Been awhile since I updated my review here. Updating based on my visit today. I love Jersey Mike's and still feel it's the best quick sub shop out there. My old go to use to be the #13, these days it is a #6, sub provolone for Swiss and in a bowl vs. on the bread. Tastes great and not too heavy, etc. Love their bread, meats and other topping, but trying to eat better and really watch my sodium, just trying to be healthier where possible. With that out of the way, to this location. Typical decor and seating inside, clean and nice. The employees seemed very friendly as I had said previously, there are the regulars, they know and know their orders which is great. But me being an occasional customer, they would not know my order, which is fine. But there were some misses here, this my 4 stars vs my old 5 stars. My order is not complicated and always the same. I ordered as I said a #6, sub Swiss in a bowl. Started making a #3 or #7, not sure if it was ham or Turkey, either way, had to stop them to get the roast beef. Not a big deal it happens. They seemed a little annoyed, but once they changed it, the amount of meat and cheese was very minimal, much less than what it should have been. I accepted it, no stress. Asked for a little more lettuce, gave me just that, very little more, asked for extra onion and tomato, as that is all I wanted on it, again, was like pulling teeth, did not put much on, even after asking for extra. Wanted black pepper only, no salt, they started adding salt, not pepper, stopped them again. Thought about asking it to be made again, as I am avoiding excess salt, but did not want to bother. Just took it as is. Normally, I will have some extra left after ordering this exact combination tons of times, this time, ate it all and still felt hungry. A bit of a disappointment today. But I do love Jersey, so still 4 stars, everyone has an off day. Enjoy!

The last time I had a Jersey Mike sub was eons ago (and it wasn't at this location.) I guess it didn't make that great of an impression because I've never been back since. There are so many other places offering similar (or possibly even better) sandwiches Jersey Mike's has (okay, truth is I'm making that assumption since I've never been at this location before) so the only way to find out is to try them out again, right?! The only sandwich that caught my eye was their famous Philly, so I went for that. Since there were no other customers ahead, getting my sammich was pretty fast! VERDICT: Nothing spectacular, but I felt it was above par. The rosemary bread added a little umph to each bite. The meat could use a bit more seasoning. The cheese wasn't overbearing. I liked it. FOOD: 3.5. SERVICE: 5. Staff were SPECTACULAR. I was with two other peeps who were a little persnickety with their orders and preppers were champs at it, "No problem!" When about half a dozen people came through behind me, their staff was prepared to handle them. A couple of them were multitasking while working together to get orders filled. Their teamworking was incredibly impressive! VALUE: 4. More than fair for what you get. I had a "regular" and it ended up yielding 2 meals for me! PARKING: Shared with others. Since they're so close to Starbucks and Albertson's, it can get crowded, but not really an issue if you're willing to walk a few more feet. OVERALL: 4.25. I was a little surprised I liked it more than I thought I would. They're one to consider for a lunch rush meal!

One person, one sandwich, one request, good tip, still got it wrong, smh.

Hot sandwiches are too salty so it can be overwhelming. Going for cold cuts only from now on, those are my favorites too. Person behind the stove needs to pay attention to the orders, no cheese is an option for a reason. Some of us get really sick with cheese. This place looked clean.

    #11 Mikes Way.

This place has gone down. This sandwich was pathetic for $11.15+tax. If you're going to cheap out sandwiches, then just close the business. Total insult to the Jersey Mike's chain. This looks like the beginning of the end for this location.

The 2 ladies working REFUSED to sell me guac ! They lied told me they don't sell guac ! Hahaha. I'm shocked . Did the menu just sporadically change on me without notice ? I eat at Jersey Mikes very often . It was 9pm when I walked in . One blonde hair girl and the other dark brown hair girl was very unprofessional ! She was also being a sarcastic and asked if another food store nearby doesn't have any ? That's not what I asked . First , I'm told that they don't sell guac . I said that's interesting, since when ? The blond hair girl responded we don't have guac and we're actually closed . Which scenario is it ? The store being closed or they don't sell guac ? I'd take this to management or corporate for lying to a customer and refusing to serve them. The door was open so next time you want to close the store early , make sure to lock the door so customers can know . Lying to a customer is NEVER ok , regardless of the situation. If I come in ANY STORE and ask to purchase something REGARDLESS of what's in my hand should not LIMIT my service especially if I'm paying . I'll be taking further action .

The Reuben with corned beef and the Reuben with pastrami. Both plates come with your choice of a salad and pickles. I recommend the potato salad; it's my culinary guilty pleasure. Truthfully, I don't get that much a smoky taste from the pastrami, but it's still delicious. That corned beef is so wonderful, it's so tender and falls apart so easily upon a bite. Their soda menu is a very lowkey, unsung hero. I've tried soda brands you don't typically see in grocery stores. Their ginger ale hits the spot without fail each time. I think one drawback is that this place doesn't allow adjustments. I've personally never asked for any, but I can see how other customers might find that off-putting. I typically do a pick-up order vs. dining in, but when I do enjoy the sandwich in the restaurant - the service is super quick and cordial. The interior of the place itself isn't exactly upscale, but it's also more polished than a standard diner. TONS of seating inside and a few tables outside if you want to enjoy your food with some fresh air. I'm not in New York often, but I'm so glad I can get some quality food with east coast hospitality locally.

Walking up to the restaurant, I noticed there were many outdoor patio tables lining the sidewalk. The deli counter is the first thing you see when you walk in, but there's a huge indoor dining area. The sign states to seat yourself, so as soon as I seated myself, staff provided me with a menu. I ordered a coffee and hot pastrami sandwich on rye bread which comes with a choice of salad. I chose the cucumber salad. The pastrami sandwich was huge. It was packed with a lot of high quality, tender pastrami meat. The plate also comes with a side of pickles, so yes, I was full afterwards. My coffee cup was always filled, tasted good, and hot. The two staff that were waiting on all the tables were friendly and efficient. There was never a moment I felt neglected. It's prefect for both small and large groups. Parking: Free, shared strip mall. Crowded, small parking spaces.

I came in knowing that I was looking for San Antonio Wineries Marsala, and did find some San Antonio wines on the vast wall of wine, but I couldn't find the Marsala and asked at the counter if they carry "semi sweet Marsala," (there's a whole name thing with this, but you got to know, as I was educated by one of the other wine shops I had visited!). I was pointed to the cooking section and told they had two brands: Tony's and San Antonio. Without really knowing that I knew what I needed that I had been unable to find elsewhere, they met my goal of finding this very specific item. Meanwhile, though not my first visit, but a long time since my last, I couldn't help but notice how large the space is, and how much they have to offer. Only half of the space is a store. In the back, they have a full bakery of popular Italian treats. Bombolinos and cookies and even basque cheesecake! Then they have sandwiches and other homemade meals that you can purchase by the pound. And to top off the experience, you don't have to wait to get home - there's a fountain for beverages and you can eat your deliciousness in their large dining area. I personally will be back for a lunch visit, at some point. For now, I'm going to be using that Marsala wine to attempt duplication of a nearby restaurant's chicken Marsala recipe!
