SO BAD! Not sure what was going on but we pre-ordered for pick up and didn't leave until 40 min after our pick-up time. Wasted so much time waiting. No sense even trying to order ahead. There were 6 adults working so I'm not sure why they couldn't get it together. Many other customers were also very frustrated, including a lunch catering order. The line was about to go out the door as they just couldn't keep up. No one was really apologetic or offered us anything to make up for our wasted time. Nice place. Neat, clean, organized and well maintained. The team here was very friendly and helpful. The service was a bit slow as they have to make all the items to order. On this trip I had a Club sandwich made into a salad. The salad was fresh. As a salad it lacks all the side garnishments that made a salad good. There were plenty of delicious meats and cheeses. Service is absolutely horrible. Three people working on a Friday night. Been in line with three ahead of me for over 20 min and no order taken yet! I get they are busy, but there is no sense of urgency whatsoever! This crew doesn't work as a team. They take online orders over those in the store waiting in line. I stopped by this location on my way home to Indy from Michigan. Perhaps the worst "fast food" experience of my life. What should have been a quick ~20 minute stop turned into a 50 minute ordeal. I heard the apparent shift leader say that he was down one person, but that wasn't the only problem. While he took orders and started the sandwich, a second employee added the non-meat items and condiments. She apparently knew in the job and was lost. Three other employees were flitting around doing other things, but nobody offered to help her. There were continuously 10-12 people in line waiting for the sandwiches. Sometimes the second employee had 4-5 sandwiches waiting for her to finish them. One time I saw her lay the towel she was using to wipe her hands on the workspace next to, and in contact with a sandwich. I should have walked out then, but didn't want search for another place for lunch. The sandwich flavor was only okay, not what I've had with other locations. Finally, the fountain drink dispenser was adjusted so there was not enough syrup in the mix and the drinks (I tried several) were almost bitter. Normally I am not a fan of subs as most of them use poor quality meats and cheeses. I needed a quick meal for my husband and I before leaving for a Christmas light display. We ordered the Italian Sub which included four different italian meats and some provolone cheese. We chose the rosemary cheese roll, although rosemary flavor was undetectable. We topped with all the usual sub toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, oil and vinegar. The sandwich was very tasty and was filling - we split a giant size sandwich. It's now 7:01 PM on the busiest intersection in north FW. The sign on the door said they were closing at 7 due to staff shortage. However there were 4 employees there working that I could count. Mgr lady apologized for them being short handed (only 2 people there working) her and this super nice big guy knocked out all the orders and made everyone feel great with there super service. subs looked great, tasted great, store looked good. both of these rock stars deserve a big freaken raise and all the praise you can give them and more.. this is why I go there and trust me when I want a great product I drive almost an hour to get it. 5 stars all the way, wish I had gotten there names. read more

This location used to be one of the best in town. In recent months, even on their best day, the highest rating I could give the store would be poor. Their hours are erratic and seem to change frequently. Staff attitudes are horrible, and I usually feel as though I am inconveniencing them with my order. On today's visit, before the door even closed behind me, a staff member belted out that they only had enough bread left in the store to make one sandwich. This is unacceptable for a restaurant that franchises nationwide. I don't know if leadership has recently changed at this location or if they're just struggling, but I would not recommend this Jersey Mike's to anyone. read more

I love Jersey Mike's and was the only sandwich shop I'd go to in Illinois (south suburbs of Chicago). When moving to Fort Wayne, I was excited to a JM so close to our new house... However, this location is a joke compared to those restaurants. Hours are apparently a suggestion here, as well as hats and gloves. Sandwiches are good... But that's due to the ingredients and menu, definitely not the staff. Employees often disheveled and standing around. Dirty tables needing to be wiped down, and nowhere near the personality that I've come to expect from Jersey Mike's. I've even ordered from the app a couple times to come in on my lunch break and both times, I still had to wait for my sandwich even though I placed the order 15-20 minutes prior and the shop was empty (except for the dirty tables). When you get off work at 7pm, it's disappointing to pull into the parking lot and find that they just decided to close early... I really hope these issues are unique to the lima Rd location... I haven't tried the Jefferson location yet. read more

