I have become more recently irregular at this particular location of Jersey Mike's. There are only two sandwiches that I love to order. One of them is the Big Kahuna, but without the bell peppers. And the other is the chicken bacon ranch. They are both so tasty and so satisfying. My little one likes to come here with me and Cher a sandwich. She actually likes to get the mini Big Kahuna, but with no peppers and no jalapeños. My lil monster loves the combination of cheese, mushrooms, and onion. The girls who work here are all very sweet. They don't mind a little conversation with you. I love that everything is made to order. I love that when I order a Big Kahuna. I know that my meat will be freshly cooked on the grill/griddle. Every time I come to the restaurant, it is spotless. Even when there were a bunch of elementary school, aged boys having lunch there, quickly after they left, they threw away their trash, and just after that their table was cleaned and sanitized. I like that I feel safe in this environment. I like that they take responsibility for the dining area. Parking here can be kind of difficult. There are 215 minute waiting spots in front of quite possibly two of the most busy businesses in this little strip mall but hey, at least there's parking. read more

Best sandwich chain and it's not even close. I usually get the Turkey and Provolone on Rosemary Parmesan and it always satisfies. Their ingredients are always fresh and they have great condiments to go with the sandwich. Their chipotle mayo sauce goes well with any sandwich. The last sandwich that I got was so good that I can't wait to get it again. If you are in the mood for a tuna sandwich, I highly recommend this place. Ask for it Mike's way which means they season your sub their way. Love it!! You of course can have your sub made your way. Besides tuna, they have the usual meats like turkey, etc, etc. The meat is thinly sliced but they put a lot of turkey slices or whichever meat you choose. You also have a choice of type of bread you want. If you like chips, they have plenty of choices to choose from and of course drinks. Due to COVID, your sub is to go. Parking can sometimes be a challenge because the lot is shared with several stores. There is street parking though. I really had to update my last review, when this place was a hit and miss. I think every business has an off day, makes mistakes, and it's how they handle those days that sets them apart. They reached out to me, and asked me to try again. Sure, why not. The subs are usually pretty good. This time the service was great and it felt nice to be there. They are crazy busy, and when I went they still managed to say hi, take care of a lot of people, and interact with me like I was a person. Hooray!!! I think that this place is a winner. The worst cheesesteak I've ever had. And the staff pretended to listen but they didn't, not good service. I ordered the Big Kahuna and asked for tomato to be added. When I got home, not only did it not have tomatoes, it had only 2 jalapeno pieces and few onions or mushrooms. No flavor. 5 stars to Jessica! I came in here to use the restroom and assumed I'd only be able to eat some chips. Low and behold, because of Jessica I was able to eat a proper meal before heading back out to work! They have gluten free bread AND a vegetable sub! Veges rejoice! I am adding an update based on the fact that they are breaking the law and scamming customers out of bag fees. I was getting a sandwich for my daughter and I asked for no bag (which in the State of California, customer do not need to have a bag), they refused to refund the fees. Other stores do not charge the bag fees. I am reporting this practice to the state environmental body and BBB, as they are breaking the law forcing a bag fee when customer do not want the bag. SB-270, does not allow stores to profit from bag fees. Some people may read this and not understand why I've written about a 10 cent fees. It adds up, I've had to pay $2 even though I do not want a bag. So, for every customer that decline a bag, the store keeps the 10 cent fees, therefore, making a profit from bag fees. California SB-270 - (f) A store, as defined in paragraph (1) or (2) of subdivision (g) of Section 42280, shall not require a customer to use, purchase, or accept a single-use carryout bag, recycled paper bag, compostable bag, or reusable grocery bag as a condition of sale of any product. read more

