Workers are so kind and the manager Kirsten was so helpful! My food was delicious and very quick

Yesterday I decided to get some Jersey Mikes for dinner after finding out they make all their sandwiches into salads. I ordered online and when I walked in the lady making the sandwiches told me I have to wait is few minutes. I sat outside and came back in and my food was done so I picked it up, thanked her and left. When I got to my car I noticed some liquid had drained out of the container and into the paper bag. I just poured it out. While driving home I noticed it was leaking onto my car seat so I put a magazine under it . When I got home I realized the salad was SWIMMING in vinegar. So much so, I poured it out. And blotted some more with 3 paper towels. It was so bad that after trying to eat it I just threw out the rest. I just could not finish it. All I tasted was vinegar. The bowl in the pictures I provided is filled with what I was able to pour out. It is yellow cuz I asked for some mayo and spicy mustard as well. I didn't realize they just poured the sauces onto the salad. I watched videos of the salad on social media and they all had condiment containers filled with the sauces, so you can pour as much as you want. But this jersey mikes just didn't that. And the woman who made it poured like 4 ounces of vinegar onto my salad, and made it inedible. Go to another spot or make your own. I have had salads at subway before and it was never this bad. Skip the salads. They are awful! read more

We go to this JM at least once a month (not enough to be noticed), but had such an absolutely positive experience today, we felt compelled to share Ordered online, and when we got there, there was no other customers, and when we looked for our order, the 2 employees up front apologized profusely because the system was down. We kept assuring them we understood, but they kept apologizing. We started joking with them about it to lighten the mood, and we went back and forth laughing and joking about it all They were so friendly and kind, and they generously threw in some extras Wish more places were like this. It's the delivery service GrubHub drivers that are not working on communication and their customer service sucks . Jersey Mike's Subs just opened in Haymarket a few days ago. It is in the Haymarket Village Center - right next to Starbucks, in the space previously occupied by "Penn Station East Coast Subs." I stopped in for subs to go for dinner the other night. I had a coupon for the buy one regular sub, get one regular sub free, so I utilized that! I ordered the Chipotle Cheese Steak and and an Italian Sub. I had them add banana peppers and jalapeños to both subs. The Chipotle Cheese Steak had a nice zing to it - due to the Chipotle mayo! Steak was tender, cheese was just right amount, bread was the right texture. The Italian sub was also good - but I feel like they went overboard on the oil and vinegar. Every inch of the sub, including every bit of the outside of the sandwich was dripping with oil and vinegar. I hope that is not the standard - I needed a bib to eat it without getting oil and vinegar on my clothes! Call it onions and peppers sub instead of mushroom swiss. Barely any shrooms and I didn't want onions or peppers but they don't ask, they just make it. All the other subs they ask what you want on it. Last time I ordered a different sub they piled onions. $18 for this read more

Love the location as it is closer to Kohl's rather than WalMart. The restaurant overall is clean and we were greeted immediately and they started our order. Need a little more selection of chips especially baked chips. My wife prefers unsweetened tea with either Splenda or Equal. Only choice was Sweet n Low. The sandwiches were nice and the choices of breads were good. Tables are all disappointing as none of them are level and we almost spilled our drinks. read more

Worst location i've been to yet. . The food was far below sub par. And the cook just rushed thru my sub it had barely any steak and it was all falling out the top of the sub, i literally had to push it back into the sub roll before i could eat it. I went today after work and I smelled how delicious it was across the street. So I went in and was greeted cheerfully by a employee named Travis. Another employee came up and greeted me with a smile as well his name was Parker. My food was super delicious and everything was perfect even the price. The store was clean and neat. I placed an online order for a sub that I brought home and was wrongly made. When I called to let them know, I ended up speaking with a girl named Lindsay on the phone Who was so nice. She went above and beyond to make sure that my order was remade correctly, and then personally drove it to me, as she was getting off work five minutes after we got off the phone. When I first walked in the da place I thought to myself "wow this joint nice" and the little boy at the cashier who btw looked like a traffic cone by the way his body was shaped, we're talking thicc hips and no shoulders, anyway the boy took my order and what not but he proceeded to dump almost the entire bottle of oil onto my sub, it was soaking wet, literally drowned in oil, I'm talking so much oil the US military wanted to invade, nonetheless the sub was okay, little moist for my liking but that's besides the point, also they had my sub sitting on the dirty rat poop invested counter for a while and that was gross but Mr. traffic cone behind the counter said that's what they always did... subway better no cAp Sincerely, Yung money pimp read more