The kid running the register had his gloves on the entire time, from ringing customers up, to making sandwiches, handing out drinks, getting bags, sides of juice/oil, etc. Never did he take off his gloves, and that is extremely disgusting, he might as well just not even wear gloves. I desperately wanted to ask him to don fresh gloves when he was finishing my sandwich, but was afraid I would sound like a jerk, so I refrained.. The kids at that store, though very kind, need a retraining on proper glove usage. I wouldn't even be writing this complaint hadn't this been the second time at this exact location that this happened and with another kid. The last time I went, he got mayo on his gloved fingers and proceeded to wipe the mayo on his pants and keep making my sandwich! OH MY! I was mortified. He too did EVERYTHING with gloves on, rang up customers, made sandwiches, probably even used the restroom with gloves on. I'm JUST SAYING. If I was giving stars for food then 5 stars. But at 3 on a Saturday afternoon, we were 7th in line. 2 employees working full out trying to service in store orders and online orders. Both did a great job and I'm guessing someone called in sick or like everywhere else, they are short staffed. My complaint is the dirty dining room. We had to wipe a table off with napkin. Oh wait our napkin holder was empty. Got some napkins at the drink machine and holder had yuck spilled all over it. Trash can overflowing and floor dirty. The entire dining area needed cleaned and the windows needed washed. If you don't have the staff to do it, hire a cleaning company. Loved the food but not the surroundings. Shoutout to Jersey Mike's on Lima Rd. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC customer service!! I placed an order online and when it was delivered, we received a completely different sandwich than what we ordered. Because they do delivery by 3rd party service, I had to physically drive down there to pick up my corrected order. Not only did they hand me the original sandwich order I placed, they also made a fresh one and gave me both with a card for a free sandwich. They went ABOVE & BEYOND!! I will give them a 5 on the product. I do think they make a really good sandwich which is due to a corporate franchise standard so you know for the most part, it will be good, freshly sliced and made to order since you're standing there watching. I'd give them about a 2 on customer service. The one girl was pleasant enough but the other seemed more bothered that we were there to purchase sandwiches. A little more effort to provide some customer service would be appreciated. I know you're in high school, had a long day, work in a sub shop, and could care less about my dining experience but at exude some peppiness/personality. I used to love this place when they first opened. The subs are great when there used to be competent staff. However most of the time the service is horrible now!! High school kids all standing around like they are half in a daze with no training and there is no leadership. Where are the adult managers supervising these kids?! Hire some adults to lead these kids for goodness sake! Today my husband and I went in and got in line. There were about 4 kids working and 6 customers (including us). The people before us apparently were waiting a very long time and were sitting down. The other two people were asking for refunds because their orders wrong and were taking a super long time.The irritated adults ahead of us said out loud to them, "The service here is horrible!", "You guys suck!", and "Where is the manager?!". The kids just looked at each other. My husband and I just left and went someplace else. The biggest issue is that if they are that terrible at customer service, are they sanitizing the meat slicers and storing food properly?? I am not about to get food poisoning! Placed on online order, picked up the sub and drove home. Once home, I realize it's the wrong order. I tried calling the store with no answer. I go back to the location. The line was backed all the way to the door so I politely go to the counter and spoke to a young girl. I mentioned that this was not my sub. She proceeded to grab it from the counter and throw it in the trash. Never said anything!!! I mentioned to the worker that I thought she was being rude and she got mad and said, "you didn't want it, correct"....obviously the answer was no, BUT I wanted the sub I ordered online! Had to get back in the long line as they refused to correct the mistake at that moment. I get back out of line and asked for a refund. I was granted the refund, however no apologies, etc! I will NEVER go back to this location. I will choose Penn Station over this! Operations/Managers- please train your employees on customer service and how to deal with these types of scenarios! Horrible customer service! I went there with a friend and she specifically asked for just a little bit of oil on her sandwich. The guy making it still doused it in oil and then when my friend asked if he could at least wipe it off a little bit, he goes under the counter and reaches for a dirty rag... Then holding it over her sandwich to wipe it! She had to actually tell him to not do that! Disgusting! We were both shocked at what had happened while the other employees stood there and laughed. Decided to try this place since we've driven by it several times and were tired of Subway. I wasn't really expecting much out of the ordinary for a chain but was pleasantly surprised. The employees greeted us and explained how the restaurant worked, which we appreciated. We chose our subs and they cooked them up, then we headed home. I was utterly delighted when I bit into mine. I ordered the Philly steak with chicken. It was juicy, tasty, and warm. Overall it was a good experience. The Philly cheesesteak sub with jalapeños is my fave. I had a mikes sub (I actually do not remember what the sub is called since it has been a while) and it was eh. We have been here twice and both times the service was not good. "Do you know what you want to order" is not a pleasant greeting anywhere - but the amazing thing is that the first time we were there it was the owner/manager who greeted us this way. If you are standing there looking at the menu with a puzzled look on your face either the menu is too confusing or this might be your first time here. How about saying "is this your first time visiting us?" Oh well rude people and it was strange that of the 6 or so people working no one was smiling. We visited because of coupons and neither time the food was very good. The meatballs are pre-made as well as the sauce and the "chicken" is actually sheets of meat that are tossed on the grill and then chopped up. The peppers had a strong vinegary flavor so that is basically all you tasted. The cheese is a processed type like a white American or Swiss cheese would be and it was just OK. They have a limited selection of chips as well. About the best thing was the fountain drinks. We will not be back. The place is too expensive (even with coupons), the food is not very good, and the place is not very friendly. My husband along with our son and I really enjoy this sandwich place. We always get the same items. My son and I both get a regular size #9. They have the best roast beef (which they cook themselves in the store). My husband enjoys a giant size #8. I also have it "Mike's Way". The rewards program is good and points add up fast if you go on double points days! Last night the owner asked me if he could take an extra minute to weigh my sandwich for training purposes. He wanted to make sure I was getting every ounce of meat I was suppose to get. This is so much better than other sub places!!! read more
