This place is a hot mess. Seriously I don't know why I return. Messy. Employees rude to each other (the poor new guy has to endure rude coworkers). Seriously behind on orders. Zero customer service. I just had a baseball game and was so hungry and eager to eat jersey mikes after, and we get to this one and see it opens at 10 and it's 9:55 so we think "oh we'll just wait 5 minutes for it to open" we are currently still still waiting for the lady inside to unlock the door and it is 10:15. Absolutely ridiculous. And we tried knocking on the door to get her attention but she had AirPods in so she couldn't hear us. Horrible worker, horrible service, just terrible!! read more

First off when I walked in the (mixed African American male) in slicer was watching a video on his phone. After a few seconds he finally acknowledged me but didn't wash his hands before taking my order. He also wasn't wearing his mask properly and he wasn't wearing an apron and had gold chains hanging from his neck. Last I check that is a high food violation? Anyway the lady who was sprinkling was better, wore apron but didn't have mask on properly. The place was dirty, they had their iPad on the counter with lettuce on it, and the rest of the counter was messy with crumbs all over. The bacon looked like it was yesterday's bacon. All 3 employees were rude and not very helpful while we were in this evening. One of my friends had asked to get a mini #17 but was informed that yall dont make hot sandwiches in the mini sizes. Staff ignored us for the first 5 minutes. They were busy packaging a large delivery order. we ordered our sandwiches after waiting another 8 minutes after they instructed us to go to the "end" to order. No one was in the place but us. Then they asked us if we wanted chips and a drink with our sandwiches and we said yes. We paid then asked for our cups and they gave us 1 cup. I asked for the second cup and they said I only paid for 1. Yet they wouldn't give me a receipt so I could see the charges. They had to ring up another cup and charge my cc again for their mistake. They were rude and didn't really want to be bothered. Will not be returning. No receipt the second time either. Who knows what I was charged. read more

Good place to get a decent sub. The bread was fresh, turkey and toppings also fresh. Get your sub Mikes way it's the only way. A little more expensive then Subway but you get more meat on your sub. I am very disappointed in this visit. We walked in and were followed by two other groups. We ordered two regular size subs and I noticed as the young lady putting my mikes way together on my subs that one sub either looked bigger then the other and I said wow I wonder if they got my size right. Well the gentlemen who first helped us was very rude and said trust me those Subs are identical as I looked into confusion knowing that's not true. I can't believe as I sat there I saw a manager sitting in the eating area on his computer and not even addressing anything instead just ignoring the situation. I guess my point would be I bought two regular size subs not anything different and if the rolls got butchered some how why am I being served the same as the other one??? Again I witnessed enough to question my return. Money exchange between cashier and customer and then went to straight making someone's food is not right! Also no hospitality at all here! There was no welcome of any sort! Two stars really is border line with me. I would work on team work for sure as I watched one worker not even help the other as she was swamped checking people out and also dressing other peoples subs. Well they recently screwed up my online order and when we went back had an attitude and didn't even have our food ready that they didn't give use the first trip. I went there after the lunch hours. Very noisily, no clean tables, and under the meat cutter there was a pile of meat and cheese. But here is my experience. I finally got but to pay. I paid with cash and the next thing happen. I was giving the wrong change. She caught it but it was in there favor or course. I gave her back all the money she gave me and the she sort of corrected it. I pretty sure she took me. Then she told me that "I am in training." I told her that she needs to know how to manage money. She keep saying "I am in training." I said I don't care about the because she should know how to handle money. I guess that is a training rule. While I was eating my sub and figuring it I got taken they stood behind the counter and didn't even see if the tables were clean... I complain on there web site and never hear anything back. Extremely disappointed with the Glendale location Jersey Mike's... I have just gotten off the phone with my mother who is in tears because The manager of this store, Kaylee, refused to take her 50% off coupon she got by email because she cannot figure out how to work the app. She is not electronically savvy, I have to help her set up anything. She usually goes to a different location in sun city that never gives her any problems doing this. She is loosing hours right now with the covid 19 thing going on and really struggling. I just have to say how disappointed I am with how this was handled. She struggles to leave the house at all being "high risk" and found this location, that happened to be closer to her. Her and her husband being loyal long term customers of Jersey Mike's. Every family event we have had always seems to be catered by you guys.. In this time, with our nation struggling I am just flabbergasted that this woman refused to take her stinking coupon. I have been ill this last week or I would go over to her house and help her with the darn app but I am currently forced to not even comfort her with more then a phone call. Ordered sandwiches for pickup at the Westgate Glendale, AZ store. I received a text, that Jersey Mike's received the order. 20 minutes later, I received a text my order was ready for pick up. It took me 15 minutes to drive to Jersey Mike's after receiving the text. However, when I arrived, my order was still being cooked. I waited over 10 more minutes for my order to be completed. read more

I went in an hour before closed to get some giant philly cheese steaks for dinner and as I walked in, I was told to wait while an employee cleaned the grill. After she finished, I gave her my order but she proceeded to tell me that she had finished closing the grill. I tried to get her attention before she started cleaning but was told to wait. I'm incredibly frustrated as the employees here are always quick to disregard me and send me on my way. ZERO STARS! Look at the photo's on the website and you think you're ordering a nice big sandwich. You aren't. The skimpiness of the meats was absolutely pathetic, they even forgot cheese in two of our sandwiches. Lot's of lettuce, though, but we didn't go here for a $15.00 salad! The most incompetent workers on earth. After they asked if I wanted it "mikes style" I said no, only lettuce. The continued to put onions on the sandwich. I told them, "no onions, only lettuce" and they picked it off. Then they started putting on tomatoes. I said "no tomatoes, only lettuce" and they had to pick off the tomatoes. Then we checked out and got the meal. The forgot to give us chips so we had to drive back. They were so incredibly I competed, boring, no personality, as if they hated having a job. Grow up and learn to have customer service skills, be thankful you have a job, and maybe learn your different toppings if you can't tell the difference between onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Came in on my lunch break and was under a time constraint. A woman took my order, walked away, and didn't start it. Two male employees were behind the counter not doing anything obvious. One was repeatedly scraping a clean grill, the other was standing, leaning, not helping. When I explained I was under a time constraint they told me I had to wait for the person in the bathroom to get back, then went back to doing nothing. I left without ordering food and will NOT be back. I understand people have to go to the bathroom, that's not the problem. Plenty of McDonald's, dunkin, Starbucks, etc employees go to the bathroom multiple times a day. The difference is that at those establishments the rest of the staff picks up the slack and both communicate and set expectations around the timing of food/service. Communication is key when it comes to customers and expectations. read more

Orderd from uber eats got a $16 sub asked for no onions. Sub came loaded with onions....

The manager (guy with blue shirt and slicked back black hair) was counting money and didn't bother washing his hands before he put on his gloves to make my sandwich. The younger employees look miserable as they never smile or engage...The manager shows no expression either. I will let my friends and family know this and will urge them to not come to this location. I look forward to Caramba's opening next door. They will be getting my money now. read more
