimpy my sandwich was when it came to the cold cuts. There was barely a thin layer of each. This Jersey Mike's popped up in this strip mall very stealthily. It seems like a small space between Five Guys and Chipotle, but it's bigger than you'd think and there are a lot of tables in there. OK, it's a chain, so if you've gone you know the food. But props always go out to places with nice employees and clean, well-kept restaurants. There is also plenty of parking and a Starbucks steps away for coffee and dessert. If you haven't been, it's a sub shop with a Chipotle-like assembly line. The bread is fresh, and on the softer side. The menu has just enough to select from and I like that. A 'regular' size is plenty for lunch. I just had lunch there and it was really good. So 3 1/2-4 stars for this Jersey Mike's if you're craving a sub. read more

Went to Jersey Mike's and ordered a sandwich as usual , people multitasking and a guy in front of me orders a cheese stake so the employee grabs the raw chicken with her gloves on and throws the steak on the grill for then tells another employee to finish it and starts cutting my meat for the sub. I immediately thought cross contamination but I really regret not saying anything and little do you know ,no longer than 30 minutes later I had the runs and still do today. Someone has to really sit these people down and explain to them the consequences and to finish one task especially when it comes to cross contamination. Jersey Mike's is between a starbucks, an salad works, an asian place, a Five guys, and a Chillis. I have to admit I've been curious about Jersey Mike's. I ordered a hot chicken philly with peppers added on their italian focaccia bread. The staff was uber pleasant and friendly. The shop was super clean. My sandwich was $8.50 and I enjoyed it. It was filling but not too heavy. I got the regular size. Tasted very fresh and was not greasy or oily. Next time I'd probably ask them to toast the bread but it was fine as is. read more

I was getting a bit nostalgic while watching the staff prepare my wrap and the gluten free sandwich. I used to go to Blimpies and Subway but stopped as I got older. This place was fun and very active. I observed it was clean and had a very friendly atmosphere. The chicken wrap was delicious and very filling. But the MVP of the lunch was the gluten free sandwich I tried and my girlfriend ate. It's so good knowing that Jersey Mike's has gluten free bread for its patrons.