This location is located in a plaza diagonally from a gas station and across from Gelsons. Parking is horrible, but it's worth it for these subs. Horrible parking is expected of Los Feliz. I asked my brother how he felt about Jersey Mike's: "Sandwich of the century! They shouldn't call it a sandwich sub(marine).. they should call it a sandwich yacht!" hahahaha! The staff were working efficiently. We were in and out pretty quickly. I got the Jersey Mike's famous philly sandwich, which is a hot sandwich. I spoke with manager & she said it was the only lettuce they had. Trader Joe's is literally next door. She could have taken the initiative to buy some fresh lettuce to serve. I always come to this location and have always had a good experience. Perhaps it was because I went right around noon today. Four people working, two people waiting for their orders, another customer, and myself in line on the social distancing marks on the floor. Emely (identified as the server on my receipt) took my order for a giant tuna with extra tuna. She seemed harassed while the others were going about their jobs busily putting orders together. A couple of people came in to pick up their orders. Sure, it may have been the lunch rush but she appeared harassed. Maybe she was having a bad day? So she starts to put my (non-Jersey Mike's way) sandwich together - I asked for spices and jalapenos separately. So I get a mound of lettuce, onions...here's where I get annoyed. I asked for extra onions and more and more. Why? Because we love onions on our sandwiches and in our experience, Jersey Mike's onions are on the mild side for us so we ask for more. I told her I would pay for the extra but I want more. After about three handfuls she stopped and proceeded to the tomatoes. I gave up because getting annoyed over onions in my tuna sandwich was not in my day's plan. To further add to her annoyance with me, I asked for the two halves to be wrapped separately. Honestly, I was getting ready to ask her to help me to understand why she was in such a pissy mood and why I was seemingly her target. Instead, I decided to write it up here on Yelp. WARNING!!!! I just stopped by to pick up a sandwich, and help support local business. There were 2 people working there making other orders to go. When my order was taken, the man that took my order grabbed a roll and started to slice it. I noticed that his face mask was under his chin. ..not covering his mouth or nose as required . I asked him why he was not wearing his mask. . .he said "it gets hot in here", then begrudgingly put his mask on. After he finished slicing the meat...the lady working there grabbed the sandwich to add the condiments- she had a mask on that barely covered he mouth, her nose was totally exposed. I really like Jersey Mikes Sandwiches, but service at this Silverlake location has gone downhill. Today I ordered online through postmates, a simple order 2 bags of chips, 2 sandwiches, one with No Onion No Tomato, the other with No Onion, But Yes Tomato, My Sandwiches were delivered sealed in a Jersey Mikes Bag, one bag of chips was missing, but I was charged for it, the sandwiches were not marked, we had to guess which one had tomatoes, it turns out they both had tomatoes, but on one of them only one half had tomatoes, the other half did not, so the Sandwich maker realized half way that should NOT have put tomatoes on that sandwich, but they kept the tomatoes on it anyway, so when my brother pulled the tomatoes off all the Pepper Relish that he did want was stuck to the Tomatoes. Unprofessional Half A#% Sandwich maker made these Sandwiches, and shorted us one bag of chips, even though the receipt on the bag had all the details of my order, including 2 Bags of Chips that I was charged for. read more

This review is for the women who work here! Thank you for always being so on it! Everytime I go in the women are multitasking and getting everything right! Their communication amongst staff & customers is awesome! All of them make consistently amazing sandwiches! The guys who work here however... they're a little slow and I have witnessed them either mess up my order or someone else's more than a couple times. It always seems like the women here are picking up the guys slack. It's one guy specifically, he always looks lost. A few weeks ago he messed up my order so bad and couldn't figure out what to do that I had to walk out on him. Unbelievable! Long wait! Three people and still waited over 20 min. I asked for a straw and he stated he didn't have any I saw some colorful ones and he said it's for only kids ! After years of getting sandwiches from Subway, the idea of getting a sub just leaves a mediocre taste in my mouth. However, after eating here, I've noticed I've been craving sub sandwiches more often. I ordered the giant Super Sub on a warm Saturday afternoon. The wait was very short. I've gone to this location a handful of times and haven't seen it super packed. If you're short on time you can usually place your order and be out within 5 minutes. Parking may be rough though. This store is in a small plaza with a few other shops around and a pretty small parking lot. If it's too packed, you may get lucky and find parking in the neighborhoods around the area. Walking in the store front, it was clearly very clean which is a nice feeling to have. One of the team members were also slicing the meats, which honestly made me a bit excited to eat here. I'm not sure why but this gave me a vibe that fresh ingredients here are taken seriously. They assembled my sandwich and I had it "Mike's way" but I also added some jalapenos. The sandwich was great! The meats definitely tasted fresh. The lettuce, onions, and tomatoes were crisp and refreshing. The wheat bread was soft and perfectly cradled all the ingredients. The jalapenos gave a nice kick. The olive oil, salt, and pepper were very subtle but needed. I shared the giant with two other guys, and it was enough to get us pretty content. A regular sized sub, for myself, usually gets me quite full. Workers are pretty friendly here. Honestly, the next thing I'm planning on trying is their cookies, they look delicious.
