I will not be going back here again. I had a similar experience at this same Deli Delicious a couple of months ago. I thought perhaps they had an off day, and I should try it again, so I did, and let me say this, the sandwich was awful. I ate half because I was very hungry, but the other half went to the trash. This establishment has really gone downhill. I will not recommend it or be back. A waste of $10.20 (sandwich only), places like this that lack quality are the reason people are avoiding eating out. After not eating Deli delicious for over a year, I still think Deli Delicious is absolutely delicious. Had the turkey, salami, and cheddar cheese this go around and the combination of the veggies and meats are so good! They also make it look so appetizing which I love. I hate it when the workers put it together in a messy way. It's always nicely made. Also, just a tip- best to order the sandwiches without the sprouts. 4/18/25 Getting lunch! Have a discount too! Yes! Thank you! Greeted upon entering and ordered the highly recommended Chipotle Chicken combo with no mayo or mustard and jalapeños added. Paid for the order, got Diet Dr. Pepper and they have a favorite, baked sour cream and cheddar chips, got and shortly later order was ready end slid over with good day wishes! Appreciated! We came in an hour before they closed and first thing they say is we are closing soon so no fries. Well didn't bother us as we came for a sandwich. Sandwich came out perfect with tons of toppings. The experience was just weird as we got a vibe we weren't wanted there as they wanted to close early I guess as it was an hour before their closing time. Was visiting from Southern California and needed to grab something to eat at an event I was up in Fresno for. Saw the location with the door open and went inside, but the ladies there informed me they weren't open yet. The woman behind the counter was super nice and said that she would go ahead and make me my sandwich even though they weren't open yet! So glad she did- having never been here before, I ordered a roast beef and turkey on Dutch crunch and the sandwich was delicious. Lightly toasted bread to make it warm and crunch up the top with medium rare beef and turkey. Great sandwich and great people. Enjoy!! read more

This is the best Deli Delicious location in the Fresno area that I have come across! Their service and quality is top notch. There are a couple locations closer to where I live, but I will go out of my way for the experience they offer. They really do put care and attention to detail in making their sandwiches. Sometimes I feel like other locations can skimp you with the ingredients, but I never feel that way here. What is supposed to be cold in the sandwich is cold and what is supposed to be hot is hot. They also toast their bread just right to me. Sometimes I have found other locations can toast their bread so much that it dries it out and makes it hard and you risk scrapping the roof of your mouth. Here the bread is warm, soft, and slightly toasted. Again, I really feel they take their time to pay attention to these details and I greatly appreciate it! Ok, the word is out about this location. I hope they get even busier for their sake, but will have to possibly wait a little bit longer, but it's worth it! Thanks again! read more

This place is awesome. I come with my tennis friends every Saturday for lunch. The owner goes out of her way every day to see that customers are happy. This place has both wonderful customer service and wonderful sandwiches! Unfortunately, I have even found myself wasting time and gas, driving right past a terrible Deli Delicious, just so I can eat at this one! Obviously, of course, that's not fair to the staff. I've written in to the contact form on the Deli Delicious website to explain this, but I don't think anyone reads those comments, so I finally decided to post it here. I hope the company does make it up to the staff at the Copper location somehow! Have been getting sandwiches at this location for some time now instead of going to it's competitor that is closer to my house because of the better quality, even though it is more expensive. The last couple of times though, Deli Delicious has been getting skimpier on the amount of meat they put on their sandwiches. For the cost of their sandwiches, they need to put a more generous supply of protein. Got the turkey, bacon, avocado, and provolone sandwich when we went here!! And also used the Yelp checkin to get a free regular size drink!! :)) Good for a quick bite to eat! The portion of turkey was quite generous and the combo was delicious! I've been to Deli Delicious many times at several different locations, and this one is by far the most disappointing. Beer battered fries are usually soggy and they're stingy on the meat. Tonight took it to a new level though and I've included the picture. I've gotten the roast beef dip more times than I can count at other locations and I can usually actually taste the meat, rather than the sandwich being 90% bread. Also, one of the guys didn't close the Au Jus container and then put the box in sideways so the liquid spilled all in the bag and over the sandwich, making it soggy by the time I got home. I visited this location for the first time yesterday and the second today. This is the only eating place close to me. I had the hot pastrami yesterday, with "the works". Great roll, slightly toasted. Very tender and flavorful pastrami. "The works" has mayo, tomato, onions, pickle slices, shredded lettuce, mustard, banana peppers, and seasonings. Their sandwiches come in 4", 6", 8" and (gulp) 12" sizes. Rolls come in white, wheat and sourdough. They've got cold subs, specialty subs and hot subs. Even vegetarian. Oddly, I thought, no Italian sub! Today was the hot roast beef, with mushrooms and jack cheese. You can eat in or take out. Combos also available. There are a few close to where we live, but the manager of this one in particular is very friendly and considerate. I took my grandmother here recently, and she's always a bit slow and indecisive when it comes to food, but he was very patient and helped her choose by recommending some things. So disappointed in my Copper Ave. Deli Delicious take out order. Maybe they're under new ownership...not sure. Based on all my previous experiences, I was shocked to get a sloppy, put-together, ham/cheese sandwich--so unlike anything I've seen before. It doesn't even come close to any of your photos. Plus, the whole wheat bread was dried out (I ordered it to be non-heated) so that leads me to believe it was stale rather than being soft. To me, what I got was ham, cheese, onions, and waxed peppers tossed haphazardly on the sandwich and mayo and mustard squirting out the side of the bread. It was very unappealing and no different that sandwiches from other competitive chains. read more

Called in a takeout order: a six-inch turkey, bacon, jack and a six-inch french dip. Very disappointed in the order. The bread seem old and was crumbly. The french dip was the worst I have ever had at any place, and I get this sandwich quite often all over town. The meat was way pink and was cold. The cheese was not melted. And the au jous was inexplicably cold like it had been sitting in a fridge. I question if this particular shop even knows how to prepare a french dip sandwich. One star since the staff is pleasant but I will avoid this DD shop and stick with the better one near CSUF that I frequent during the work week. read more

I've been to this location many times. My first time was for a quick business lunch. My client was golfing that day at the golf course behind the deli. I usually go to a Deli Delicious closer to my house so I know their food well. This location though was a little different. The vibe was great. Music was at a good level, the staff was clean and really happy, the place was super clean and of course the food was as great as I was used too. Now I drive to this location even though it's a few miles further. When I have a quick business meeting I try to go there. It's also alot cheaper then a quick business lunch at the golf course. read more
