The kalua pig was tender and juicy... maybe a little too juicy because some of the juices spilled into the takeout bag. The misoyaki butterfish was the standout of the entire meal. Tender, buttery, and everything you hope misoyaki butterfish will be. It was so good that the teri beef basically became the side chick waiting on standby. The fried saimin was decent but didn't really leave a lasting impression, and the teri chicken was a little on the dry side. Now let's talk dessert. That chocolate cream pie was the perfect way to end our beach day. Rich chocolate filling topped with a light haupia cream and sprinkled with macadamia nuts. I could've easily eaten two slices without thinking twice. One thing to know before you go: this is currently takeout only. Some of the older photos show dine-in seating, but that's not the case.