I was a little gun shy to try this location, as I had bad experiences both at the Jersey Mike's a few miles away, and awful times at Penn Station, the former sub shop here. The fact that they blanketed the neighborhood with coupons made trying it an option and I'm so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, watching the manager run a sub out to someone who had forgotten it, I was prepared to have a better experience than at Penn station, and I did. Over the last week, we've been there three times, and had three five-star experiences. Manager Austin is running a great crew. Young, friendly, efficient, and they seemed to work seamlessly, with nobody needing to be told what to do, and even an hour before closing, not an idle hand to be found! Food service can be exhausting, and I would have expected a more sedate pace from the staff, and was beyond impressed that none of the employees slowed down. Order taking is easy, though the meat counter is a bit high for us shorter than average people. For the first visit, the order taker was standing in front of the counter, and I think it was a bit easier to communicate with him that way rather than calling over the counter, but that is just a point of preference. All orders were perfectly prepared, and suggestions for bread were made based upon my orders. Be aware, they have Pepsi products, both bottled and fountain, and if you want sugar free, your only options are bottled water, unsweetened iced tea, or Diet Pepsi. They have hot and cold subs, chips and other bagged snacks, and a few dessert options of brownies and cookies. They also have gluten free bread and at least one gluten free dessert. The subs (cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteak) were hot, freshly prepared and had great taste! The bread got a little wet, but by doing something as simple as turning the bun over, letting it rest on the thicker side, kept the bread as dry as possible and intact through the eating process. The floor and trash areas were incredibly well maintained. Austin and his crew have won me over, and I look forward to my next visit. read more

Great sandwiches, service is by the usual eye- rolling can't-be-bothered teens, so double check your orders and make sure you ask for your napkins/straw/condiments. Awkward location to get into and can access only from one side, with SWAT looking big black SUVs in the parking lot, but that wouldn't deter me from returning as I am passing by again. My best friend across the country swears by Jersey Mike's but I am more of a Potbelly's gal, so I gave Jersey Mikes a try and to her credit I will acknowledge that at least I didn't feel like my money was wasted at Jersey Mikes like it is on sandwiches at Jimmy John's and Subway where all food tastes fake and plastic. Good bread goes a long way, and so do nice veggies, it's not all about the meat, and I think mikes delivers on that. My go-to sandwich is an Italian sub , Mike's way with extra hot peppers. For the record I think they deserve 4 out of 5 stars with one star deducted for lazy half a$$ service, but I will give 5 to help improve their rating so they don't go out of business because I'm tired of the limited options around here and as long as I actually get what I ordered, I'll tolerate the bitchy teens attitude read more

What a poor excuse for a Jersey Mike's. Two of the three employees seemed to be mad at one and other and were bickering back and forth. The restaurant was absolutely filthy; trash on the floors in both the dining room and on the line. My pickup order that was placed online hadn't even been stated when I arrived to pick it up; I could see if the grill was loaded with food, but it wasn't! In fact, there was nothing on the grill and the person that was supposed to be cooking on the grill was filling sauce bottles at a snails pace. The customer experience can never exceed that of the crew experience...you could tell they weren't happy to be there and it certainly showed tonight. read more

