I'm a transplant from Philly so I know a good sandwich when I taste them. They are called subs here and hoagies in Philly. This was not a hoagie by no stretch of the imagination. The best part of the sandwich starts with the roll. Unfortunately the best ones are made on the East coast called Amoroso rolls. The roll should never be cut completely in half. I tried the turkey sub and I gave it the old college try. Not that great of a sandwich and it was because of how it was made. The worker was very nice and tried his best but I am not afan of the roll. The turkey was sliced fresh but the sandwich was not made to my liking. No reflection on the worker, I'm just used to having my sandwich my way. That is why I usually make my own hoagies at home after finding the rolls that are closer to the ones back East. I guess I better stick to that option. I'm quite sure that there are those who will have no problem with the place because they actually did nothing wrong. Just not for me. read more

The subs "hoagie" was okay, not exceptional. The steak sandwich was lacking flavor. The service was good except the check out. I had a coupon for a discount on a regular size sub. I bought the giant size and was refused the discount. Dah! Next time I will buy less to get the discount or perhaps not come back. Bad Business Practice. I think Jersey Mike's does a fair job for subs. However, I was disappointed in the workers cross-contamination issues which I observed. They were plastic gloves to protect themselves and not the customer. I saw a male wipe the sweat off his forehand and then make the sandwich behind me. This store is TERRIBLE! Several times now I order take out and bring home which is almost 100 miles away! Several times the order has been wrong. They forget pickles (2X) in a row, forget to put spices on. Forget the roast beef and more! Need better training. Might have to stop going to JM because they seem NOT TO CARE. I gave Jersey Mike's a bad review the other day, I was just upset getting the wrong sandwich. I live in Pahrump so after getting a sub from Henderson, driving back 60 miles to Pahrump and finding out the wrong sandwich ,turkey instead of roast beef I reacted too quickly. I got a call from the owner based on my review and I must say i was very pleased with the way the owner handled the situation. My daughter an i have always loved Jersey Mike's and make it a point to frequent this location. Everyone has a bad day and we must have walked in right when there's was happening but on the revisit everything was perfect, clean and rockin, the way it has always been! The Subs were as always amazing and the service was fantastic. I am so happy they addressed the minor problems. On a positive note, i changed my rating and gave them 5 star! Class acts all the way! We had placed an online order last weekend to save some time, however when we started to open our subs, we were surprised that 4 out of our 5 subs were made wrong. After calling, we were told that we could return to have our order remade. We chose to do so and returned this weekend. As promised, our 4 subs were remade with out problem and the team was professional and courteous. I tried a Philly cheesesteak this time, which was good. They are a bit more expensive than their competitors, however we enjoy the flavors and the menu selections. I am glad to see that a few more locations are starting to pop up around the valley too, however online ordering is not yet an option at all locations I've noticed. This location of Jersey Mikes way better than the other locations. My guess is they are franchised & actually have a slightly different menu layout. Easier to figure which sandwich to get. Super fast, & they have a better configured system now w/covid standards where to stand, order & wait. And it's marked clearly (unlike other places). They seem to have a very well thought out plan on the process, like where you get your own bag. Kudos to the management here. AND their prices are lower than other locations, so I will drive further to come here to get a better tasting sandwich read more

I come to this location often and I order a Mini italian sub. I always get it Mike's way and its delicious. I love how they slice the meat and cheese right in front of you. The location is clean, and the employees are very friendly. I always get a welcome when I come in. I highly recommend anyone to eat here! read more

Still very happy with this location. I probably ate 125 lunches here in 2019. Chi and the rest of the staff do a great job making the sandwiches. I have yet to have a disappointing meal and my favorite thing is that no matter who makes the sandwich, it is consistently the same. Not tons of meat one day and then almost no meat the next. Make sure to sign up for the rewards points so you can get a free regular sub after 72 points. Sometimes you will see the owner in the store and he is a really nice fellow too. I can't say enough about this Jersey Mike's and their staff. I went in there and orders several subs during a dinner rush. When I got home, I realized that they had messed up on one of my subs (nothing major) , so I gave them a call and they took my name down for next time. The next time I came in, they comped my entire order! Talk about customer service! They were polite and professional both times. They made a loyal customer out of me... So first of all having 3 people hang out while one guy makes sandwiches, kinda lame. But whatever...maybe you can't make a sandwich and can only cashier. But not telling people you are out of the red pepper relish and then blaming it on the "California drought" is uncool when I just came from Cali and had it smothered all over my sando. This location is bad. Got turkey and cheese to go and the bread was so stale it was literally inedible. I picked off the turkey and ate it w crackers from my pantry. Disappointed bc I really like Jersey Mike's but will never try this location again. Bread that old should never come close to being served to customers. Gross. read more

