Whenever I want a sandwich Jersey Mike's on Valley Central Way is my go to, they provide great customer service and greet you as soon as you enter the door and despite however many customers are in the store, they quick and efficient with completing orders and I never have to worry about a long wait. Another thing I admire about this place is how the staff are constantly cleaning around the restauran sweeping, mopping and wiping down the tables. I would like to personally shout out the store's manager Aaliyah who never misses a beat and keeps the place running like clockwork. So I've passed this place by several times and seeing other locations and with enough disappointing visits to Subway I finally decided to give them a try. Boy was I happy I did. Yes it's a bit pricey in comparison to Subway but you completely get what you pay for nothing is shortchanged especially the flavor. You go to Subway get a footlong and you're basically filled up on bread still hungry for nutrients where is this place I got the half portion and left completely satisfied. Not to mention great service and very clean even with the busy lunch hour rush there was not a huge wait. The service was absolutely horrendous the workers cared more about their own personal conversations then making sandwiches. My mom had two sandwich's made today at this particular store while she was out doing grocery shopping. She then proceeded to get all the way home (we live in Rosamond), and her sandwich has peppers and onions on it. My mom can't have peppers because of gastric issues that are caused by them. It's bad enough my sandwich still smelled like peppers and onions, but the people working there wouldn't do anything about it. Both sandwich's were supposed to be the same. No peppers. No onions. So my mom drove all the way back into Lancaster to have them remake a sandwich because she literally cannot eat what they gave her, when the people working there were the ones that got the order wrong. All they could keep telling her was, "well you are geeing this new sandwich for free". Um no, you are remaking a sandwich that was made incorrectly in the first place. They would not remake my sandwich, and they didn't even offer compensation for a future sandwich after my mom just drove 25 miles to go back to have them fix something that was wrong in the first place. Received a call from the owner apologizing for the way the two employees treated me on Saturday. I eat here regularly with my family. He did not want to lose us as customers. He spoke with all the managers made sure they knew the process and procedures. He also offered us a family meal voucher.