I have tried numerous times to be supportive of this location during COVID. Twice I've placed an order and it did not go well. I understand everyone is doing their best during COVID-19, but good Customer Service still should be top of mind. Apparently, this location uses Door Dash. Both times, either items were left off of my order or in the case today, the Door Dash driver did not show up to pick up the order and deliver it as stated in the app. The Jersey Mike app kept showing the order delivered, all to find out it was still at the store at the time it was supposed to be delivered. As I understand that it's not the store's fault that Door Dash was late, I gave the store 1 star due to Customer Service. When I called the store to share my concerns, both times, the manager of the store, Tom, was less than professional; instead of coming to the phone to at least say, "I apologize, we are doing our best," he just sits in the background yelling to the worker on the phone about what he did or did not do. The least he could do is be a little professional. At least say, "we'll speak to Door Dash..." Again, I sincerely understand everyone is under pressure...but a little kindness and consideration still goes a long way. It's not like I was expecting anything for free, neither would I have accepted something for free even if at least he considered offering free cookie for the trouble. Please understand my review is not intended to deter anyone from supporting this store. The workers, and other vendors should not be impacted as we all need support during these unprecedented times. However, this review is directed and intended towards Tom to say, "as a manager, demonstrate better customer service. People don't have to care enough support your store. This is by far the worst location I have EVER been to and we eat at Jersey Mike's at least twice a week. We have started to avoid the lines and the unpleasant staff by placing orders on the app, but our orders have NEVER been ready on time. When we have ordered in person, the staff are either struggling to make the orders or struggling on the register. I'm sure they are newer and maybe still learning, but watching the more experienced employees talk down to them is cringey and uncomfortable. With there being other locations nearby, we will avoid coming to this location until they can get it together. Not even close to the customer service I've received from every other location so this isn't worth the convenience. read more

I went in here because it's newly open and I love Jersey Mike's subs. However, three young individuals that do not have an understanding of ethics were attempting to be humorous. The kid cutting bread and working the slicer had no idea how to slice bread and ended up ripping through the bread and smashing it while doing so. He only left three-quarters of the bottom piece and had no idea why the meat didn't fit like it was suppose to. I watched as my sub made it to the next person who had just finished with a mikes way and before he placed my sub on the cutting board he simply pushed the leftovers from the previous sub into the lettuce container. There were three of us that just looked at each other like what just happened. No, I don't recommend this one and will make the additional trip to Gainesville one to get my subs. read more

The bread was stale, the lettuce so awful looking we didn't even ask for it, but we did ask if they had any that was fresh only to be told it was just changed out, certainly not with the extra cost. I love going to Jersey Mikes. But this is the worst location i have EVER BEEN TO. Keep in mind i go ALOT. Usually to the one in stonewall shoppes. I go in to order a sub, and was not greeted for almost 15 minutes while three young employees were having a chat in the back. My presence in the lobby was no secret to anyone... should i start slicing my sub myself? Eventually i get some assistance, and the attitude i got from the slicer was incredibly disrespectful and rude. As he slops my sandwich together on a filthy counter top and then bullies his other employee into finishing the other sandwich. I came maybe 45 min before close, and I understand that it had maybe been a long day. But its no way to treat customers or other staff/peers. They finished my sandwich leaving off ingredients he sped me through and that was it. By far the most uncomfortable experience i have ever had in a jersey mikes. The young man with the curly hair and half those dudes in there need to GOOOO. Go up to stonewall if you want a good sandwich with a good experience. Dont waste your money here. read more

Ordered 4 subs on July 7th 2020 Italian, turkey, and two meatballs, cookies and brownie. To start off with the Italian sub I ordered was missing the extra tomatoes, had no pickles I ordered or banana peppers. It was drenched(the bread was mush and soaked through from oil and vinegar). The turkey had all the toppers but also was soaked with oil and vinegar making them both nearly un eatable. Both meatball subs were the same way too much sauce and the bread soaked through. Since the places our cookies under the hot subs they were melted when we got them out. Overall horrible location and we even called to complain starting off respectful with the manager but when he made excuses for the food saying that's the way they make their subs asking us to drive back out to bring them in for him to see is when my husband got quite upset with the manager on the phone. Keep in mind I was a server for 12 years, I have a level of understanding when things are "perfect" especially with take out but we have traveled all over and never had a worse experience with the food and then the customer service to top it off. We should have received our money back or at the very least an apology and gift card sent to us to make up for the bad experience.