We came here because we got coupons in the mail. When my wife and I got the food to go we noticed that their menu is way overpriced compared to similar sub shops. When we got home, we realized the food was greasy and that my hot meat was not drained, so all the juices soaked the bread to the point of falling apart. They had messed up both my wife and my order (putting toppings we hadn't asked for, and omitting ones we had). Finally, the teenagers working there were more concerned with flirting with each other behind the counter than actually helping customers. That's probably why it took over 10 minutes to get our sandwiches when there was no one in front of us. You want a better place? I ordered a turkey sandwich with mayo and an Italian mikes way. When I got home, a 20 minute drive, I found two dry sandwiches, not a drop of mayo or oil and vinegar. When I called to complain because this has happpened the last three times I ordered. I was told to to give the food back and they would remake them. I told them to deliver it to me as I live 20 minutes a way. Of course that wasn't happening and all the offered to do was give me 50% off of one sandwich on my next order. No apology or anything. Emily the manager called someone else to the phone apparently scared of me because I was talking too loudly and she felt I was yelling at her. That really pissed me off. Clearly Emily should NOT be a manager. End result is nothing was done but I have contacted the franchise main office and hopefully they will deal with them. Plus, as usual the turkey sandwich tasted like bread and lettuce because they are extremely stingy with meat at this location. Seriously, I could not taste a hint of turkey. Pitiful when you Spend $15 for a bread and lettuce sandwich. Put his location out of business, go to any other jersey mikes as they are not all stingy with the meat like Lalo's location is on Stephanie. Less than poor customer service and quality at this spot! So....ok. I've been going to Jersey Mikes since the opened a location on Cheyenne and Durango. I've always liked their food and the newly trained employees made great sandwiches. Me and my partner just moved to the Henderson area and we've adopted the S. Eastern Ave. location as our new Jersey Mike's location. I've gone there a few times after 8 and I have been greeted w/ an attitude every time, though I mention nothing; the sandwich's where fine and I choose my battles, until tonight. I called in to make a to-go order at 8:30 for one regular tuna. Bella answered the phone w/ a fair tone. I asked to place a to-go order and she handed the phone to her male co-worker; a stale "Hello". He couldn't hear me over the phone, so he yelled something and hung up. I called back and the boy had picked up and proceeded to ask me what I wanted w/ an obvious attitude in his voice. I told him the sandwich I wanted and he asked me what size. I asked him what sizes of sandwiches they had and he replied, "Man, if you're gonna..", and hung up the phone. I drive down there to get a name and get my parter and I some food and I wait in line w/ no greeting, of coarse, and I asked the boy his name; Sawyer. I tell him I'm they guy he hung up on twice. The then tells me he had a five person line, smirked, and said, "Sorry", which is no excuse to hang up on someone twice. I told him when I was paying that his day was almost over, there was no reason to be so rude. He then tells me, "Whatever, man. Looks like your having a bad day." I wanted to scream, though that would solve nothing. I got both employees names, obviously, as well as the managers name. Now I'm home and I'm reading similar reviews about the rudeness of the employees there and I'm just offended at what went down. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the food is decent if it's not made w/ angry hands, which lately they have been. I have seen Sawyer the times I've been and he's honestly always seemed sour, and after reading some of these reviews, it seems he feels he can freely get away w/ blatantly rude behavior. My partner goes at different times and has good service so he will continue to go. I, on the other hand, will be talking about this for a good second. Truly disgusted and let down. *UPDATE* The owner of the franchise contacted me w/in hours of my experience and he offered to take several different actions to rectify the situation. I will not be going into the sandwich shop for while if at all, but my partner will continue to order food from this place. It has good food and good experiences each time he's visited. Service was great so was food . The reason I give one star was because when I went it was very noticeable from 12:30-1:30 on 10/31/21 . That the guy Infront was treating his co worker very disrespectful, rude, and was DEMEANING her. Loudly! Everyone in the store noticed . Two ladies paying while I was still waiting my turn said something to him because he was going just TO FAR. It seemed as though he might of been a team lead / supervisor or manager . Not too sure but he seems to have the IM IN CHARGE DEMEANOR . I tried looking for a name but none of the employees had a visable name tag. The girl at the cash register was fine! We paid and she gave us our food no problem. She seemed young so we assumed maybe she's young and a new employee who's learning. But not sure cuz she seemed to be fine at the Register. But Iv been there before too at 16 working and still never experienced that treatment. Poor girl! I hope she knows she's wonderful! Doing a great job! And I hope she QUITS! And Sues . I would LOOSE MY SHIT if my young 16-17 yr old daughter was working someplace where they treat her like that. I would quit in a heartbeat myself. I hope she quits ! If you are a Philly or Jersey native it will be an absolute disappointment, perhaps it is the bread or just the employees not knowing how to make a proper cheesesteak. Went here to have lunch with my family. After waiting 15 minutes on my sandwich and my family already done with their meals I went to check on my sandwich.
