I use to really enjoy eating here but the last few times I've been very disappointed. The service was alright but the food seems to have gone down in quality. If I'm understanding correctly they have a new owner. The deli case is now papered over so you can no longer see the meats and cheeses. Overall it's just lacking from what it was. The subs are the same price which I didn't mind before because I felt as if I got what I was paying for. Well, no more of that IMO I feel the have cut the amount of ingredients by at least a third.... at least!!! So honestly I don't know if I'll go again. I might try the one in Apple Valley. read more

I love jersey mikes! I normally go to the one in apple valley because it is near my house, but I was in the area and decided to give this location a try. The employees are great! They were so friendly and even though the place was packed for a Sunday afternoon dinner they took time to make great sandwiches and offer tips. The guy who made our sandwiches was a manager and he was so sweet to our kids. He wrote their names on their bags. That matters to a five year old. He doesn't care the number lol he wants to see his name. The place was clean. The tables were all cleaned even though the place was packed. I hate seeing trash left around when I walk into a restaurant. They had a nice clean and inviting place. The cookies were yummy. I recently gave up meat so I decided on their tuna sandwich. Simple - the only toppings they offer is lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeño, banana peppers, mayo & some kind of red pepper relish. Even though it is a very simple sandwich something about it is delicious! Ive become a huge fan of their tuna sandwich and even though the mini may look small it is very filling. Their brownies are great too! I've recently been getting a tuna sandwich with a brownie. The staff is great. When it first opened I could tell some of the staff was struggling a bit but more recently I could see that they have gotten the hang of things :0) It's a bit pricier than subway but I would choose jersey mikes over subway any day. I ordered a Giant #7 told her how I wanted my sandwich well I then said are u still weighting sandwiches well she had a nasty attitude anyway after she put the thinnly sliced turkey on the bottom of my bread then she weighed my sandwich and she took 5 slices of thin turkey off my sandwich. I had my first ever Jersey Mikes sub two days ago. The Rosemary Parmesan bread was delicious and fresh. I had a regular original Italian sub Mike's way. It made two meals. The meats and cheeses were fresh and of good quality. The toppings were just enough to add flavor without being overpowering. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean. I have two complaints. First, they had a single unisex restroom. I really hate unisex/family restrooms. Men do not know how to aim and it makes them gross. And second, there was no pastrami dip on the menu. They had a pastrami Reuben but that did not sound good at all. Perhaps you can get a pastrami grinder or hot pastrami off the menu but since it was my first time, I did not ask. read more

This was my cousins and I first time at Jersey Mike's Subs... let me say FREDDIE was absolutely amazing! He commended so many delicious subs and told us about their DELI FRESHNESS. He was extremely friendly and inviting! He had let us know about Mike's special which is the special mix of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, sauces and seasonings! (I RECOMMEND TO TRY IT!) No big deal here! The minute I walk up to the counter there jumping to take your order before you even have one minute to look at the menu. The atmosphere just felt rushed as well. Not all of us are in a hurry in this world. Told the gal taking my order I did not want oil or vinegar now guess what I got!!! That's right both! Not so great... When I walked in the line was short, only 2 other people in front of me, but it still took forever. The guy who took my order and made my sandwich was very rude and all he said was what do you want, what do you want?? and I didn't like the fact that he had a piercing in his cheek. Very unprofessional looking and not good to have around food!!! He was slow and the only other person I saw working was a girl who stood at the cash register the whole time. They are very scarce on the meat and avocado, but they give you way too much lettuce and oil and vinegar. They don't seem to care much about customer service. This Jersey Mike's was so accommodating! My mom ordered a gluten free bread sandwich & they did everything so professional! They cleaned the counter top, switched out knifes, put fresh paper down to make the sandwich on, switch the mayo to fresh mayo and everyone was so nice about it & didn't make us feel like we were a bother to them. The staff working was very friendly and they all seemed to work well together! We would come back for sure when we are in town. On top of everything the food was great! At $1 or more per inch of sandwich, these subs are twice as expensive as Subway (or more, depending on the sandwich). But it's not twice as good. And TBH, for a fast food sandwich, it needs to be four times as good to be worth the prices they charge. They are fine but not any better or worse than Subway (and Subway is already kind of meh themselves). Sauces are oily and drip everywhere and I expect the bread to be higher quality considering their boasts of freshness. The outside isn't crisp enough and the inside isn't pillowy soft and moist, it's kind of on the dry side. The turkey and chicken were salty even for deli meat. The bacon, though we watched them put strips onto the sandwich, taste like bacon bits and not real bacon. The flavor of the "Mike's Way" blend of spices doesn't mesh well with every sandwich they put it on. Again, not bad, but not good. Meh at best (there's that word again), and weird-tasting at worst. I wish they would open a Lee's Sandwich up the hill (preferably 24 hours like the one in Vegas, but I know that is just a pipe dream... a *crack* pipe dream), with their fresh French baguettes and their low low prices. Pho oddly has a high representation around here but comparatively few choices for banh mi. read more

Ordered one giant sized sandwich to share for two and the girl that first helped us was very helpful and friendly and suggested we share a giant size rather than ordering two separate sandwiches to save money which was great! The guy who was responsible for adding the condiments didn't listen very well and had to repeat our 3 condiments 3 separate times since he kept getting it wrong. Not that big of a deal, however the bread was the deal breaker. It was definitely not fresh. The ends were very hard and the bread would flake off and crumble whenever you took a bite. We were very hungry so we still ate it considering we took it to go and didn't have much of a choice, however we were both pretty disappointed in the quality from the place that prides themselves on being "a sub above". My mom and I were both getting a sandwich today and the sandwich maker loaded her sub with bananas peppers The sandwich maker had a attitude because when we asked for oil and vinegar on the side for both of our subs. she then proceeded to put oil and vinegar on my and I said wait I wanted it on the side she then swiped all the toppings and started to rebuild my sandwich and she stared to put tomatoes on it and I said I didn't have tomatoes. She then said onions I said yes then I thought she was talking to me and I said what was that and she snapped at me going I wasn't speaking to you, normally I'd walk out of the build because I refuse to be treated like this and give my money to a company that would allow this. Had a bad experience on 6/1 with an online order. Two sandwiches ordered and picked up immediately. Got home and the bread on each sandwich was completely soggy. Top and bottom. Couldn't eat it. Called immediately to let them know and was passed around to a guy that said he would comp our next two sandwiches if we returned within two weeks. Husband dropped in tonight to be told we weren't on "the list" and walked away with one replacement sandwich and had to pay for the second. The worst part, it was the GM that was sweating him.
