Another in-person visit after a few online orders, with mixed results. For today, I arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon and there were two customers in front of me and two online orders as well. That seemed to wipe out the six crew members, as they were overlapping duties to a big degree of inefficiency. Despite multiple errors with the orders ahead of me, I will discuss my specific order. First, I waited nearly 10 mins for them to clear the four orders ahead of me. As the employee asked me what I would like, he walked all the way into the back room, keeping his eyes on me. A bit weird. As he returned, he said: "What?" I ordered a #9 on GF bread, no other changes. I also got a #56 on herb bread but with no peppers. He then walked into the back room again. Someone else then took over, so I repeated myself. She asked which peppers I wanted off the sandwich and I stated 'bell peppers'. She replied 'no bell peppers' and I smiled and said 'none, cannot stand them'. 15 mins later and I'm checking my order in the bag, and the wrong sandwich is in the bag. I pointed it out and she just said: "Oh, give it to that guy," pointing to the guy next to me. I said 'nope' and handed the whole order back to her. She pulled his sandwich out, gave it to him with a roll of the eyes, and left the register area to speak with the cook. Turned out my #56 hadn't even been started yet. So, after 35 mins in all, I got my lunch, took it home and wow, there were peppers on my sandwich. Quite probably my last order from Jersey Mike's. read more

This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks that my orders were incorrect. A couple of weeks ago I ordered a special cheesesteak with NO ONIONS & PEPPERS, I got onions and peppers. My other sandwich was a club with NO BACON & NO ONIONS, they gave me bacon & onions. My order today was simple, No onions, no peppers. I asked for cold jalapeños on the side, i never got them. The jalapeños are a big part of the sandwich. Not having them, the sandwich was bland and tastess. I also asked for extra cheese, never got it on big sandwich. I paid for it, so i should get it. Very Disappointing. The problem I see is, too many cooks and NO COMMUNICATION. When 1 person takes the order and 2 others try and finish, the order always gets screwed up. This restaurant is VERY INCONSISTENT. This Inconsistency will hurt your business. It wasn't even busy. 1 sandwich ahead of me. You have several stations, quit trying to put inexperienced people in places that they have NO ClUE what they're doing. And by the way, I was watching the grill cook with dreadlocks, and some of my meat went into the discard garbage run. He scooped out my meat and it went back into my sandwich. Once a week my family and i treat ourselves for these bomb sandwiches. The flavor, size of portion is amazing and on point. The service is wonderful. The workers have an amazing memory and always smile and greet their customers. They are quick and friendly. The ambiance has a chill vibe. The is pop music playing at a nice volume. The shop is clean and i see the workers clean their stations and always refilling the veggies and dressings. Cant remember their names but they who they are. I wanted a sub and this place is close to my work. Decided to order lunch from here and pick it up to go. Right when I got there, they were finishing up my sandwich, and it was good! I placed a pickup order today on Jan 28th for Yareli Bee and tell me why not only was that the best sub I've ever had but it was even bigger than I imagined. I came in an hour before this location closed 8:15pm and the worker was already cleaning the stove said she wasn't able to make any hot subs seemed like she just wanted to go home early. Horrible experience I have to drive to a different location on 99ave and McDonald got here 15mins before closing and was able to make my order. read more

This is by far my favorite sub shop. I have had subs from other restaurants and they are ok but not one is as good as Jersey Mikes. This stop we picked up 2 Giant #9's. Both turned out fantastic. Tasted great, bread very fresh, look good as we opened them. Ordered ahead off the app on my phone , very easy and ready when I walked in. Only thing that could have been an issue would have been if the subs were two different subs, they didn't make them as requested. Being that they were the same not a problem. This is my first time eating Jersey Mike's food. I had a club. The meat was the lowest quality I've ever had on a sandwich or anywhere. Salty and processed, smelled like canned dog food, like the cheap Carl Budig lunch meat you get at the grocery store. It's difficult to tell that it's meat. The bacon was brittle dry and tasteless, except for the salt, of course. This is just low quality food. I would expect this at a grade school cafeteria or prison maybe. I guess people just expect less now. I won't go back. This was not healthy and was as far from holesom or natural as they come. read more

We have ordered several times from this location and the food has been good. The issue I've had is with double charging my card thru Postmates. Tonight however my sandwich was uneatable. I always wonder how Subway stays in business when there's a Jersey Mike's or Firehouse in the same strip mall. Now I know. We stopped by this location at 11:15 on a Tuesday morning and the place was filthy. We were the only customers, but every table is covered in napkins, onions, grease, and dried crud that's obviously been there since at least last night. The sandwiches were average for a JM's, but it can't make up for how disgusting this place is. If you want to visit this location, get here quick before the health department can shut them down. This place is great as long as you don't order through Uber Eats. For whatever reason they either make the order wrong or it's missing items... EVERY DAMN TIME! And to make matters worst they don't answer their damn phone when you call to report the issue. As you'll be able to see through reviews, this has happened many times before. The manager reached out and was very apologetic and made things right after my first review, so I decided to give them another try. Wrong move! I'll sum it up quickly: the service is great, and the sandwiches are BOMB!!! (I'd suggest putting that cherry pepper relish on your sub for some extra kick.) Ever since this location opened, I've wanted to try it out. Been going back for a couple months now, and I love the place. Their "Original Italian" is just delicious. If you haven't been there yet, you gotta go! You don't go there and pay five bucks for a limp sub that has you searching for meat. Walked in with an hour left until closing, lady was cleaning the grill and asked if we planned on ordering any hot subs which we were. She said we could not order anything hot at this time. I'm not sure why she was cleaning everything up and not allowing us to order what we came there for. Guess she was in a rush to get out of there. Been here several times and every time the sandwiches gets worse. The final straw was last night we stopped in for some subs. We ordered 3 sandwiches and was told we could get one free due to purchasing so many subs over time. The guy billed us out for 4 subs instead of 3 and getting one of those discounted off. When we caught it, while sitting in the store eating we brought it to their attention. We were told there was nothing they could do. They can overcharge us but can't refund us??? The Manager hid in the back room until I specifically asked to speak to her. Even she passed the buck and said we would have to speak with the GM to get our only back. Not my favorite J Mikes here. I've been a few times and I always leave feeling like, "that didn't seem right." Sometimes it's a long wait. Oftentimes in seems to be the employees being a little 'light' on the ingredients (lettuce or onions most often). I don't know -- being a franchise, it's weird to think, "well the one on Camelback is so much better," -- but it really is. I don't know, this J Mikes just needs to tighten things up and then it will be with the rest of the locations I have visited. I had thw roast beef. my friends had tuna and turkey. what to say... both friends stated the sandwich was bland, very little taste. my roast beef was also very bland. the meat was cooked with no seasoning, the oil and vinegar taste was over powered by the bland taste of the meat. the theme here is BLAND food! for the money I will go to subway around the corner. read more

When I was working everybody would go on about Jeresy Mike's subs. "Mike's Way" they would say. When I retired there was not one close to my home base. So, out here in Laveen visiting the son we get some Subs. My basic opinion is they are your basic sub. The bread is hard white Italian bread and the toppings seemed your basic fare. The ingredients seemed fresh and the pepper was a nice touch. The meat was not too plentiful (turkey) but thankfully not too salty. The cheese was very good and the light dressing is a pleasant change. However, they are not the cheapest sandwiches around and they are not much better (IMO) than other chain submarine sandwiches and certainly not better than the many local sandwich shops.
